Short story: HIGHLY recommend this discount tire. Can't beat their customer service, their professionalism and their speedy service!!! Long story: I recently put a lift on my Jeep and have been shopping around for new wheels and tires for a few months now. Honestly, I am truly grateful that I decided to stop by Discount Tire. The service I received was super fast & very meticulous. On top of that, all of the staff I interacted with there were professional and nice. However, Jordan took customer service to a whole new level, making my experience not only smooth and easy, but fast and enjoyable! He took his time as I indecisively looked at pictures of wheels he showed me. He explained the details of the machinery on the wheels and helped me understand everything I needed to know the make the right pick. Ultimately, I ended up ordering wheels and tires from discount tire solely because of Jordan and his ability to be personable. I really tried to give this location a try because in the past I've been a very loyal customer to discount tire and have only purchased through them but unfortunately I'll be looking elsewhere. I've come to this location a total of 3 times now and leave upset almost everytime. The first time I wasted an hour in line waiting for air in my tires then left because I was barely getting anywhere at this point but I understand it can be busy so I left because I had to return back to work since my breaks are only an hour long. Then I returned the next week after calling and asking when is a good time to come to get in and out, well last Monday I wasted my entire lunch break again getting air in my tires ( was not in an out took an hour for air) . Well this time I got the air and asked how to schedule an appointment to get my tires rotated. Well I scheduled it a few days in advanced I asked to assure I would be able to get serviced within an hour since I work 2 minutes from here. So I left work came 5 minutes early for my appointment and then they tell me it's going to take at least an hour ( if not more) for them to just start on my car. My question is why have appointments then? As a teacher I have to find someone to come cover my break during a specific time so if I have appointments I make sure to get the hour covered, and I rushed out to ensure I wasn't late. I wouldn't go through all of the stress of leaving and rushing here to be told they can even see me during my appointment time. So if you want to waste your time then come here but if you like to have scheduled appointments and ensure you are seen during your promised time save the hassle and go elsewhere. read more

Off-Roaders, rejoice! Look no further! Robby and his team went way further than any company I spoke with when it came to wheels and tires. I checked with Desert Rat, SDHQ, Doetsch Off-road, Trailbuilt.com... 37" tires are harder to come by then I was expecting. Having a Jeep, I needed 5 complete sets. Furthermore, a new DOT compliant bead-lock style wheel just released in the market that baffled all but I person I spoke with at all those shops. I just needed the tires. Robby at this Discount Tire on the corner of Warner and McClintock in Tempe impressed the heck out of me. Robby first tried to find the 5 tires I needed all over the country. Out of curiosity, he asked me about the wheels. I already had it in my mind that Discount Tire wouldn't be able to help me because of the type of wheel I was looking for. I gave Robby the part number and told me he was going to look into it. He also informed me he was going to check with the tire manufacturer to check on any availability of the tires I wanted. Robby actually called me back the same day! To this day, none of the other shops have called me back. Robby did all the research on the wheels and confirmed he would be able to get them done for me plus beat the prices of all the other shops I spoke with! Robby had to orchestrate tires coming from different states because there weren't five tires all in one place. He even kept me posted along the way. We discussed the assembly and logistics when I finally went in... Shop guys typically brush off people trying to speak with them about THIER business. Robby was completely genuine, professional and open to my input. I am so impressed with the level of customer service here. The entire team working when I went in were all genuinely nice people. That's hard to come by when it comes to automotive shops. I am so thankful for Robby and his team. It was like a breath of fresh air. Was great service from JP. Very attentive and polite. Thankfully my car was returned and tire was repaired as promised.

I went in with a flat, asked for a fix or replace. Some manager guy with a chipper voice and a fake smile looked at the tires, said I needed to replace both fronts and quoted me at close to $400. I declined. I had just purchased the tires a year prior, he didn't know that til he looked in the system. He said it was because I hadn't rotated them, but they had 8500 miles on them so it wasn't dire. I declined again. He made it sound like I was being dangerous and tried to make me feel bad about not purchasing new tires to replace my one year old tires. I asked a few of the other employees if this sounded like a necessity and they said no. I have photos of the wear on my tires and they are not "in need of replacing" according to everyone I asked at Costco. read more

They fixed my tire as needed. However , I'm not sure this is coincidence or not but right after i left the tire shop, I had two of my rim covers fall off and all but one of the other bolts on the other two fall out. It pains me to write this. I had a good experience up until they called to tell me my tires had arrived. During the phone conversation I asked if they were busy "no" we can get you in right away. Great how long will it take? Hour or less. Great I'll be there in 5 minutes, I arrived in 6 minutes and saw a packed parking lot and full bays. I asked yet again are you sure you can get it done in an hour? Yep, shouldn't be a problem. Great. After EXACTLY one hour my truck hadn't moved. Just as I was getting up to ask for a refund someone ran to my truck and pulled it into the bay. After being there for an excess of 90 minutes I saw a trend in their answers. "Be about an hour"was said over and over. The good news it's the last set of tires I will ever have to buy for this truck. I will never never shop here again. read more

