I've taken our cars here for the past few years. This is the first time I've visited this location, though. Today, I needed to buy the Certificates for the tires on my car, as well as get them rotated. I think it was Xavier that took care of me today. As the staff at DT is always friendly and professional, Xavier was as well. He also helped me get a little better price. The part of my experience that really made me want to write a review today was when I saw someone get a flat tire on Sam Ridley, right in front of the shop. One of the crew (possibly a manager?) walked out to the road to see if the guy needed any help. That's a true testament to the level of service that DT offers. read more

As soon as you walk in you're greeted, they really have great customer service! I'm not knowledgeable about tires so the gentlemen that helped me went all out on explaining the life on the tire and how to find out the life span of each tire. I wasn't pressured into anything I didn't want, but I'm glad he explained the tires I bought and how the lifetime warranty works. The staff here is always so friendly. They are in the business to sell tires but it doesn't feel high pressured to me like some tire stores. I recently noticed my low tire pressure light on and it wasn't the tire it usually is. I've had a slow leak on one because of a sealing issue, I took it too different Discount Tire to check it out and they said they fixed it, but it still leaked. I've got an air pump and I was lazy and just pumped it up every two weeks or so. This time it wasn't that tire. I noticed it was a different one and it had a NAIL in it! Ugh. So I made an appointment. I stopped in and was greeted and helped by the staff. I told them of my two tire issues and they told me they were able to fix it. It took about 40 minutes before they were able to take the car back and look at it. After the car was in the garage, it was only about 10 or 15 minutes until they were done. They told me my tires were probably ready to be replaced, which is true. I bought these tires at a different Discount Tire and it has only been an year an a half and about 30k on them. The tires are rated at 50k but need replacing? Odd but I'm not well versed in tires and how they're made. Overall it was a little wait to get the car in and out. I was also a little disappointed when a week later the tire with the messed up seal kept leaking when I was told it was fixed. read more

Don't buy tire certificates from this location. Heck don't buy anything from this location. Unless you want to support people that lie and steal hardworking peoples money. This location doesn't believe in rotating the tires that you have already paid for nor will they fix the tires you bought certificates for because they don't believe in doing work unless they can charge you for it. Let me start with how I don't typically write reviews. But when I do it's usually because the experience was bad enough to warrant some extra attention. I mean these guys made me care enough to look on their website and try to leave a review at their predominately 5 star location. But lo and behold no place for me to drop my two cents. Anyhow, I've come to this location a total of three times including today. I had tire issues for a straight year when I decided to just buy new ones with them back in '12 and then again in '14. I purchased lifetime warranties for all four of my tires through them and each visit was absolutely painless, easy, and FABULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. I loved it and remembered them for it. Now, tell me why today had to be different? I walked in and waited for someone to become available. Each person working looked at me, but said nothing. At least two guys came in, but one went to the phone directly in front of me and hid behind the monitor because you can't hunch behind it at 6'3, avoid my gaze, and glue a phone to your ear when I open my mouth and NOT consider that avoidant behavior. This was so BLATANT the other customer beside me glanced over at me and smiled sympathetically as if to apologize on the employee's behalf! Another guy came in and walked all the way around me, tending to no one by the way. Went directly to a counter with no intention of helping me. I had to directly ask him if he was busy to get his attention. On top of THAT he looked up to say "We'll be right with you" when an older white gentleman came through the door in the midst of "helping" me. If that isn't the most OBVIOUS way of saying I was unwelcome after standing there for Lord knows how long!! For the record I am not easily overlooked. I'm a short Asian girl with black and PINK hair. So I can't help but wonder what IS this?? Both times I had visited this location the experiences were consistent enough that I did not anticipate this kind of rudeness. I had to wait one of those other visits because they were that busy, but they acknowledged my presence as soon as I entered the door with the usual and expected "We'll be right with you," even if they couldn't tend to me and another person did. It's common courtesy and I got the help I needed. Done. Waited. Car fixed. I'm good. GREAT. But these guys made sure I was made to feel unwelcome. How offensive can PINK hair be?? The only positive experience I had from the workers today was the man handing me back my keys. What does that tell me except I REGRET doing business with Discount Tires because I no longer want to give any of my money to this company in general. But because of my purchases the only option I have is to go to a different location. I will make the longer distant drive to another Discount Tire than ever step foot back in this location. If any customer service or management for Discount Tires reads this please clean up your discriminating filthy employees that avoided providing me the service I needed on Friday, June 16, 2017 around 5:30PM-5:45PM. I have the time because I was complaining about them immediately after on Twitter. The employee that hid behind a phone and computer monitor directly in front me was blonde with his hair tied in a ponytail. The one that begrudgingly "helped" me, unfortunately, had such plain features that he really can be confused with any other male there at 5'5-5'7 with black/brown hair, no mustache(?) I think. He was seriously that forgettable. Anyhow, this visit sucked. A$$. Because I still had to fork over money even though I have "lifetime warranty" on my tires... He said it was because they didn't have the same tire in stock to replace...but really how would I know if that was truth after they lost my trust? read more

