I am only making this review about the food and specifically the wings. The wings are absolutely one of the worst meals I've ever had in my life. They do not season their wings before cooking them. They fry them and then just dump whatever sauce you ordered on top of them. They are the most tasteless, bland and rubbery wings I think I've ever had. I'm giving it two stars instead of one because staff is nice. Just do yourself a favor and don't order the chicken wings. read more

The manager, Miss Patel, truly ruined what could have been a great day at the District 850. I have contacted the district manager and owner, to no avail. The place used to be a very wonderful place before the current manager and staff (the bartender would not listen to me and assumed what I was ordering). Paid for the hyper lounge room in advance and was a complete waste of money. The waitress kept telling me that she would come back and take our order 3 times and never took our order. I would never recommend the hyper lounge to anyone. Keep your money and just do the regular bowling. I was so pissed because she waited on 2 other parties that had a lot more people in their group. Went as a small group to scope the place out and try some of the games. Had bad service, was fed bad information about the establishment and their "protocol", and then found out that if you put a card on file/start a tab they charge you. Weird situation but long story short my gf was trying to buy our drinks. I decided to cash out and pay for everything (with my card) before she could. So she never technically bought anything. The next day her card was charged $1 for literally nothing. There's more that happened but I'm sick of typing. Mediocre service at best and you're playing 18% for that regardless. We were told false information by an employee who also mentioned she was brand new which was annoying. We were annoyed because it looks nice and had lots to offer. Poor experience but be prepared for some nonsense. They need to clean it up a little in my opinion but maybe you'll love it. read more

Service is pretty terrible our server never brought our waters till after we where finished eating and never got ketchup or and silverware for me or my gf. I got the fished and they woke up in the middle of the night feeling super sick. Feels like food poisoning. Would be nice when you pay almost 200$ for games and dinner that I don't get sick and half the games are broken. Please understand you will spend a decent amount of money here and you'll have to chase down waiters to get get food or drinks cause they will walk rate past you. When you first arrive it is impressive, however once you take a closer look, it is very lack luster. The food is greasy and unimpressive. The service was horrible- they brought food out to the table but didn't bring napkins or utensils and forgot waters for everyone at the table. When I asked for some, we waited for over 20 minutes before I asked for a random staff member to get some for us. After we finished the dirty plate were left to stack up. The escape room is too short 20 minutes for an in the dark escape room. The arcade doesn't have a very good selection, and the ax throwing staff are not trained on how to help if you have never done it before. This is a great concept, but executed poorly read more

The food and drinks are a bit overpriced but the bowling is fun for a group setting. When it comes to the arcade DO NOT get the unlimited I feel as the front desk service failed to cover all pros and cons for the card. They informed us about it being unlimited for an hour and we can't play certain things like claw games and vr what they failed to say is that when swiped you can't pass the same card to a friend or family member you have to finish the game before swiping again, you don't get tickets on the card and you can't play the same game two times in a row. We went and played the unlimited reality which in my opinion was worth the price and actually really fun. read more

The ambiance here is quite lively. The arcade and ropes course is relatively small and seemingly targeted toward kids, but 850 makes up for that with the other options available for entertainment here, including the bowling alleys, laser tag, axe throwing, and bar. I thought this place was going to be a fun and inviting environment to eat food and play some games. I was surely mistaken this past summer as I saw one of the servers be treated so poorly by customers and her fellow employees it made me sick to my stomach. I was blessed to have this particular server before and she is one of the sweetest and most hardworking people I have ever met. This server deserved not one bit of this treatment and seeing how the management team didn't even help her made me swear never to come back to this place. I was robbed. The pricing for axe throwing said $30 per person PER HOUR. Three of us went. We paid $90, and we were given 1 axe throwing lane for 1 hour. Later we realized (AND CONFIRMED WITH STAFF) that if we paid separately, we would have paid the exact same amount of money but would have gotten 3 lanes for 1 hour instead of just 1 lane. When I spoke to the manager about this, that dude had the balls to literally say that should have understood what I purchased before I actually purchased it. read more

