What I got was her undivided attention for an hour, soothing music, wonderful back and face massage. Left in total relaxation mode with soft skin. Absolutely love this place! I finally made the decision to get weft hair extensions and they were such an amazing choice! Amelia colored my hair to match the extension. She matched the color to perfection! I was so happy with the results. Sesen wefted in my extensions and did a flawless job. Professional and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere and truly a local hotspot for beautiful hair extensions. When it comes to hair extensions- the stylists here are top-notch and they have been doing this for a very long time in the area. I come here once a week to have my hair styled by Britney Gelato. I've gone too many hair salons and nobody has been able to do my hair so beautifully. I see Britney for cut color, wash and style. She is the only one I see to have my hair done. I have very curly and unruly natural hair however; Britney makes me look like a supermodel. When I do have hair extensions, I see Sensen ( also at diverse salon) Sensen is one of several women who do great hair extensions here. Most everyone in the valley knows this place if they wear hair extensions. Stop in to diverse salon and you won't be disappointed. This review is for Erin, who works at Diverse Salon. In the past I had never gone to the same hairstylist. Usually I just found a groupon or went wherever was convenient, but I was never entirely satisfied with any of my haircuts...that is until I went to Erin! She is the sweetest person you will ever meet and she seems to really know what she is talking about when it comes to my hair. I also had some hair fall out and is currently growing back but looks crazy because it is shorter than the rest of my hair. Erin was able to cut my hair so that everything blends well together. Also, I typically never style my hair because I am clueless when it comes to using a curling iron, so whenever Erin does my hair she makes it look so amazing. Before you read this review please keep in mind I have hair that weighs roughly eight pounds and is more corse than a bristle brush... Oh and it's very curly. So as you can suspect I have been around the block with hair stylists, trying every possible thing to tame the wild beast on my head. The first time I went to Erin I could see the look of confusion as to how someone could possibly pull off looking like Albert Einstein with highlights. She told me that we would do a smoothing treatment (not the Brazilian blowout but Somthing much better and does not contain ingredients that are harmful to you), whatever she did made my hair feel amazing! Plus it lasted quiet a while. The next few times I saw her she continued to do wonders on my hair!. Yesterday I went to see Wonder Woman and of course I give her the most ridiculous picture of a celeb and said I want this!! Guess what? She did her voodoo magic on my hair and not only is my hair beyond perfect, including the cut ( when has anyone loved their haircut?! Um no one.) Everyone who has seen me in the last 12 hours has been asking and telling me how amazing my hair looks.... No compliments needed I already know ;). I asked Erin (Kelley) Riley to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day. She did myself (bride), mother of the bride and a bridesmaid. I wanted a very low key, feminine look and did not want typical heavy "wedding makeup", ie dark shaded eyes, matte skin, etc. I wanted to look natural and ethereal and Erin delivered. I was very worried about my skin tones on my body, face and neck matching. With an outdoor wedding I knew any color variations would really stand out, especially since I had spray tanned my body but lost most of the tan in my face due to washing it too soon. My skin was all the same color and looked very natural but still had the contouring and shading to look polished! I didn't want to wear full lashes so she provided tip lashes and just put them on the ends of my eyes which I loved! My hair turned out great, she did a trio of twists on one side and a feminine roll on the other. She curled my hair and the curls held all night. I like working with Erin because she shows you her work in stages so if you don't like something there is still time to adjust, rather than just getting shown a finished product and then being stuck with it. I would definitely have Erin do my hair and makeup again for any special occasion. The hair and makeup she did for my MOB and bridesmaid was gorgeous! Everyone looked polished and beautiful!! I typically drive all the way from Milpitas to see Parisa for my eyebrows. She does an amazing job. Very painless and thorough which I appreciate very much. She also takes her time to perfect them. Today I also came in for a facial. It was thee best facial experience I've ever gotten in my life (considering I've gotten facials done elsewhere for 10+ years!) Parisa makes sure you're comfortable at all times and is also gentle. The facial also includes a massage! I must say she did such an amazing job that I literally fell asleep during my facial. Highly recommend Parisa! She gets an A++ in my book. read more

Went in for a bikini wax, and specified that I did not want a lot taken off. She took off enough for a landing strip (not what I asked for), and when I said it was more than I wanted, she told me "men like it better this way" and challenged me by asking "why I would want that." I was annoyed and appalled at that kind of language, but I took it in stride. The whole process was much more painful than usual, and she put on much more wax than necessary. Then she left it on for too long and it fused to my skin such that she could not get it off. She apologetically told me this has never happened before. That's when I looked down and noticed she had lifted the skin off my body such that I had dark, hickey-like marks on my skin. She told me it was likely because I was "fair-skinned," and I noted that this has never ever happened before to me. (The lovely people at European Wax Company who touched me up after confirmed she had lifted the skin off due to improper waxing technique) I asked if she had something to dissolve the wax, and she handed me massage oil (?!) She stated there was no product available to remove the wax. Then she attempted to use scissors to cut the wax off of me, and that is when I asked her to leave and let me handle it. She left me a box of baby wipes and a bottle of aloe vera. Don't get me wrong, she was very apologetic....but the whole experience was unprofessional, unsanitary (she double dipped), painful, rude, and inconsiderate. She did not charge me. However, I called the manager and left a message and heard no response. read more
