Okay when I get multiple recommendations from people about anyplace I just have to check it out! My wife is a bit of a " Burger Snob" and we were told they have a Great Burger! So it is around the corner from the DMV,and they have a couple others, and their sister bar is " Remedy's". Place is pretty cool with; cool art on the walls, plenty of tv's, pool tables and gaming! Place was open, clean and has several areas of seating. Our server Abigale was outstanding as we put her through the barrage of questions, that first timers do. Great selections on the cocktail menu, food menu and happy hour (2-6, am and pm) Food was REAL GOOD! And there are several items we will be back to try! Service is where they earned 5 with me! Our server was great, checked on us repeatedly without hovering! Answered all our questions with pleasure and made sure we were happy with the food! Bartenders were efficient and looked like they enjoyed working here! I dropped my fork during my meal, and a cook who was on break, enjoying his own food Jumped up immediately and picked it up and offered to get me a clean fork before I could get up to pick it up! Another server also checked on us during our meal. We were served with smiles and in a very timely fashion,and our server gave personal recommendations as to menu choices! Maybe you should have said hey we have addressed the problem and would really like your business back. But instead you have avoided the issue. The food might be pretty good, but it's not the cure for all of their woes. Distill is a local chain of bars that has recently expanded around town, resulting in this new and far more convenient outpost for Henderson folks. I received a flyer in the weekly ads in the mail, and my curiosity was piqued by the presence of a buy one, get one free offer. I finally used this coupon today along with a friend. This location is not really close to anything else of import in food or beverage, and navigation depends on your starting point because it's equally far from Gibson and Stephanie. I was able to spot their sign just fine coming from Gibson, and I also immediately figured out that they're on an elevated lot with its own parking area accessed from American Pacific, not from the small side street. Once inside, my friend and I were greeted and seated quickly after indicating our preference for a (high-top) table rather than the bar or the armchairs. We were able to order fairly quickly, but because I had selected a certain menu item, it would end up taking over half an hour to receive the order. This wasn't an issue because I was in any sort of hurry, but because I wasn't informed either by the menu or the server that it could take 30 minutes or more. Anyway, the food finally came out. The Cure ($10.95), a burger which I'd often heard over the years as being the best burger in town, ended up being pretty good, maybe even great. It's not amazing or by far the best though. The meat patty, a blend of beef and pork, was quite delicious and came cooked roughly to my requested medium; however, it does comes off as oversized, especially in comparison to the supposed "brioche" bun that couldn't hold everything together. I agree with the saying that hunger is the best sauce, but despite being quite hungry, I wasn't blown away. The burger came with a side, and naturally I gravitated to the fries. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed. Yes, I know that I can add salt, but they were undersalted. On top of that, the crispy texture wasn't the right feel, and the interior lacked any fluffy character. I'm pretty sure that most fast food places produce better fries. And as a note on the sides, they need to edit the menu to make it clear that certain items come at a +$1 premium, such as my friend's fries, or have the server confirm the choice. Yes, this is exactly the same issue as the wait time for The Cure, but it annoys me enough that I have to harp on it again. I also had a taste of my friend's Western Bacon Burger ($10.50). I wasn't wowed by the onion rings, but the other ubiquitous ingredients were fine. There were also lettuce and tomato on the side, which my friend would've appreciated actually being placed in the burger but which I now recall aren't typical ingredients in a Western Bacon. The main problem here was that his "medium rare" came out as more of a medium well. It still tasted fine, but I'm certain that it could've been even better. The other overarching problem is that their ventilation here sucks. I was sitting at least 20 feet away from any other patrons who might've been smoking cigarettes, but I was still getting a nose-full of the stench every time. Never mind the health impact of secondhand smoke, that's just going to detract from the flavor of the food each and every time. If you want a counterpoint, just walk into the bar at nearby Henry's American Grill when it's busy and notice how it doesn't smell of smoke unless you're sitting right next to someone. That's how you should run a smoking establishment. I'll probably be back to Distill occasionally when I decide that I want to try some different burgers or other potentially interesting options, but I can't say that I'm a fan based on my meal today. At least they have a lot of room for improvement. And for me personally, maybe review #1200 will be more memorable than #1100. read more

Went to the bar with a friend and I couldn't sit at a seat that ha a gambling machine. That's fine but every other seat has one, so one of you is forced to gamble or sit at a table. The machine didn't even have a reserved for gambling sign like some other ones. So you either have to sit at a table (If I wanted that I'd go to a restaurant not a bar) or one of your party of 2 is forced to gamble. I Ended up going to to the Ace's bar down the street with better prices and service. read more

