    Pistachio mini cake $7.99
    Nataliya K.

Disappointed . We've got a pistachio mini cake($7.99) it was stale , it was not moist at all and cream was not silky. The caramel latte ( $5 large) was good. About the service ... well, one lady was really nice and sweet , may be she did not speak good English but she was trying . The other lady was rude , when we asked what is inside the cakes she explained with such an attitude .... I understand people are coming and ask the same questions , but Hey, this is your job , so please be nice .

Fruit tart is da bomb! So fresh and delicious!

I know Divan is known for their Turkish offerings, but that cheesecake...dayum! Do not sleep on their strawberry cheesecake! Light, fresh, creamy and absolutely divine!

Best Baklava I've ever had in my life. If you like baklava that is soft and syrupy then you'll like this place. Must try.

Great place to sit & chat while enjoying coffee or tea with some yummy sweets

I visited this place for the first time. And they had my favorite kazandibi! It was delicious!

No sign on door saying no pets allowed! I entered with my small dog ( holding my dog) the short women with fried bleached hair greeted me with "No dogs No dogs okay?" And not in a nice tone. I looked at her and said okay! As I was exiting I noticed there was no sign on door saying " no pets allowed"! I went back in and mentioned it to the women. I said then you should have a sign on your door. She said okay ( rudely) and walked away!!!!!

I was following this place on social media for a while but never had any chance to come by and give it a try. Since i got my lunch from Taci's Beyti, remembered this place give it a try. I am so glad i did, plus i got myself a birthday cake made with pistachios and chocolate!! FYI, everything here is homemade. Look at the pictures i took, they speak for themselves. They have different variety, blueberry, strawberry, white chocolate, tiramisu. Also they have different bakery items cookies, buttery and flaky pies( borek). They also have a couple of tables, you can sit down have your tea or coffee along with your cake. Will definitely come back again. Almost forgot their baklava is a superb!!

I live nearby but, I never been into the bakery until recently. Oh boy, am I glad I did! They currently are only doing takeout but, I still bought a few treats to enjoy. It was very hard not to rip open the package and devour the goodies as soon as I stepped outside. I bought two types of baklava and both were tasty. They have quite a few different types but, pistachio is my personal favorite. I also bought this milky creamy caramel topped cake. It reminds me of a bit of Tres Leches cake with a caramel-y topping. The woman on staff was very friendly and polite. She offered a lot of suggestions and took the time to explain some of the items. The reason why this isn't a 5-star bakery and I am would visit every single day is because the prices jumped a lot. Baklava used to be 4 pieces for a $1 and the cakes were like under $5 a slice. Now, the baklava is priced per pound from $10.99 to $16.69. I bought 2 pieces of baklava and piece of cake and the total was a little more than $12. There is also a minimum charge of $10/12 to use a credit card.

Spent some time at Divan Bakery on Sunday morning. With a lovely backyard patio and solid baked goods, a great place to spend some time sipping coffee. Quality: A great place to enjoy a beverage and a snack. Even though it was on the smaller side, my Iced Coffee was very good. Richer than expected, which worked nicely with the sweeter treats. I also had some Pistachio Baklava, which was excellent. They had a ton of different flavors, but I believe the classic is the way to go. Quantity: A smaller coffee. The Baklava came with six small pieces. Value: $4.50 for an Iced Coffee. $6.50 for Pistachio Baklava. Ambiance: Divan Bakery is located in the Sheepshead Bay area of Brooklyn. They have a large inside space as well as a lovely back patio. The front inside area is lined with tables as well as the counter displaying the different treats. The back patio is decorated nicely with plants and flowers and different lights. A quiet and serene space to sit and relax. Crowd: A few couples enjoying brunch and coffee. Service: Extremely friendly staff that continuously checked-in on me as I enjoyed my coffee. Parking: Some parking down side roads.

This place definitely lives up to the hype! The food here is amazing, and when I say food, I mean…read moremore than just the baked goods. Starting off with the baked goods, the brown butter corn cake may be the single best pastry I've had in my life. It has a great crispy exterior and a super moist and decadent interior that just makes it the best pastry you could ever ask for. I also think they have one of the best chocolate chip cookies in the city, and their cinnamon roll is light yet executed perfectly. In addition to their pastries, their sandwiches are amazing. My favorite is this chili crisp tofu sandwich. It is packed with great flavor, perfectly tender tofu, and is layered between two pieces of delicious bread. I also love their arugula burrata prosciutto sandwich that is paired so nicely with their focaccia, making each bite the ultimate experience. While I've never waited in a really long line, I can say that they do move pretty efficiently. Unfortunately, there isn't much room to eat inside, but on a nice day, if you can grab a table outdoors, it's a great experience in the lovely Greenpoint neighborhood.

There was basil in the first sandwich that cuts through the fattiness of the meat and cheese which was great. The second sandwich had this spicy sesame sauce which was so good - was not expecting to like the tofu one that much. Brown butter corn bread was the most moist one I've ever had and the top was so crispy. Rhubarb pastry was good but nothing special - didn't taste the rhubarb.

Even though there is a line, you do not feel rushed or pressured to order quickly. On this visit we ordered plain croissant, chocolate croissant-fresh out of the oven, rhubarb croissant, black forest pastry and brown butter corn cake. The chocolate croissant was amazing. It is triple chocolate and cocoa powder is in the dough. It is filled with milk and dark chocolate, so creamy. The plain croissant was flaky and light. The brown butter corn cake was crispy and caramelized on the outside and soft and moist. The Black Forest croissant is a seasonal offering. It is made with their Triple Chocolate Croissant filled with chocolate cake and sour cherries and topped with mascarpone cream , Rhubarb & Custard Croissant . It is tart and sweet. The rhubarb is roasted and complimented with sweet vanilla custard. They all were excellent. Each were about $8. Highly recommend and don't let the line deter you .
