I went to Discount only because they sold the same brand as was already on my car, and I just needed a replacement. The prices were no better than the competition. The service up front was fine. It took too long to get the tire in, but there was a large storm that interfered - not their fault. After I left, however, I discovered that they had not secured my spare in the trunk. They had not put the jack away (the jack is held in place by the spare), and they had let items from my trunk fall into the spare tire well, which was full of water from putting the spare on in the initial storm. I had to stand in the rain in a suit putting everything where it should have been. Not exactly good service. read more

I dropped in without making an appointment and my car had four new tires within 45 minutes. The customer service here is very friendly, honest, and efficient. I was greeted with a smile and attended to within a few seconds of walking through the door. The waiting area is very clean and has coffee and water for customers as they wait. Was impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff. I bought 4 pirelli tires there for my bimmer and was happy with there selection they had in stock. I made an appointment for 930 and when I arrived my car was taken right in to begin the service. I was impressed they had me out by 10! The manager John was walking around chatting with customers and was very friendly. I usually buy my tires at Costco so this was a change for me. So do your research because costco prices on the 3 brands they sell are cheaper but not necessarily the best tire for what I needed. The only thing DT pushes there road hazzard "certificate" pretty hard. I've never needed it so the extra 10 or 20 bucks per tire isn't worth it. So use your best judgement. read more

They also confirmed tires were still good and no need to rotate them. I was in and out in an hour on a Saturday. Never ordering tires online from here again. They called me to set up an appointment after recieving my order, then I get there and they tell me my tires aren't in yet and they will call me when they receive this order. I took a sick day to get this done. I wait for a few days and then call them to find out what the hold up is. Turns out they did have my tires the day I was there. So got got my irked. Then every time I wanted to set up an appointment they brush it off like I can just do a walk in without a problem. I am currently sitting in the center for close to 3 hours and they havent even looked at my car as it sits in the lot. So Ive had to wait almost two weeks for tires I ordered online because someone doesnt know how to check their inventory, and stuck in the center for close to 3 hours (at time of writing this, might be more than that the way things are going). We will NEVER buy from them again. We bought 4 new tires for our car in 2009. They were 60,000 mile tires. The tread didn't last 20,000. One of them got a flat, they said they wouldn't see us, they were too busy. We ended up going to Firestone. Our current tires have lasted 6 years. I bought 4 new tires here in June '15. The guys were very helpful, kind and the service was fast. I was very pleased with my new tires! Yesterday (Friday afternoon), I discovered I had a metal pin stuck in one of my tires. Unfortunately, it was located in a spot that couldn't be repaired so it needed to be replaced. Cj, an assistant manager, was the one helping me. He was very friendly, helpful and quick to try to get it taken care of for me. I was having a rough day yesterday, a tire blew out and I have an AWD... Les Schwab was really trying to get me (because I would now have to replace all 4 tires) to pay so much money, money that I didn't have... I remembered I had paid for some sort of warranty when I purchased my tires brand new a couple of years ago from Discount Tires so I gave them a call. They had me come in and got me such a good deal because of that warranty! $220 for brand new tires... I was AMAZED. They covered the blown tire for free, and prorated the other tires out and credited my balance. I even got a special $75 Visa Gift Card Promotion in return, AND the $220 included the warranty on these tires, AGAIN... My enthusiasm is insane about this place... my car was even done within an HOUR! Discount Tires saved me, and Chris was an excellent person to help. I could talk for hours about how happy I was... but I did have one constructive criticism: GREET PEOPLE AT THE DOOR. The customer service feeling they strive for as a first impression is lacking. Once greeted it's amazing, but when there's a long line and no one has been addressed it doesn't give an instant "warm happy" feeling. My suggestion: Say Hi to people who walk in the door, and say "I'll be right with you!" That is the ONLY thing that could have made my experience even better. Bought Michelin 3A+ HP tires for my Jag. Got road hazard and replacement warranty. Picked up a screw into the tread of the front right so I went to Discount to get help. It was this past Sat and they were slammed. They checked my tire pressure on all tires and filled to 35# and told me there is no way they could take care of me that day. I went in this morning and was told I had to wait maybe 3 hours or more? Or make an appointment and that people waiting to buy tires were more important right now. Of course the first appointment I could get is 3 DAYS IN THE FUTURE. Or I could leave my car for who knows how many hours that would be. Bought tires and wheels for my truck. At the same time, I bought snow tires, mounted on my old wheels. I spent well over a thousand dollars that day. First the salesman argued with me about the tires fitting. Never a good start when the "expert" is dead wrong and won't admit it. When my order arrived a week later, the installer informed me that they had purchased the wrong lug nuts and the lug covers would not fit. They sent me on my way with an appt. a week later, when the new lugs arrived. I arrived for my appt. on time and was told they would get to it. After 45 minutes, they still hadn't started. Then some people walked in(no appt.) and bought tires from them. They brought their vehicle in and started, while mine sat in the lot. I went to the counter and told them to get my keys. They REFUSED to give me my keys. I was about ready to call the police when the manager came over and asked what was the problem. While I explained what a bunch of nonsense I was experiencing, I noticed that they had backed out someones car from a bay and quickly drove my pickup in. The manager gave me a bs apology and 15 minutes later, they drove my truck out. I buy and sell vehicles on a regular basis and often will upgrade the tires and wheels. This kind of "customer service" cost discount tire many thousands of dollars, lost to nearby Gary's Tire and Les Schwab. By the way, the tires/wheels fit fine. read more

I continue to shop at Discount Tire due to the exemplary service I receive every time I'm there. John runs and amazing store and he trains his crew well. They are always courteous and friendly. They keep you updated as to the progress of your vehicle and are happy to answer any question you ever may have. I found that they have the best prices when I comparison shop. On a recent visit I had a problem with my tire pressure sensor monitor. Very unfortunately when the technician went to remove it, the wheel actually broke due to corrosion. Not the shops fault, but yet it left me in a really bad situation. I thought I was going in to have a little problem fixed and now I have a big problem of replacing one wheel that would be a mismatch or having to replace all four wheels. That's a big unexpected expense. I was freaking out. John kept his cool. He offered me a couple of solutions. In hindsight, he gave me an amazing deal. We can not say enough about Race on our two visits on 20 and 22 June, 2017. We traveled 3,000 miles to see our daughter graduate from OSU. Her husband is in Afghanistan so he is not around to take care of the everyday tasks that pop up. Upon arriving at her house I noticed that my son-in-laws' truck front left tire was low. I took it over to Race and he could see that there was a nail in the tread. He took care of it within the hour at no charge. Two days later I was getting my daughters Honda Odyssey ready to make a cross country trek and noticed two of the four wheels had locking lug nuts......and no key! I took the Honda to Race and he removed the two locking lug nuts within 5 minutes of my arrival and at no cost. I am used to quality service from your company in the states we have lived in and traveled through. I strongly encourage my kids and grandkids to go to Discount Tire for the little stuff like I just mentioned or when it's time to buy new tires. I recently ordered tires for my Dodge Viper in Hendersonville, North Carolina and it was a flawless transaction. All this said, we were impressed with the congeniality and professional manner of Race.
