My husband has gone elsewhere for his tires. He was with me for this repair and even he was impressed, which takes a lot to impress him. We will bring our cars here in the future. Not pleased with this location at all. I bought a full set of new tires Saturday by Wednesday I had one blow out on the 294. Super scary thought I was gonna lose control of my car and die. I initially waited for an hour and a half to get my tires the first time around. I return to get the one blown out tire replaced and they tell me it will be another hour and a half wait. I'd called in advance told them about the situation a nice guy named Josh was super apologetic and told me he set a tire aside for me, come in as soon as I can and he would take care of me pronto. When I got there Josh wasn't there, some ass clown named Caesar was the worst most awful person I could've encountered. When I questioned the long wait time and relayed to him my conversation with Josh and how much of an inconvenience this had been, his response was 'its not like I blew out your tire ma'am' Are you serious??? I wanted to slap him across the face, you don't realize that it possibly could be your fault if somebody has a blowout 3 days after getting a tire from you. I hate this location and the way they treat paying customers. I'd rather go elsewhere and pay more than get faulty tires and spoken down to. read more

My experience at this Discount Tire was beyond amazing. Scott was absolutely awesome and helped me in every way he could. They were one of the only tire stores in Illinois that had my exact tires so they could've played hard ball knowing they were a rare commodity. I would not recommend going to this place, or any other discount tire for that matter as they are all the same. . I replaced all my tires at the Westmont store over the weekend. The place was very busy but I contributed that to "black Friday" or holiday weekend. They got my car in after about 45 min wait, another 45 minutes to get the tires on. In between I heard shop supervisor yelling that it was taking too long. Maybe it wouldn't, but the " young boys" they have working there were passionately chatting about something. Finally my car was done. Before i left the parking lot I noticed that my tire pressure sensor on one tire was showing 0 pressure and it was flashing. Was annoyed that they didn't see that pulling out. Took it back, was told they will have to recheck what the code was. Took the tire off and found a cracked sensor I guess during replacement or installation of a new tire. OK, at least they fixed it and i finally left. Next day i decided to wash my car especially wheels as now they had finger prints all over. I noticed 2 of my rear rims had scratches and rub marks i guess from mounting tools. I am disappointed as i spent $950.00 on these tires and they look great on now damaged rims. Fast speedy service and young boys earning low wages = sub par workmanship. These guys are fantastic! Brought in my Lexus GS350 that has set of Michelin Premiers bought here last fall. Low miles. Got in car this morning and right rear pressure was 22. Took it right over and they got me in and repaired leak due to nail embedded in less than 90 minutes. Faster than promised. And they were slammed with customers. No charge either. The level of customer service you get at this place is amazing. There is nothing "discount" about this place other than the prices. The guy before me getting a free safety check was told "you don't need new tires, but you will in about 6 months. See you then." When have you ever heard that? All the guys in the shop were working their butts off, and I was out of there in 40 minutes with 4 new tires. The store was extremely clean, with comfy waiting chairs and free coffee/bottled water. Tires are good and of course their lifetime service. However, they force you to get TPMS which is unnecessary. I wanted to refuse that but he insisted and said will throw it for "free" if I buy a certificate. I bought the certificate because in the past I have had damage to side walls several times. What I didn't notice until I came back home was an absolutely unnecessary "lifetime spin and balancing" for $16x4 = $64. This was a ripoff. Thing is, rather than asking me what you want to buy, he just showed me the screen to look at the items. there were so many that I didn't notice, this is something I could dispute. Just be aware of what they are including in your price and question everything. Other than that everything is good. read more

