I checked in and they took your temperature. The nail technician I had was Vicky and she was great. She took her time to trim my nails and remove all the rough skin on my feet. It took her about an hour to finish my pedicure; my total was $57 - $42(the divine pedicure) + $15(gel) I found the place to be very clean and price is reasonable. Tried this place on a whim and I was pleasantly surprised! I went came here to get a standard mani-pedi with my boyfriend. I called about 45 minutes in advanced and they were able to accommodate us pretty last minute. I wish I got the name of the technician but I really appreciated her service. She was very kind and meticulous! & when I didn't love the color so chose out for my toes, she picked some other options that I could use for my manicure which was a little bit closer to what I was going for. I don't want to leave this review, but I'm a bit disappointed. I'm giving this a 3. Let me explain. I chose this nail salon because it's 1 mile away from home instead of my usual place in Anaheim. The first time I went in , was back in January. It was a great experience. They gave me a pamphlet in which I got to choose what I wanted for my pedicure (15min massage as well), I got dip for my nails, turned out beautiful, and I got gel on my toes, which also turned out beautiful. $100 plus tip, which I did tip $20 each for my nails and pedicure. Unfortunately I don't remember the names of the women who helped me. Second time around, I went in March 9th early afternoon. I went in for the same service, dip and gel pedicure. I was seated right away. I was not given a pamphlet to choose my pedicure/ price. Anyways- my dip did turn out nice, except my cuticles were not pushed back or even cut. I really noticed this when I left the salon. I felt like I did not have to look at my nails and watch them because I trusted them the first time. My pedicure toes turned out nice, except for some reason my massage was 5 minutes and the routine I had that day was not even close to what I had the first time in my pedicure . At the end of it, I spent $100, for what? and politely still tipped $20 each for my nails and my pedicure to those women who helped me. Tiffany and Van. I had visited the nail salon yesterday with my sister. We each received pedicures and it was not at all the quality I expected. The man who did my pedicure rushed through my massage with 5 minutes left when it advertised 15 min. It felt like he was churning butter since my chair was moving so much. When he was cleaning my nails, I usually have ingrown nails and my nail techs always take them out and make sure it's taken care of. My nail tech was friendly. My problem is the actual quality of the manicure. They messed up on two nails and had to start over after a second coat curing. They barely did anything with cuticles except for filing into them. The shaping was off. There's a huge gob of polish on a nail.... It was shocking how many things went wrong in this hour long mani. I want to leave an honest, accurate review so that others won't fall into the nightmare that I did earlier this month. Note: I had been to Divine Nails 2 times before for gel manicures. They weren't stellar and were overpriced, but I'm walking distance from this place so I dealt with it. This review is about my first time getting acrylics here. Upon arrival, I showed a photo of what I wanted to the receptionist, who then showed it to the nail tech who eventually worked on me. It was a man I'd seen around, but never working on anybody. As he worked, I started to notice the nails were looking less and less like I wanted. The blue was splotchy; not at the right length of the nail; some butterflies were stacked on top of each other; glitter started to get used when I didn't want it. I expressed my concern to him and he promised it "would look better". As he kept working, I made the call to have him remove the blue color and glitter, because he wasn't getting it right, and no, I didn't think this would look better once finished. The man seemed irritated (he had done maybe 3 nails at this point) and made faces and sighed as he removed the blue and glitter with the machine. This is when he cut me (see picture). I wanted to cry, and was so ready to leave, but I already had all the nails on and thought it'd be faster to finish. In pain, I settled for clear nails that looked super scratched and had uneven butterfly placements, and got the heck out of there. Around the 1 week mark, 2 of the nails started to peel from the cuticle end. Anytime anything pushed against these two nails, my entire finger hurt. These 2 nails ended up bruising my nail bed (see picture). I did call the place to explain what was happening but after hearing the potential solve (more glue!), I realized they weren't interested in rectifying the issue. I seriously regret not asking for a refund. I had these nails removed at a place I trust (my fingers were pretty beaten up after this experience and I wasn't ready to have anyone at this salon attempt to fix this); usually, acrylics can be safely and quickly removed by popping them off with another fake nail. Not these. Again, the glue used was not of good quality at all (which is likely why it started coming off around 5 days later), and it severely damaged my nail beds. Removing the nails also exposed bruising, as mentioned before. To DIVINE NAILS: a quick search for "bleed" and "hurt" in your reviews here tells me that my problem was not a singular experience. Not sure if we all had the same nail tech, but I had an older man (didn't catch his name) and would highly suggest not letting him work on you to avoid a sad situation like this. Oh, and this experience cost me around $137. More than anything, I am just deeply saddened by the damage their work did to my natural nails. Please, use better glue. Don't cut your clients. Don't get upset when your work doesn't look like the photo you said could be replicated. Had this all been handled better, Divine Nails would have gained a customer who would be coming in here several times a month. But I won't be going back now. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!! THEY BURNED HALF OF MY FACE OFF!!! Came in on 1/10/2024 to get eyebrows and upper lip waxed for my graduation photos and they BURNED HALF OF MY FACE OFF!!! At the very least, the first layer of my skin was completely burned off and left extremely red afterwards. I had to go to urgent care to see the doctor and they had to prescribe me an antibiotic topical so it could heal properly. The doctor advised I avoid the sun and makeup because it is indeed an exposed wound. It burned afterwards and continued to burn during the healing process. I cried at the salon and the days after because it completely ruined my graduation photos, which my family flew to Irvine for. This incident left me in such emotional distress for a week. After a couple weeks, I have been noticing some difference in pigmentation of my skin in the areas they burned off. I am lucky this scarring is minimal. Completely unprofessional and DANGEROUS. I would not recommend. In fact, I have told people not to come here and will continue to do so. I am praying on this place's downfall. read more
