Love this place and I love Jason! I've been seeing him for the last 10 years and can't imagine letting anyone else do my hair. He is creative as hell, and has an amazing way with color. He's a mad genius. The salon itself is unassuming but cozy and friendly. They have done a great job of keeping everyone safe during covid. When I saw Isaac, for this major transformation, the lockdown was freshly over. By that time, my hair was way way way past my shoulders, and basically to the lower middle, part of my back. Because of my age or stress, my hair started to get thinner, and looked horribly stringy and limp. So, after much debating, I decided to chop it all off & go for ultra short style. Isaac spent literally, a couple of hours on getting my hair absolutely perfect. He checked in with me constantly, using a couple of pictures to start but tailoring it to my hair& face. I got my haircut with Jason K today at Divas. Jason has been cutting my hair or almost 10 years now from back when he was at another salon. He always puts in the time to make sure I get a great cut and an enjoyable and relaxing experience. Covid has messed things up for a lot of us. My hair was getting so long, and this heat has been killing me. I couldn't stand it anymore. I called Jason and he set up a table outside of Diva's with an awning, sanitized equipment, sanitizer for himself and me and a mask. He asked that I came with my hair washed, and gave me a cut in less than an hour. I always felt safe and had both of our masks on. He did a temperature test on both of us before I was allowed to sit down. He asked me the prerequisite questions and we both agreed we were safe to start the process of removing a lot of hair, that was growing like weeds. It was great to see someone who I have known and relied on for the past ten years and get a refreshing cut, but also know that He and a lot of other stylists, beauticians and service industry people need our support. He never once complained or made it seem like he was hurting unless I pressed him on it, and he had the integrity to just focus on the cut and my family. Great guy. When I left, I watched him clean and sanitize the entire "outdoor salon station" for a hopeful next client. Being a chef and operating a business in Covid, I was impressed at how serious he was about cleaning the space around him for others. As usual I got a great cut from someone I trust not only with my hair, but with my health. Nikki at Diva's is Awesome! I was referred to her by a friend and I Highly recommend her. Her Facial is ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!! Since my first review, I've been to see Jason a few more times for haircuts and a new set of highlights. With the last few stylists I've worked with in the past few years, i felt like after the initial cut/color, they didn't put in much effort and the results weren't as exciting and dramatic as I'd hoped. But Jason has kept my hair fresh and fun each time. It struck me today after our appointment how much of the stylist/client relationship is more personal than we might think, especially if someone is going through a big change in self-image. In my case, it's the transition into motherhood. In such times, I think it becomes extra important to find someone with whom you can communicate well. This is something I'm still learning about and I tend to let fear and guilt get in my way instead of speaking my mind. We had a miscommunication about the color of my hair last time I came in, but Jason handled the situation very professionally and we found a solution that worked well for both of us. If I'd been more up front in the first place, it could have avoided the miscommunication and led us to feeling more comfortable with the situation. I wanted to share this because I think that Jason is a stylist that can be trusted not only with doing an amazing job with cuts and color, but also in dealing professionally and clearly with small conflicts like this one. I feel very lucky to have found him! Also I'd like to give a big shout out to his intern, Alma. I've been looking for a new stylist for a few weeks now, ever since I told my last one "I'd like a golden brown color" and ended up with goth-black. I saw the positive reviews about Diva's here and checked out their web site and thought it would be a good place. Wrong. I made an appointment with Sharon on a Saturday. When I got there, there was no one at the front desk and I ended up waiting for 15 minutes for someone to notice me. Finally another stylist said 'Can I help you?' and then went to get Sharon from the back. If she wasn't with a client, why wasn't she checking to see if I had arrived herself?!? Then when I sat down in her chair she asked what we were doing today. Well, I booked a consultation with you, so I guess CONSULTING. I told her about my last experience and that I wanted to know what my options were for lightening my hair. She said "I'm not sure, let me ask Phil". Ok, who's Phil, and why do you need to ask him? Aren't you licensed? Bad feelings here..... Apparently Phil was on the phone, so 15 minutes later she comes back & says "we have to bleach it. Do you want to do it today?" Wait a sec - tell me more: what's the process, what will it do to my hair, what results should I expect? Nada. I told her "I don't know if I want to do it today - I really just wanted to talk to someone with experience who could tell me my options." So she says "Who?" WTF?!?!? I had just left a high-end salon in Downtown Saratoga so I knew the ins-and-outs of what I was in need of and the processes behind it. We both went in on a Saturday to see Darcy. I had a color consultation and a cut. The cut turned out FABULOUS and was very impressed by the blow out she had done. The following weekend, I came in for my color... going on two years now, I LOVE DARCY! I've been going to Leighann for years, and she always does great work. Fabulous color and great cuts. I usually have her do full or partial highlights, followed by a cut. I have also gone to her special occasions--she did a flat-iron blow-out that was stick straight, and lasted all day despite hot weather, and some serious dancing! I only go to Leighann, but everyone else is always very friendly. Great, easy to find location, and great selection of products. They carry the Aquage series, which is great for curly hair, especially if you want to wear it straight. People always compliment me on my hair, which speaks volumes. I admit it...I only go to Leighann when I need my hair flat ironed. She leaves it so silky smooth and bone straight, I am unrecognizable... I did try to have her cut my hair while my normal stylist was off having a baby-I couldn't wait and was desperate-but curly hair is so "delicate." If you cut it wet, when it's dry you might get stuck with the Christmas tree effect. If you cut it dry, the stylist might get a little to liberal with the razor thingy. Either way, Leighann is my backup, and she is super friendly. Look at it this way, it took me 4 sessions to get it right with my last stylist, so I can't diss Leighann. She does private appointments and does great up do's. So so clean, and everyone is super friendly at the salon. Prices are decent, and it's a quick fix when you need to be "different." read more

I always visit Ashley for a color and cut - she always gets it right - whether I'm going for a more conservative cut or a wild one. Not only is she friendly and attentive, she is the perfect balance of listening to what I want and guilding me toward styles that are going to work with my hair texture and face shape. During my first haircut with her, she took my hair from a "blah" long cut to a kicky layered cut with the most AWESOME sideswept bangs ever. They lay perfectly to the side every time, and I didn't have to put any on product to make them look perfect. I don't know how she did it, but I was totally impressed.
