The transformation over the past 18 months is beyond words. She has fallen in love with learning and is an absolute sponge taking it all in. She was reading at 3rd grade level after Kindergarten, and socially has blossomed from a once very soft spoken, shy and somewhat timid child, to a kind hearted, loving young girl surrounded by a classroom of friends ranging from 5-8 years old who help bring out her self confidence, assurance and the affirmation needed to be free to express herself. She is now recognized as a Lakeside Leader, a program designed to mentor the younger children and help them overcome their fears and anxieties at a new school. This has been the best experience for our child and us. We have attended other schools before, but found this one to be the one our child enjoys the most. The school follows the school districts' calendars and doesn't have other numerous staff days off, which helps us focus on our own work. The management and staff seem to all work together well, great vibes, and we haven't had one bad experience yet. The number of activities they put on for the kids is insane especially for the summer. It's such a fun, safe learning environment. Curriculum is blended Montessori with progress tracking. I appreciate this school so much and will be sad when we age out. My only wish is that the snacks and lunches were more whole foods, but this is minor compared to the entire experience that they offer and how much my child has learned and benefitted.

I also witnessed the teacher using a spray in classroom because there were ants there. This is against health code, kids can get sick because that stuff is poison.
