Very helpful when it came down to getting the right tires for my truck, but very bad at installing the caps to my rims. The manger called me after I put how my experience went with discount, and pretty much called me a liar. He claimed that he personally put on my caps, and I told him when I got home one was missing. He also told me maybe I should recheck his work after I leave discount. Why should I pay almost $2,000 dollars at this company and still have to recheck someone else's work. The manager at that. Instead of helping me get a new one he kept telling me how tight he tightened the cap and pretty much it was my fault. I will never do business with this company again, nor will I recommend them to anyone. read more

I had to drive back to my employer, Aggieland Green, as I'd forgotten my wallet and upon leaving noticed my front tire was low on air so I added some drove off and minutes into the drive "BOOM!" car swerving, life flashing before me. Not sure who to call I knew that Discount Tires was a short distance so I called and spoke with "Bryan" who verbalized real concern, empathy and to the point professionalism in rectifying my dilemma. He defined the process very well and the monetary and organization went phenomenal! I waited approximately an hour when my service rep "Terry Waugen" arrived with the Frankenstein Mobile Van that to say blew me away would be an understatement! Terry explained everything he did in his services, embellishing the reputation and exemplary customer service he's been blessed to be a part of for 18 Years! Great guy, very engaging, consumate professional knowledgeable to a fault yet the one person ypu know knew he was definitely an expert and had pride in his performance and it showed! Came for a set of new tires for my Tesla Model Y Performance. I take really good care of my rims and definitely in the top 1% of tesla owners that have minimal curb-rash. Unfortunately, technician scratched 2 of my uberturbine rims. Manager was very quick and professional to address concern and offer resolution. Manager Mickey and Cody did gain my satisfaction. One thing to note would be to take more time in training the technicians on being more careful when removing/mounting tires to rims (especially for Tesla vehicles as their rims are very delicate). Very poor customer service. I bought 4 tires for my car and they were more than happy to assist when I was paying $1,000 for service. Fast forward to now and I just need air in my tire. They took 15 mins to come out and assist me while I was sitting in the air check line with nobody to n front of or behind me waiting. I had to call the store to even get assistance. Unless you're spending money they don't care about you. I went here to get air in my tires after my tire pressure light came on. I pulled up to the designated entrance to wait for an employee and nobody came. I sat there for 20 minutes while all the employees in the garage just stood around talking to each other. Even when they would look my way, nobody helped. I will never ever visit this place again, and if you value your safety.. I'd advise you don't either. I visited the discount tire for the very first time yesterday afternoon after running over a nail. I took my car in, showed the guys exactly where the nail was and all. They told me that the nail would be removed and plugged for the time being. I have a warranty on all 4 tires elsewhere so I had intended to go today to get the one replaced. This MORNING when I walked out of my house my car was sitting 100% on its rim. I have never seen it in such bad shape. I have had tires plugged in the past. I told him I had a slow leek in my tire and that it should be covered under their warranty program (if you don't know what this is you're living your life wrong). Ok, as you already know, you can't go wrong with Discount Tire. They have the most affordable prices around. But, I'm not here to comment on that. The service here is impeccable. I know nothing about my car. Really, I keep it maintained and all; but tire tread and all of that is just beyond me. Ever since I got this car, though, i have had problems with the tires-- flats and just air pressure and all. So, dealing with that has always been a drag. That being said, Discount Tires took care of my worries. Everything was seamless from the moment I stepped up to the place. They listened to my concerns and handled everything in a prompt manner. I was in the area and decided to pull into Discount Tire as I've always heard good things about the chain and this particular location had a stellar 5-star rating. The place seemed packed but I was greeted almost instantly. Not even 5 minutes later, Cliff had already taken down my vital information and my keys. I walked to the mall next door in the sweltering 106° heat and I barely even got to finish my food and Starbucks when I got a call back saying my car was ready. I've bought many tires at this store since moving to champions in 1995, but never again. Like many of you, the temperature swings have left me with the need for some air in my tires; particularly, the front two. I drove up at 5:03 and asked for "Dalton" to fill my two front tires. He said he couldn't, because they close at 5. At this moment, he was filling 4 tires on one car and told me that there was another car waiting, but he couldn't do any more. I pointed out that the air check and fill was a marketing tool for existing and the. potential customers, but he told me that they close at 5 and he could keep doing air checks all night. While I was discussing marketing and economics with him, two other cars drove up and were then turned away. I hope these guys have a lot of customers and don't need me anymore.