THEY BROKE MY DRIVERS SIDE HANDLE. I took my car to get new tires and left with a broken inside drivers side handle. I was not told the staff broke anything on my car and had to find out when I got home and couldn't get out of my car... The front office staff was nice and helpful but whoever worked on my car must've locked themselves in the car and tried ripping the handle off to get out. I came here today after trying another Discount Tire that had a three hour delay for service... I had a screw in my tire and I needed to get it fixed so that I can go up North with my son to get him to summer camp in time. I went into the lobby and I told the clerk that greeted me my situation and I explained that I didn't buy my tires there, he said that he could get me right in and get it taken care of immediately and there would be no charge as long as I would consider buying my tires from Discount the next time. True to his word they had me in and out of there in about 30 minutes and everybody I encountered was super friendly and helpful. Came here to get my tired filled up and was informed I had a nail in my rear tire and they could fix it for free. I then go inside and talk to someone else and was already asked to buy 3 things that I didn't need. The guy says if they cant fix it what do i want them to do with it, bolt the tire back on, replace with a brand new? and we told him that our financing company will replace a whole new tire if that was necessary and to just try and fix it, after he tried to convince us that our financing company was probably lying and i ensured him i definitely know the perimeters of my contract with them, he walks off and pushes open his door very hard and yells to an employee that they need to stop putting on a brand new tire, because i guess he had pre planned to just not fix my hole and charge me 100$? nice try. read more

Amazing service!!! I'm from out of town & got a flat tire while passing through. I took my vehicle to this discount tire. They happened to be sold out of the tires that I had on my vehicle. The staff quickly came up with a solution & were able to order a tire that was almost identical to the ones I already had, ship it to the store & get it on my vehicle in the same day so that I was able to get back on the road. They were super busy and told us they could look at it in 45 minutes. We went back and they took it in immediately, plugged and patched the tire at no charge! Just wanna say I really feel like this specific discount tire location is dishonest. I may be wrong but hear me out. Firstly one day they told me my spare tire is hopeless and so I need to "buy" a new one...and that apparently a spare is more expensive so I need to buy an extra real tire instead. Took it to my dad and he literally adjusted it and just put air and walaa it's been good ever since. Today I go in to get my tire checked cuz it gets low sometimes, I wanted another opinion, Goodyear auto shop told me at two different times there is nothing apparently wrong with it and to just change all the tires in like 2 months. Today right off the bat he told me my tires are all hopeless and I must change them all rn or I'm putting peoples lives in danger in front of everyone there....very shady and manipulative I don't trust this place anymore. read more

I rolled in here this morning on my spare after hitting something in the road last night and completely demolishing the side wall of a tire. I knew I was also due for a new set of tires in the next 6 months or so, but didn't expect to be forced into the decision. Sure, tire places can sell you tires and change them and send you on your way. I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the exceptional service I received at every step. Dustin was particularly friendly on the phone, at the counter, and when inspecting all my tires. Also, as customers started stacking up in the Saturday morning, several Discount workers behind the desk (and mechanics passing through!) would take the time to let those of us waiting in line that they valued our patience and appreciated us waiting. They were all genuine, and as a customer service manager, I know these behaviors are not common and deserve to be recognized. I've always appreciate the warranty Discount offers on their tires and never had a particularly bad experience, but this location was a bit more pleasant than others I've been to and it's because of the great staff. Prices are decent, but deception is through the roof. I took my car to this location to get air and was told there was a nail in my tire and I would just need a repair. I didn't have time to wait that day. Scheduled an appointment and took it back a few days later to be told the tire can't be repaired, but a new one would only cost me $XXX - left disappointed and drove directly to another shop where the technician not only repaired the tire in 10 minutes, he showed me exactly what was being fixed and how. read more

My first trip into this location was to figure out what was going wrong with my TPMS sensors. The salesman who i spoke with suggested that I replace all four sensors because he was unable to determine which of my current sensors was going bad. I asked the salesman to make me an apt for the same time the following Monday. Before I left this store the salesman went to check to see if they had all four sensors in stock for my car. He said they did in fact have all four sensors and would put these for sensors aside for me. Monday comes and I arrive at this location 10 mins before my apt. I meet with a different salesman and we proceed to go out to my car. The salesman gets the information that he needs from my car and we go back into the building where the salesman then tells me the price to replace all 4 sensors. I pay for the sensors and I then wait for my car to be to finished with the new sensors. After an hour I notice that my car comes out from the service area and is then parked on a parking spot. The tech that installed my sensors did not call out my name. I walk up to the counter to where the salesmen are and the salesman who helped me explained to me that they could only install 3 out of the 4 sensors. The salesman then suggested that he could call 3 other stores close to this store to see if they had an extra sensor and if they could get me in. I asked the salesman if he could call the store that I had said that was the next closet store that was close to my house. He called and then informed me that, that store was busy and their was a 2 hour wait. I made the decision to tell the salesman to make an apt for me for the following morning to have the 4th sensor installed. If I had known that this location did not have all 4 sensors I would have waited until they did have all four sensors in. I have been going to this location for several years now and unfortunately this is the first time that this experience has left me thinking should I take my business to another location. read more
