Extraordinary service! On my blowout on 217, my roadside service (i LOOSELY refer to it ...) grrr they never even called me after an HOUR??? Its thru Wawanesa and they have a sister co - i highly do not recommend them! Anywho, this nice young man finally pulled over to help. I had asked for an "angel" and 2 minutes later he stopped #answeredprayer !!! So not only was he a nice young man ... TURNS OUT he works for Discount Tire and was kind enuf to stop! He didnt even work at the one close by just stopped to be a good samaritan! He got me changed in five fast mins! I drove up to the 99 Discount Tires, very shaken, it was a bad blowout. They were SO kind and patient and gave me the best advice, in particular bc I needed a matching Michelin bc of all wheel drive. They ordered from their warehouse which they got the next am. It was fast to get on and such great customer service. I love that man salesman went iut and measured my tire tread to make sure one tire would be ok to replace! How smart. Circus... you walk in or you have an appointment. New tires or repair get ready for terrible treatment, not clear on wait time, other customers arrives with you or after you will leave before you ... sure you can ask what's the matter and you'll get the bullshit "sorry" it cant be hard to run a tire shop... but it's easy to screw it up and pick and chose you service first, all they have to say " these other customers have appointments" Terrible service, and even worse customer service. read more

I was driving in "epic" rain when my car computer indicated I was having tire issues. I was two hours into a five hour trip and I was alone (I am female) and needed some help. As I came north on I5 I asked Siri to find me a tire company and she found Discount Tires in Tigard, OR. When I arrived, it was so crowded there was no place to park. I had to wait a few minutes, then parked and went inside - only to find about 15 people in the building. I stood in line to get to tell my story, and when I walked up to the counter - Tony listened to me and said "the alerts might have come on because of all the temperature changes. Give me your keys and I will check your tire pressure really quick." Really quick was less then 10 minutes; he said they were all about 29 psi, he added a little more air to them but that I should be able to continue my journey (which was to a work event). He would not take payment and parked my car right outside the store door so I didn't get soaked....though he was! What might have been the worst part of my day - and my trip, turned out to be the best. I did not expect that kind of quick, courteous treatment. Thank you Tony - you made my day! read more

Got a flat tire this morning in Lincoln City OR as we were getting ready to leave to go back home to Seattle Got service from my insurance company and then looked at the closest discount tire we could stop on our way to WA state. I have had all my tires changed at discount tire and once again wasn't disappointed. After driving at 40mph from the coast I got great customer service and had my tire fixed free of charge I will buy a full size tire as a spare at discount tire and will always recommend this company to anyone. Amazing example of above -and-beyond service. After a tire blow out on the highway, I realized the spare I'd received at a Discount Tire in Texas was was the wrong size, I had to get my car towed back to my house. I came in to this location with the blowout and the faulty spare. Tony, the store manager, was understanding and apologetic. Replaced the busted tire, and the spare all for free, and only charged me $15 for warranty on the new tire. Very satisfied customer here! read more

Anyone looking for an experienced tire place for a great price, Discount Tire is the place!!! Great customer service, lowest prices (all included), quick installs, clean facility, and you get post installation perks. Discount tire, in addition to many standard post install services, also do winter/summer tire sensor reprogramming if you own two sets of wheels/tires and they each have TPMS. MCKENZIE helped me out on the day of service and he was great! He made a recommendation on a different tire that would be better for my car. This wasn't an upscale, the price difference was negligible ($12 total). Because of these reasons I'll recommend Discount Tire and come back here next time. read more

We purchased new (expensive) tires, along with a road hazard warranty, for my wife's Lexus from Tigard Discount Tire. The car was put into storage as we had a extended trip. The tires maybe had 4,ooo miles on them. My wife had to fly home due to a family emergency and needed to use her car. While at a service station, she was told that one tire looked odd. There was a piece of rubber about 1.0 by 1.5 inches missing from the sidewall. She took it into Discount Tire because she was worried about the tire. She was told not to drive the car because it was not safe. She wondered about replacing the tire but was told it would take 10 to 14 days to get a replacement tire delivered. She was in town for a few days and couldn't be without a safe car so she went to a competitor for a tire replacement. They charged her $450 for one tire. Seems like Discount Tire doesn't like to honor road hazard warranties, and telling a customer they can't get a tire in a timely matter gets them off the hook for honoring a warranty. With all the Discount Tire stores around they couldn't find the correct tire in a warehouse or at another Discount Tire store in a timely manner? I would not shop at Discount Tire again, and by the way, their tires are no longer competitively priced. read more

