The problem is not the employees. The problem is the process. Twice in the same day, I was forced to stand and wait more than 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there. There is no check-in system, no ticket system, no greeter, and no clear way for customers to get assistance. Customers are simply expected to stand around and wait until someone notices them. I am scheduled for a total hip replacement in nine days and standing for long periods causes significant pain. Yet there was no accommodation, no seating offered, and no alternative way to check in. I like Discount Tire and will likely continue doing business with the company, but this location's customer intake process is unacceptable. Customers should not have to stand around wondering if anyone even knows they are waiting. A simple check-in system would solve this problem and greatly improve the customer experience.