These guys make me wish my tires were messed up more often (Not really, but you get the point) Scott greeted me upon arrival and immediately came out to inspect my vehicle. I had told him there was a nail in my tire, and they got right to work. Because I had purchased tires in the past from them, they patched my punctured tire, rotated and cleaned all of the tires, at no charge. They also made me aware of a second puncture on the same tire, that would have otherwise gone unnoticed, also fixed for free. I had my all four tires for my Mercedes 25000 miles back with tires to last "upto 50000" miles with all their warranties and tire rotation. I went today for tire rotation and was told that my tires have worn out (to me it looks good). Now they want to put in new tires or they wouldn't rotate tires although I have purchased the tire rotation package they will not rotate and that tire model is out of service so I have to buy new make and pay for that and get a 25000 mile credit. I find it a false advertising on their part for selling all services and then turn around and say we will not do tire rotation unless you buy new tires. They can ask me for a waiver if they are concerned about safety but to deny a service I prepaid is out right unfair business practice. read more

Never written a review on here before but I am inspired by the service I've received here and felt I owed them a great review. First, the store is very clean and well organized. There is no dirty furniture or dust on hard surfaces. Heck, no smudges on the interior glass looking out to the parking lot. Everything appears well-kept and organized. Second, the service is outstanding. The staff is extremely friendly. I purchased some expensive/high-performance tires back in June, 2012. I phoned in my order and because the tires are an odd size and rather rare, I had to wait for them to arrive. As soon as they arrived, I was called and my new summer tires were mounted and balanced. The tech I spoke with was extremely knowledgeable about both my old set of tires as well as my new. I would say my knowledge of tires is well above average and the tech still knew more than me despite my months of research. Third, the prices are great. They are definitely willing to work with you. I was quoted a price long before going to the store and that was just as winter was ending and summer tires were cheap. When I went to have the tires mounted, the price I was quoted was ~$30+ per tire. I told them about my earlier quote and without hesitation the tech said, "Ok. We can do that for you." I went in a week ago to have a flat looked at that sat in my spare tire bay. Tech asked, "Haven't I seen you before?" and remember my tires and car.... very impressive. He then examined the tire and wanted to check it out for sidewall damage. Unfortunately, I was in a rush and there was a two hour wait (Yeah, they get busy... No wonder). I came back today and because of a cheap plug job from a body shop, it was determined that my tire was unsafe to drive on. Instead of saying, "You should have bought our insurance," the tech told me that I could buy the insurance for all four tires and the one that is flat would then be covered under that. I figured, why not? It's cheaper than paying ~$280 for a new tire and I still get my new tire plus the peace of mind of driving four insured tires. This place is the epitome of respectable and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone - friends, relatives, siblings, parents, strangers, F1 drivers. read more

Nope! Take my 5 stars back! First of all, if you don't wait there for like an hour or so while your car is in the shop, be prepared that they will take people in and put them before you. Went there when it was not busy, came back an hour and 15 min later, my car still at the parking spot I left it and when I asked how much longer it would take, the guy told me there were 3 more cars before me. So I had to take a rain check and come back. Went back again yesterday, this time I waited. An hour or so, I expected the wait so it's no big deal. Got tires and rims done, not bad...until I started driving it and felt very strange. Went and checked tire pressure, very messed up. All 4 should be at 32, but they put 35 on both front tires, rear right 42, rear left 28. HA HA HA. ALSO, broke one of my sensor, said they replaced it and programmed it. LIES! How did this place become something like this now it's beyond me. read more

I had this location rebalance my car's 2 front tires. Car was shaking over 50 plus. Did not solve the issue. I called a location close to my work. Explained the issue. They asked how old my tires are? I was not sure. I gave the sales rep. the DOT #. Found out the tires are from the 32 week of 2004. He was not sure why they service tires that old (12 years) going on saying they company is not service a tires over 10 years old. I will be contacting corporate next. read more

have gotten 2 sets of tires from these guys. Love their service. Great prices and free tire rotation for the life of the tire. They get me in and out quickly (unless you make the mistake of getting there 30 minutes after the store opens on Saturday -- then you'll have to WAIT) and never try to up sell me -- though they always try to sell the tire siping service which can be easily refused.
