I brought my daughter to try on dresses for an upcoming event and also let her friend try on a dress. When my daughter twirled in her dress, the saleswoman reacted with visible upset and spoke harshly, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for both girls. She insisted that only paying customers could try on dresses and made an inappropriate comment about my daughter's friend's weight while they were trying on dresses. Her unprofessional behavior, including dismissive tones and judgmental remarks, made us feel unwelcome and uneasy throughout the visit. Additionally, she directed us to the sale rack, asking if the little girl intended to buy a dress, citing the delicacy of her dresses. I had needed an engagement photo dress and couldn't find one for a while. Who would have thought that with diva kids' limited adult special occasion dress selection, that I would find it there! However the dress I loved in store wouldn't fit. And that's when my experience with diva kids really started. And it was delightful! On the first day one lady ordered the dress for me in the correct size without extra charge! She was so helpful with taking measurements and being transparent with the vendor that it was a rush order since I had my engagement shot coming up in a week. She empathized a lot seeing as her son also just got married The next week I encountered another lady who was so helpful. The dress was slightly too large up at the top and so she she pinned me to get it altered. I told her I didn't have time to get it altered as the photos were going to be taken tomorrow. She said don't worry and called 3-4 seamstresses who worked in the shop and told me to come back tomorrow and it would be fixed. And if I didn't like it that I would get my money back (this was ok with me as I had a backup dress) The next day, right when the place had opened, I entered and my dress was ready - and it fit beautifully!!! The seamstress came in an hour before opening and did the work, so it was ready! And it was done so well! So overall, I highly recommend diva kids. They are filled with immensely helpful, attentive, caring and talented women! read more

If I could leave negative stars I would, this establishment is a horrible place, A group of my friends and went there and 2 of them wanted to try on a dress each. So naturally, we asked and the lady there said only with an adult present and one of them is 18 so she showed the lady her ID and the lady took it and wouldn't give it back so after asking 5 times if she could have it back she took it back, the lady was so bitchy and viciously took the dress out of her hand hurting her as well as grabbing her wallet, the rest of us put back the dress and helped out our friend. The whole time in front of another woman. Rude much. This place gets from my friends and I all each give this place negative 5 stars. I would never visit again. read more

BUYER BEWARE! Worse shopping experience-EVER! I was interrogated by a Diva Kids (Milford, CT) Sales Associate after I mentioned to her that I was uncomfortable with a price and had been seeking a particular price range. She became demeaning and insulting, and started questioning me as to why I didn't just purchase the item on line. She then walked away with the item as I was still talking, told me to just go on line, and then went up to another Diva Kids (Milford, CT) employee (Manager/Owner?) to insult and complain about me. I was STUNNED. I immediately directed my concerns to that same employee believing she might have been the Owner or Manager of Diva Kids (Milford, CT). BUT, even as she witnessed the employee's bizarre behavior, she too just continued to roll her eyes indifferently, ignoring me and my request for some intervention. When it became clear that she (Diva Kids, Milford, CT, Manager/Owner?) could care less that a customer was being belittled, and IN FRONT OF their CHILD, I became OUTRAGED! I advised her that I would be informing others of my experience, including Mall Management, and that I would never shop there again. She remained absolutely Indifferent to the fact that I had spent several hundred dollars in her store in the past. She actually started grinning. And then as I grabbed my child's hand and proceeded to leave, she curled, pointed and waved her finger at my child (who by now was mortified) and started snorting and snarling how I was the cause of childhood bullies. I found this fantastic little childrens store quite by accident. Walking to exit the the mall. And I want to tell everybody what a great experience I had. The window was so beautiful that I had to really take my time to absorb the beautiful items that were waiting for me.... First of all, the sales personnel were so delightful that it threw me. Customer service level left nothing to be desired....They were not only courteous , but knowledgeable and anxious to tend to my needs......If you are looking for something special, different and you want something that is not in every store this is where to shop...And when the size I needed was not in stock they ordered it for me asap no extra charge!!!!!!!!How nice is that! And they had adult special occasion dresses and gowns too! I will definitely shop here again and to think, if I wasn't going out by Sears I would have missed it....I have read the reviews and honestly, can't believe those stories..... They were great to me...But I wasn't looking for a "deal" ..You may pay a little more, but I didn't mind because the level of service was worth it.
