What a FANTASTIC experience! We have dealt with Discount Tire stores in other areas and have always been happy. We have not always been happy with the tire stores in Palm Coast. BUT NOW, we have a Discount Tire in Palm Coast and the experience is absolutely 5 star! We took our 2 vehicles here today for the first time since it opened and they took care of both vehicles in the time they told us, were nice, and knowledgeable and they said they would text us when they were finished ... and they DID! Had a nail in my 4 month old new car that could not be plugged. They ordered me a new tire. When the tire arrived 3 days later it was installed. Next day I receive a call from them stating that they forgot to put the donut spare tire that I had been using back in my trunk. (how does that even happen?). I went back this morning to retrieve it. The customer service rep went to look for it, found it and asked me to identify it. I had not installed the donut so I could not be sure. I said I didn't know but it looked like mine. I asked him if he thought it was my spare and his reply was "I don't know, I didn't work on your car". I replied back that I didn't work on it either, I am the customer and I paid to have Discount Tire replace this tire. He took it out to my car, he put it in my trunk. I said thank you to him. He said nothing. I said thank you again and his reply was "yep". No apology, no nothing. My initial dealings when ordering the tire was fine. Being treated this way when they were at fault is unacceptable. They have lost me as a future customer. A simple "I'm sorry for your inconvenience" would have gone a long way . Stopped in to take a simple nail out of my tire now they tell me they can't remount my tire because they don't feel that the plug they put in a safe so I said he will give me a new tire. They don't have a new tire so now my car is on a jack in the shop without a tire. I'm stranded without a car or cause. I had a slow leak in my thing. This place is the most unprofessional people they refuse to remount my tire based on their discretion that they feel it's not safe for me to drive when I would mad at myself anytime of day there's a slight little floor on the inside of the tire and they're saying I have to throw my tire out that only has 2000 miles on it They are sick people trying to make sales since I've got here. I've been pressured to buy everything I don't want. All I wanted was my nail out of the tire and I've been pressured by salesman one after another I will never use discount tire auto. I'll never ever come here again stay away. And results I have to call AAA to come put air in my tire in the parking lot because the assholes at discount tire refused to fill it with air. Worst experience I've ever had in my life with tires. This place is a fucking shit hole absolute shit hole yes, I agree. read more

Down in Palm Coast from NY.... notice that one of our tires Is loosing air. We decide to go to Discount Tire,... by Home Depot. We get there at 5:50. They close at 6. They take the car in and find the cause of the leak. Plug it and change the valve stem. We go to pay,....no cost. We were floored. Their reasoning- they want you to be safe Please give them your business! read more

I made appointment online and was greeted immediately by AJ who was courteous and professional. They assessed my car and I had a consultation with manager Wesley. He explained in detail what was needed, warranties and cost. The work was completed in less than an hour. The whole team was awesome. The crew was smartly dressed, masked and polite. They ordered new rims for my husband, Because they said that was the reason for his tire to keep losing air. They didn't make all of the same rims from the dealer anymore so he had to get a set of four new ones. He asked the mechanics to also check the air in the one particular tire and check the tire for leaks once the new rims were put on. They told him they found no leak and it's all fine. He was very skeptical because there was a complete flat tire prior to this. Needless to say we wake up in the morning after the rims are put on and there's Low air pressure, close to being flat. Clearly they never even checked the tire. Maybe because they were lazy maybe because they were in a rush who knows but now we have to take another several hours out of our day to go and get it fixed. Not happy and not impressed. I'm not thinking this has anything to do with Covid!! read more

Just left Discount Tire in Palm Coast. Our rental car had a screw in the tire and Hertz gave us their number! What a wonderful establishment! Their business model should be emulated by every American company! The tire was mended expertly and even the valve replaced at no cost to us! And the tire was balanced. My husband Joe said everyone he dealt with over the phone and in person could not have bern more personable, courteous and professional. No hassle and no wait!
