I come here regularly for my eyebrow threading mostly because of the close and convenient location within Sola Salon. A couple of months ago, they increased their eyebrow threading prices from $12 to $15. So, after tip it's close to $18 for an eyebrow clean-up, which is a bit pricier than some of the other salons I've been to. I've been satisfied with their work on my eyebrows, but the pain level depends on who your technician is. If possible, I always try to come when Biva is working because she tries to thread my eyebrows with minimal pain. I recommend always texting their number for an appointment, but even with an appointment sometimes they get really backed up. One time, I had an appointment but still waited 30 minutes for my 5-10 minutes of eyebrow threading since only one person was working and she was overwhelmed. It'd be better if they had 2 people working during busy hours right after work or during the weekends. read more

I've started coming here when my regular eyebrow lady was booked solid every time I needed my brows fixed. They are located inside the Sola salon building. Which is a building with a lot of other beauty pods inside. I've also discovered other businesses for hair and massages. My first visit was great. Salon is very trendy, and deco is nice as well. All the ladies here do a great job. Deepa, Ranju, and Biva. Biva is my favorite. At the end of each service, she cleans my brows up, with cleaners, or wipes away any hairs lingering around. A lot of places don't do this. They just thread, thread thread, and send you on your way. Their salon pod is #31. Definitely recommend! read more

I visited their other location previously and had a good experience, so decided to give this one a try since it's closer to where I live. For any threading services, appointments are necessary, which helps keep the number of individuals in the small room down. Like their other location, which is also located in Sola Salon, this one made me feel comfortable the entire time I was there (~10 min). The individual who threaded my eyebrows did a wonderful job. She was thorough and didn't rush. I asked to keep my eyebrows the same shape and just clean it up, so that's what she did. My first time ever getting my eyebrows done - I picked this location because it looked clean and bright and Divine has gotten pretty good reviews. Easy to make appointments - just text the business phone number. I really liked how easy that was. The woman was very nice and sweet. She was extremely fast - I think mine only took 8 minutes or maybe even less. The studio is inside Sola salons upstairs from Mattress Warehouse and Grill Kabob. Park on the highway side of the building and you'll enter the building and take the elevator up. They are studio #3 on the right. I am quite happy with my results - she did a great job cleaning up my brows with little discomfort. I would recommend this place for sure. read more

I'm so excited that Deepa has expanded her business and opened the second location in Research Boulevard! My work is a 3 minute drive from the salon and I couldn't be any more excited for this new location, so excited that I could scream literally! If you're looking for the best eyebrow lady Deepa is THE one. I met her last year at the Rockville Pike location where she saved my eyebrows from a horrific tragedy done by another salon. I haven't gone anywhere else for my threading ever since and I'm forever grateful to Deepa and her amazing skills and professionalism. She's available at this location on Wednesday's and Thursday's and spends the rest of the week at the Rockville location. Divine's in my lunch time go-to when I'm at the office. But, I haven't been in the office since mid-March. I was in the area so I decided to finally get my eyebrows done by my favorite. I called my usual location, but there was no answer. Desperate, I looked for nearby threading options and to my surprise I found a new Divine's right down the street from my job. I had to be escorted to the shop from the lobby (which was a little tricky to find). Enter lobby from rear of building which overlooks the highway. Once upstairs I noticed how nicely the space was and took a mental note of how pretty the lighting and mirrors were :) The only downfall was Deepa was not at this location during my visit. Nonetheless, I liked how my eyebrows turned out. And dare I say, I might take the 1hr+ drive when it's time for a touch up. Trust me, it's worth it! Oh, if you ever experience threading bumps I opted to use some ingrown preventer lotion I pick up from a recent wax service elsewhere and I'm happy to report I had no reaction (which unfortunately typically happens 2-3 days after threading for me) read more

It's clean, well-decorated, and Biva is my go-to/favorite technician! She is very welcoming, gentle, and I can always trust her to leave my brows looking great. If there was a zero star I'd give it. My 18 year old daughter went to get her eyebrows done today and the back of her neck waxed. The lady who serviced her was called Binita. Firstly she completely botched the waxing job, even using scissors to chop off some of her hair. She then charged her $34 !!! The eyebrow cost $12 that means she charged $25 for waxing the small area at the back of her neck. We had already checked the website and the prices on the website clearly indicated $12 for eyebrows and $8 for "Neck". My daughter returned home evidently surprised she got charged so much. So I called them and asked why she was charged $34 ! The same lady Binita answered the phone and started to explain finally admitting to the fact that she made a mistake. She asked me to send my daughter back and she would refund the extra amount she charged. I was upset at the fact that not only had she overcharged her but given that my daughter is only 18 she found an opportunity to scam a young girl who also happened to be the same race like the lady herself !! Has Covid brought out the monster in people ?? She then said her uncle died ! So she pretty much used that as an excuse as to why she decided to scam my daughter. She then pleaded with me not to tell her boss and instead asked me to drive back so she could refund me. I drove there and when I got there to my amazement she now adopted a different strategy. This time she asked me to call her boss who by know apparently had already been notified about the situation. I told her regardless she owed us a refund as her website clearly indicated the price. Guess what ! When I checked the website again her boss had now updated the website to say "Neck (front)" $8 Huh ???? When I got her boss on the phone he explained that the charge was for the "front" of the neck and that the back of the neck is a different charge. HUH ?!!! Who waxes the front of their neck and does anyone even have hair on the front of their neck ? Clearly this business is not going to last long if they rip off customers like this. Obviously the boss forgot that his prices were also clearly printed and displayed in plain sight in his salon so his sneaky little trick of updating his website to support his scam wasn't going to work. I finally managed to get a full refund but customers be wary. This isn't a matter of the money as much as it is about principle, courtesy and just pure integrity !! If the owner had just been man enough to own up and say I apologize rather than play dirty I'd still have reconsidered the negative review. Never ever going back !!! read more

SAVE YOUR MONEY DO NOT GO HERE!!! My eyebrow lady is not accepting any customers right now due to COVID so I decided to try this place out. I can't even tell you how many things went wrong: 1. I asked her to do the back of my neck and she literally CHOPPED parts of my hair off before attempting to wax and got my hair stuck in the wax there too 2. She charged me $37 just for my eyebrows and neck when it clearly says $20 on their website ($12 for eyebrow and $8 for neck) 3. When I decided to call her back after and point out her wrongdoing, she makes the excuse that she had a family member that just past away and THAT IS WHY SHE OVERCHARGED ME!!?!?
