My husband loved the coffee. My ham and cheese croissant was nothing special. Just ham and cheese. Nothing else.

First time here while visiting SLC, and this place did not disappoint! I walked in about an hour…read morebefore they closed in the afternoon, and was seated right away. My server was very kind and helped me take my order according to my dietary restrictions. The cheese/egg biscuit was my fave! Super soft, buttery biscuit with cheesy scrambled eggs, garnished with some scallions, which I really enjoyed as it added something a little extra. My limeade was refreshing and had what seemed like brown sugar at the bottom. It was already sweet enough without me needing to excessively stir it. Also got the loaded hash, without bacon. They were yummy! I really enjoyed the red quinoa/potato combo. Highly recommend if you're in the area, and looking for a yummy, cozy, filling meal. Parking was easy right out front.

Come for the biscuits, stay for the limeade...and then take another limeade to go! At least, that's…read morewhat we did! Wows all around for this place! On this particular morning, I was feeling really ill, but I didn't want to put a damper on our day, so I trudged along, motivated mostly by the word "limeade" (as limes are my favorite fruit), and ended up recovering enough to down a couple of the absolutely incredible breakfast tacos, as well as sucking down a massive habanero limeade, which somehow made me feel even better! No one left hungry or dissatisfied, and as mentioned, we even took an extra limeade with us on the road! I would come here just for another one myself, if it wasn't a 12 hour drive from home! Hell, it just might be worth it...?!

The Magic Touch Is Still Very Much Alive It had been a while…read moresince my last visit, and coming back to Penny Ann's Cafe in Draper was a genuinely pleasant surprise. Five locations and they have not lost a step. The menu is simple and does not need to be anything else. Plenty of omelette options, solid sides, and the star of the show: the Heavenly Hot Cakes. The name is not marketing fluff, it earns every word. Light, airy, and unlike any pancake you will find at a generic breakfast chain. Their secret, sour cream folded into the batter. Whatever they are doing, it works! We ordered a single stack, two Heavenly Hot Cakes, and paired it with a side of strawberries and Nutella, scrambled eggs, and home fried potatoes. The bacon came out crispy to perfection, exactly as requested, no more no less. The strawberries and Nutella alongside the pancakes was an indulgent combination that I have zero regrets about. Portions are generous and the prices are more than fair for what you get. Staff was friendly and the place fills up fast on weekends, so join the waitlist before you leave home. Do not show up and hope for the best. Five stars. A Utah breakfast institution that continues to earn it.

The omelette was mid same with the coffee. But the service was good. The environment was clean overall we would go there again.