Had a bartender lastnight around 9 pm and i don't know his name because he didn't introduce him self also was very rude and stand offish. Service was trash. The drinks are very basic. Even the server admitted they don't have anything special. Don't expect anything off their menu nor any types of liquor aside from the very standard. Service is subpar. From what I gathered, this is just a 24 hour joint where you can go sit on a chair and pass time to very standard drinks and bar food. They do have some pool tables, TVs to watch sports, and a bartender to serve basic drinks. If that's your jam, head on over. I've now officially been to all the Distills. This one is in a unique industrial area in Henderson. It's got a lot of seating,, plenty of beer options and they even have Truly on tap. The service is good. Unfortunately the gaming promos aren't the same as the other Distills. Another bummer is we cane here on a day when the heater went out. One to none STARS for the bartender, SPENCER working tonight 9/12/19 around 11pm. He made my group of friends feel SO unwelcome I can't believe that this type of rude customer service still exists?! He was literally shaking his head and had weird facials and gave off rude vibes when my friends and I walked in and when we were singing along to the songs playing overhead. He was basically talking s/hit about my group of friends and made us feel totally unwelcome! My friend watched him from our table as he was shaking his head while we had fun and conversed at our table. Like really?! The place was DEAD until my lively, FUN group of friends walked in! Yeah, you're welcome... we gave you business! Wow. Keep in mind, it's not like my group of friends were being drunk and obnoxious... yes, we may have came off as a loud group because it was SO quiet and empty inside with only 5 other patrons. I ordered this a few weeks ago and meant to leave a review sooner because the girl working that brought out the food was amazingly friendly and gave me a few recommendations to try next time. My daughter loved the fingers and the guiness burger waa delicious. The fries were a bit soggy by the time i got home but that seems to be an issue everywhere i go(except applebees who have their fries in a cardboard cup which seems to keep em more resilient from the steam) i look forward to trying more here!! read more

Now, I haven't physically visited this location yet, but my husband has and he loves it. We are big fans of Distill and used to frequent the one in Southern Highlands since my in-laws used to live over there. Since they've moved, we've been craving their food and drinks. Luckily, we saw not too long ago that one was opening down the street from us. How lucky are we?! We ordered some food for delivery and opted for the fried mozzarella and buffalo cauliflower to start. Their mozzarella has the best flavor and is served with a side of their incredible marinara sauce. Everything is seasoned to perfection. I'm not normally a lover of spicy foods either, but their buffalo cauliflower is one of my favorites in Vegas. Their ranch is so creamy and smooth and is perfectly paired with the fire-y bites! For dinner, my husband has his favorite BBQ brisket grilled cheese and I had the Southwestern Chicken Salad. My husband is obsessed with brisket and swears they have some of the best in Vegas. Brisket is not totally my thing, but I trust him ha! My salad was pretty good as well, but quite basic when it comes to Southwestern Salads. I can't wait to visit this bar in real life soon! I feel like Distills have been popping up all over Vegas. My friends and I stopped by for a quick bite, but we were generally underwhelmed. As a vegetarian, there were few options to choose from. I settled on the veggie burger and fries. It was okay--nothing more or less. The whole experience just moved very slowly, from being greeted by a waitress to getting our check. This would've been understandable, but we were one of four occupied tables in the whole restaurant. The waitress was very nice and attentive, it just seemed like there was no urgency at all in the service. Our meal took about an hour and a half altogether. To me, that seems pretty long, especially given that we didn't order drinks, appetizers, or dessert. I really wanted to love Distill, especially since they're showing up across town. Overall, I would've appreciated a more varied menu and quicker service. read more