Our experience at District 850 was nothing less than stellar. Right when you walk in , the decor and layout sets the right energy of a place where you can unwind and have a blast with your family. We have family in Tallahassee and kids range from 4-14. There is something for everyone at this place . My boys love the arcade games and we as a family can play laser tag together or chose bowling or sometimes both :) The menu has so many options for everyone . My husband is vegan pescatarian and he is able to find a bunch of options - tuna fish to healthy salads. Drinks are amazing - and has a wide range of top shelf liquors and high end bourbons and great selection of wines . The axe throwing , escape room and rope course are just added adventure options which is nice touch. Service is always spot on and staff are friendly , courteous and attentive . I rarely write bad reviews, as normally I give the business the benefit of the doubt. But the experience here was just awful. The customer service is nonexistent. We were asked if we wanted bowling shoes but not informed that there was a bowling shoe fee (which is ridiculous on its own). After we paid for the overpriced lane, we were not told which lane we were assigned. We waited over 10 minutes to find someone that could tell us which lane was ours. We were placed right in between a large party of nearly 20 people who were in our lane, bumping into us, and using the balls we had brought over. When asked if we could change lanes, they said no. We were also told that a waiter would be over shortly but nobody ever came. We left after twenty minutes and were refused a refund. They offered a "game card" but we declined because we never want to come back. read more

Between the loud ringing in my ears from an ongoing noise above our lane while bowling and the auto gratuity for 2 beers without knowing and having to ask Id have to say this place sucks now. I've been going here for a while but the management (Amanda) doesn't seem to have a problem with not notifying people and potentially double tipping workers cause they won't provide them a higher wage. Went here to Valentine's Day for a nice outing with my hubby we were not waited on as 3 waitress just stood there staring and talking not coming to help it was a slow night for them and we were treated as we didn't exist. The dinning needs silverware and salt pepper etc and actually menus the service and food is not worth the money. Paid $75 to bowl in a place with no AC in July. If I had known their ac was down you can bet I wouldn't have come here. To have employees working in 0 ac and being an entertainment venue is absolutely atrocious. Very disappointed and I will not be back. I want my money back. Sept. 24. 2022. While visiting Tallahassee I was invited to District 850. I visited the bar and left a tab opened and only ordered 1 Patron Margarita drink from the bar. I took my drink over to the bowling section to watch my 5 year old niece bowl with her 6 of her friends. I returned to the bar and ordered 1 more Patron Margarita and cashed out. The bartender gave me a bill for $63.14. Confused I told her I only ordered 2 drinks (Patron Margaritas). She replied yes that is the cost for your 2 drinks. The manager told me they also charged me a 18% gratuity because I was sitting in the bowling area drinking my drink. THE MENUE BAR PRICES aren't correct. The drinks watered down. This was our first time at District 850 and we were so happy we went. We started with food before we played and everything was exceptional. The server was fun, on time, and the options were great. We had plenty of Vegan options to choose from and everything was delicious. When we were done eating we didn't know what game package to choose from but the woman at the counter was very knowledgeable and able to help us make our decision easy. The kids had a blast with all of the games and they had lots to do for us parents as well. This is a fun and safe place for families. The pimiento cheese bites are awesome. My grandson enjoys going each time he visits Tallahassee. The 3 times we've gone here; he's ordered the sour patch kids drink. He's been disappointed each time. The activity's are engaging and the food looks amazing. But sadly the food tastes mediocre compared to how it looks.

Tonight we decided to try a new place for dinner. Upon arrival the three people at the hostess stands were not sure what was going on, if there was a wait list or how they would handle our party of 7 (4 adults, 2 children and one infant). Upon being sat we were not given any utensils which we just assumed would come with our food. We ordered two appetizers, cheesey pesto bread and meat balls. They were brought out in a timely manner but without any plates, or utensils. When we asked for them we were told they had no rolled utensils at the moment but they could give us plastic ones if that was okay. Kids were running all over the place rough housing, literally running into us as we walked with a small child. Employees were standing around talking with customers at the bar and at the ticket exchange. Our table was never bussed even though we were piling the dishes up in the only area available on the table. Very disappointing for a facility that new and that nice to have already given in to the fun station mentality. read more

First off, no one , and I mean absolutely no one is enforcing that people wear masks. There were huge groups of people and huge lines for EVERYTHING. we waited for 30 min to pay for laser tag. We wanted to sit down and eat before we played. They said it would be a 2 hr wait to get seated at a table. Yet almost more than half of the dining room was empty. I waited even longer when I was approached by another employee who asked "what are you waiting on" I replied "to be seated" to which she said "it's gonna be a LONGGGGG wait." So we decided we would do the laser tag we payed for and leave because we were now tired of standing and hungry. Suprise suprise, there was another super long wait with employees running around like a chicken with their head cut off. They refused to give me a refund for the laser tag cards that I never even could try to use. Overall had a HORRIBLE experience. Wasted gas and $40 on laser tag that I won't be back to use. read more