For a while, I didn't trust my tires and I was visiting about once a week to get my pressure checked and they were always kind and helpful. We always stop by pre-road trip for a quick pressure check and have purchased our tires here a number of times. They were also able to install some new tires we purchased elsewhere. Hit the curb while making a right turn, apparently hard enough to rip a hole in a month old, new Michelin Defender tire. These guys were fast to schedule online for next day service (probably could do same day service, if early enough in the day), and I waiting less than an hour for a filled center (all stations were occupied). They followed Covid19 protocols (masked, hand sanitizer stations, social distanced seating in high ceiling waiting room). I would recommend and would use them again. read more

Awesome tire shop! I have purchased my personal tires from the Discount Tire in Beaverton, but this location was much closer for our work vehicles. I will never buy tires anywhere else! These guys are great: they know their stuff, they explain things perfectly and don't make me feel like "some chick" that walked in. I went into this store after running over a curb and having one of my tires blow out. I cannot recommend this store to anyone because, while they replaced my tires, they sent me on my way without alerting me to a number of startling issues that any mechanic should notice: broken wheel bearings/rods, worn discs and a brake pedal that just sank to the floor - the car could barely stop. read more

Parking lot is awkward and small. Often there is no where we may need to park. I counted at least three cars pulling into the parking lot and having to turn around due to no parking. Customer service is hit or miss. There were three of us in line today, I was in the middle. A gentleman working, Patrick, did not even look up or approach any of us or say will be right with you for at least five minutes. In past, others have been more friendly. There is ALWAYS a line when I go in. When I first got my tires, they forgot to put some Doohickey back on it. I had to come back. They did not seem very apologetic. OK, I'm back for tire rotation and inspection. My appointment was at 11:30. I checked in at 11:26. I was told to be prepared to be here for 45 min to 1 hour. Seems like awhile for a scheduled tire rotation and inspection? Also, my car was not brought back to be worked on until 1149. Why make appt? Next tire purchase will be Les Schwab. Addendum: I will give Cameron 5/5 for his service! He noticed I was "missing" 4 tire locks (?). Well, as above, these tires are brand new and have never been serviced elsewhere. They were probably not out on in the first place? He tracked some down and ordered them for me :) read more

Just another 5 star rating. Not! I am a grumpy 70 year old driver that has made the rounds. I hate anything having to do with auto repair of any kind. I moved to Portland three years ago and needed a set of tires. I didn't know anyone so I went to Yelp and found this shop. Wow! These are great kids that run a great shop. I am a convert. Now you need to know that I drive my Jeep hard and take it to the barn wet. They sold me a great set of tires three years ago and a better set of wheels a year later. No one came close to the price or the service. Every time I take this vehicle in for tire service it is right now and the guys always make me feel like I am the priority. Am I happy with Discount Tire. Les Schwab refused to dismount and remount/rotate my front tires on my Dodge pickup because my Michelin Heavy Duty LTX tires they claimed were 'weathered', the idea being I should get new Chinese tires from them because of liability fears. BULL! Discount Tire went right to work and did the needed work in record time, even taking time to get a bucket and soap to wash the sidewalls, of what had been the inside sidewall, so the tires would look nice. The charges were lower than expected. How often does that happen? read more

Ordered a set of four brand new tires for my car as I was in desperate need of new tires. My car was pulling to the left due to my tires being uneven on the tread. Ordered the tires, booked the appointment, and paid all online which earned me a rebate for the set of four tires. Showed up to my appointment and they got all four replaced within the 45 min time table I was given. Pretty painless process, good price for the tires. I noticed a nail in my tire sidewall so stopped by to ask if it needed fixed or replace. Unfortunately, I had to replace 2 tires on my Outback. They did not have the two tires in stock so they said they would order them and call me when they arrived. When I had not heard from them in 5 days I called to learn that they didn't have them so others would need to be ordered and they would call me when they were in. I waited a few days and called them and was told they had just arrived so I went in to have them put on. They told me it would take an hour and my car was ready before then.