So we ordered through Postmates tonight around 9:30pm, received our food at 10:15 which is fine. We were so excited to give this try a place because the pictures on YELP seemed so yummy (I made the mistake of not reading the reviews). Once we opened the containers the first thing we noticed was my sons 90's burger was a western bacon cheeseburger, which he cannot eat bbq sauce. So I took the burger and took 2-3 bites and just tossed it in the trash. The patty which we ordered medium well was hard and burnt. The bread was hard. Fries were decent. On to the carne asada street tacos- at first glance I wasn't sure if we read it wrong and got tostadas instead of tacos, but no we read it right... tacos... which the taco shells were so hard that's why it looked like tostadas. So we attempt to bite into and it was so hard to even chew so we just ate the inside filling which wasn't bad.... but we ordered tacos not taco salad. Country fried chicken sliders.. bread was hard, chicken was dry... So we reached out to Postmates which we spent 47 dollars and requested a refund. They didn't give us a refund but a 7.37 adjustment that had to be used by 1.16.2019- yay us!!!! So that was sarcasm in case you didn't catch it. All in all we are hungry and had to make my son chicken nuggets... Let's start with the preview - I ordered on Postmates around 1am on a Friday night while I was hanging at home with the boyfriend and we were caught off guard while checking out the menu on the Postmates app. Everything. Sounded. So. Good. Think of bar food but elevated in various ways. They've got your classic wings and burgers, but if you want a 10oz filet, go for it, or maybe a shrimp stir fry? How does mashed potato bites sound as an appetizer, or avocado egg rolls? The menu initially caught our attention for a 24 hr bar but when we actually received our Postmates order we were hooked. I got the blackened chicken club which was probably the best sandwich I've had in quite a while. I usually can't eat a whole meal in one sitting and this one disappeared faster than I could actually think of how good it was. Sourdough, avocado, lettuce, tomato, bacon and blackened chicken... don't pass this one up. Boyfriend ordered a chicken ceaser wrap, and it's been the best one he's had to date since starting this ceaser wrap binge he's on. (He's ordered the same meal at about 5 different 24 hour spots already lol.) We realized that if they were this good through Postmates, we would have to stop in and try the food out at the bar. So Saturday, the next night, literally... the next night, we ended up here for a late dinner. We opted for the mashed potato bites that comes with a chipotle sour cream and these were definitely satisfying! For our meals we stuck to "the usual" chicken caeser wraps (yes, it was that good the night before) and I decided to go for sweet potato fries as the side for mine. Our bartender, Spencer, mentioned trying maple syrup with the fries and I don't think I'll ever be a ranch type of girl again.. syrup + sweet potato fries = every sweet and savory dream come true. Another bartender working mentioned their maple sour cream so of course we had to test that out too. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed! The environment is inviting, service is great and the bartenders are friendly (thanks Spencer!), they've got a few pool tables and high tops if you're not into the bar seating, electronic jukebox and bar top gaming of course. You really can't top that combination. Distill has got the equation all figured out for a great locals spot. We're looking forward to making this a new regular hangout for our weekends. Anyone ever had a green, mermaid looking French Dip? Me neither... because I just put it in the trash.. The 2 stars is for the deep fried oreos, even though they weren't funfetti as the menu suggested. I ordered from Door Dash at 9:53 and the estimated delivery was for 10:22 - 10:32. I saw the driver at Distill around 10:15 and didn't leave until after 10:35. The order got here at 10:52. So it took an hour for 2.2 miles and 30 min longer than the estimate. I'm not sure if the driver was waiting on another order or if the restaurant was backed up so it's hard to "place blame." The Oreos- cold, soggy and greasy, but I can imagine them being great, when fresh. Was probably not the best thing to order for delivery. The ice cream it came with was mostly melted. The French Dip- see pics. Went directly into the trash. Not only was it green and shiny but looked incredibly dry. The roll felt hard. I didn't even want to eat anything else thinking their kitchen let this go out. The Waffle- Another item we probably shouldn't order as take out. It was cold and soggy. The butter was in the bottom of the bag and melted so there's that. The baked potato bites- edible, but nothing amazing and I love potatoes. Seems like they have decent flavor. Lesson learned not to order some of these items togo and probably never from here again. I'll stick to a liquid diet from Distill. read more

What do you expect, it's a bar! Based off of other reviews I definitely expected more, though. If you don't want to smell like smoke, avoid this place. The Caesar was decent, but the avocado egg rolls were gross. Nothing like the images they portray with fresh avocado, more like a smear that doesn't even fill the whole thing. The dipping sauce was not good. I wouldn't come back for a Caesar, but it's good if you're looking for a bar to hang out at and eat in the middle of the night! read more

What a great local place with really good food . I really liked the atmosphere , lots of draft beers , dark inside , cool tables with cozy chairs. They also have pool tables too. We ordered the avocado rolls and some cali flower bites , I was not expecting the food to be this good . The avocado appetizer blew me away how good it was . Awesome service too , fast and friendly, .. We found our new local hot spot , definitely give this place a try , you won't be disappointed. My boyfriend and I came here to play some pool and have a couple beers on Sunday afternoon. The staff was very friendly and the place is nice. We will not be back because the music that was playing was so vulgar and offensive. It was so loud and disgusting. Went for lunch. The 1 star is for the sweet potato fries. Ham-pimento cheese sandwich was overly salty and pretzel bun was obviously not fresh.