I am blown away by the adaptations this tire shop has made in the midst of the pandemic. A lot of places will state that they provide contact-less service, but let me just give a brief summary of the extent that Discount Tire Shop makes for their customers. I was able to purchase my tires online and verbally booked my appointment via telephone. Once I arrived, they began to work on my vehicle promptly at my scheduled time. I literally didn't have to step out of my car at ANY point during the service. I honestly felt like I was in the comfort of my own home, as I was able to relax in my vehicle and watch one of my favorite tv shows on my phone as I waited for the service to be completed. I want to give a special shout out to Bobby and Jerrett, who helped walk me through the online payment/tire selection and initial appointment scheduling, as well as Conner and Michael "Romo", the two AMAZING guys who did all the manual labor! Discount Tire shipped a matching tire for the shop there to install- then reimbursed me the installation cost because I had the insurance. It was amazing! Great Great customer Service. I picked up a nail in a tire, called them and they had me in and out in less than an hour today! Rotated my tires while I was there also. This place and the employees are awesome! Took my 2014 Dodge Dart in due to had bulge on one of my tires. This vehicle is new with less than 15,000 so my husband called Discount Tire b/c they sell Kumho tires, which is what's on the car, to see if they're covered under the Kumho warranty....they are not but that's a reflection on Kumho and NOT Discount Tire. So Leo - the manager tells us to come on down. Turns out, as I said, it's not under warranty b/c it's a bulge and not due to manufacturer defect. Instead of trying to make money off of us, Leo gives us credit for the bulged tire towards a new tire plus road hazzard on the other 3 tires for $80!! Now that's what I call going above and beyond! Also...while we were there, I noticed the courtesy, professionalism and friendliness of the entire staff. This store won my business without even trying....WELL DONE!!!! read more

Take your hard earned money somewhere else. First I am knowledgeable and a car dealer. I let them put tires on my personal mini van that my teenager drives paid 550 for tires with a warranty. 1st chance tire aligns my vehicles and rotates tires. This vans tires were rotated less than every 3k however these tires did not even last 6 months with under 10k put on them all the tires started cracking between the tread gapa and loosing air. The cracking was so bad the cars tires had to be aired every couple days. This cracking caused uneven wear. I took it back to fix under it's warranty the wanted to put used tires on my van plus charge 40 to mount and balance. If I wanted new tires they would give me a credit under the warranty of 37.00 per tire and charge me another 500 for goodyears. The tires are substandard and their insurance warranty is garbage and not worth paying extra for. They do not have an alignment machine and vehicles should be aligned after new tire install. Even with 1st chance having my vehicle records showing my cars alignment readings of perfect and the rotations every 2500 miles They refused to stand behind the goods they sold me even though I had the insurance. Just do yourself a favor go and spend your money with a reputable company that stands behind what they sell. Firestone and 1st chance would never pull garbage like this. I purchase tires monthly for my inventory and this place will never touch another one of my cars again. Dealers talk amongst themselves and I will not recommend this place to other dealers nor my customers. read more

I wish I could give them 100 stars! These guys have helped me more times than I can remember. I'm not a wealthy man, and they have NEVER treated me like anything but their number one priority. The customer service is absolutely outstanding, and Victor and Brian bent over backwards to keep my family safe and get us back on the road. I won't go in to details, but they aren't just selling tires, they have a genuine concern for your safety. I will always be a loyal customer, haven't gone anywhere else since the first time I stopped in, and I won't EVER use anyone else. I was needing a set of tires for my truck, so I called around and got quotes. This place said they would beat anyone's price so when they turned out to be the next to lowest, I called them back and they gave me a slightly lower price. So I made an appointment to have the tires installed. They said they didn't have them in stock, but could have them the next morning. I was going out-of-state and could not bring my truck in the next morning, so I made the appointment for a week later, which was this morning. When I took the truck in to have them installed, they did not have the tires, gave me some excuse about an employee leaving. Bottom line is they failed to order the tires. Terribly disappointing! What kind of system do they have when they have an appointment on the books to install over $1000 worth of tires, but they just forgot to order them? Not good. read more
