my friends and i wanted to find a place to get our nails done asap and together, & called to ask if they were able to take us 4 in = success!! nina greeted us at the door herself and she was so caring, attentive, and sweet. she made sure each of us felt very welcomed! truly a vibe and personality you can't fake. i had my pinterest nail pics, showed Henry, and omg. it was just like the picture and better. if you can ask for Henry, def do!! this place is located with lots of parking spaces, so pretty and clean inside, and overall will def be coming back.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this salon was different. The space is beautiful, relaxing, and truly gives a luxury experience without feeling intimidating. Nina, the owner, is absolutely amazing. She's warm, attentive, and genuinely cares about making sure every client has the best experience possible. She pays close attention to your needs and makes you feel comfortable from start to finish. If you're looking for a nail salon that values quality, hospitality, and exceptional service, I can't recommend this place enough. I'm so happy I found my new go-to salon!

Save your time and your money and go somewhere else. I got to Nina's nail salon at 1:30pm and was done with my pedicure at 4:00pm I was supposed to get my nails and feet done but they only have a couple of people working so I did not have enough time to get my nails done (THANK GOD) First of all I HATED my toes the design was not at all what I wanted and just straight up ugly in my opinion. But that's not the nightmare!! She tried to charge me 189$ for my toes!!!! I got chrome design, on French. I told her 189 is insane as her pedicure prices were 65$ for the option I chose. How is the chrome design more expensive than the entire pedicure service by more than 110% That makes no sense in any way And the work was sooooo horrible I literally cried historically when I left. In this economy things are already super expensive, so If you are new to business and are being greedy, you leave no room for your customer to breathe. My friend got a simple white toe and solid pink nails and her total was 230$ after tip. Which is what I usually pay for nails with design anywhere else in the area or any other area If she was a private nail tech and doing special art work I would understand the prices but we did something so basic. Moral of story just go somewhere else that's already established so don't need to be over charged to make up for the reconstruction they did to the salon. I'm giving 2 star bc they had a aesthetic wooden tray but literally they could've saved money so they don't have to over charge customer lol I came back and changed it to one star because my big toe has been hurting from them over trimming my cuticles

This is a great spot have the best services I have ever received in Irvine. The technician and manager are very nice and they take detailed care of my feet. Not only did the guy nick me and I started to bleed while he was taking off the gel color on my nails, but he also took forever taking the color off. I was there for an hour and all he did was take the color off and make me bleed. The lady doing my pedicure also apparently has the same issue because it hurt when she removed my cuticles so I told her to stop doing it. Idk why all the technicians here seemingly don't care if they hurt their clients. The owner was also writing the yelp review for the client while I was there. She gave that client some sort of discount. So I would say, don't trust all the glowing reviews. The owner probably wrote it or helped that customer write it. Would not recommend this place. She charged me $42 for just removing the polish on my toes and giving me a half assed 3 minute pedi massage with a scrub. The timer was literally 3 minutes and she acted like she was doing me some sort of favor by setting the timer up. Other nails salons don't put on a timer for their pedi massages. This place is not friendly and their prices are overly high for the below average service. read more

Lovely experience today at Nina nail salon! My nails have been long over due for some pampering, and they were able to take me as a walk-in. I got a manicure with gel polish and pedicure with regular nail polish. The people here are so so friendly and are extremely detail oriented. It's also so beautiful inside. First time at this salon as you can tell by the rating it was not ideal. The good: Staff was friendly Salon was very clean and seemed newly updated The bad: Price is extremely high compared to other places in the area. (I could understand the price if the finished product was amazing but it was definitely not) Pretty bad technique - at least from Harry. (I saw lots of really good pictures on here so I assume their other techs are good but this guy clearly needs some more training or something) Specifics: I asked for glazed French tips (pictures included) The price for the builder gel alone is $76 which apparently does not include basic cuticle care?! $21 add on for chrome, except as you can see he put so little you can barely tell it's there. A $6 fee for shaping the nails - I understand a charge for like some long stiletto nails but charging to round off short nails seems excessive. And again, the price would be fine for quality nails but as you can see in the pictures they aren't even glazed because he barely put any chrome on and my nails are different lengths on each hand not at all what I would expect for $122 read more

I had such a wonderful experience at Nina Nail Salon! I treated myself to the Rose and CBD infusion pedicure along with an acrylic fill, and both services exceeded my expectations. The customer service was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and they made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. My pedicure was incredibly relaxing, and my acrylic fill turned out beautifully. I actually live in Nevada, but I will definitely return to Nina Nail Salon whenever I'm in Irvine. It's not often that you find a salon that combines excellent service, a relaxing atmosphere, and great results, but they truly do. Highly recommend! read more

Wow! I'm super impressed with this nail salon! I've been looking for a place that meets my standards for nail service.... Clean, open late, great service, close to work and home, and a little something extra. I usually drive to Newport Beach to get my nails done, but I really don't have the time anymore. I have been in 2x to get my nails done so I could give an honest review. I set up an appointment on line which was very easy and quick. Both times I walked in I was pleasantly greeted by the owner Nina. She helped me decide on what service I wanted since I wash my hands often at work, my polish never lasts that long. She was knowledgeable and very helpful in helping me decide what was best. She recommended the gel x. Which I love. Katie worked on my nails both times and she is very friendly and she took her time to make sure I loved my nails before each step. Which I really appreciated. I will say that the coffee here is amazing, that in itself brought me back. I love the over all vibe of everyone in this place and the calming decor. The prices are a little higher than I'm used to paying but I'm justifying the price since I don't have to drive to Newport and the coffee is delicious. this is definitely my new and forever nail salon. read more

The moment I walked in I was greeted by Nina with a smile and warmth. She explained the specials going on and what was offered with each service. I was offered champagne, Vietnamese coffee or tea with my service choice. Nina let me try the coffee even though Im not a coffee fan. I'm still not, but she offered me a lovely tea since I'm not into coffee. The salon is well kept, clean, it feels like an upscale spa experience. Kevin was my tech and he did a wonderful job. Her and I had clear conversation as I was considering switching to membership vs single service . I ended up getting a membership and after a few services realized their spray tan product was actually causing skin acne /rash. I reached out to cancel my membership and they told me the 3 credits I had on file were now gone. This was the opposite of what I had been told. They charge for a membership which guarantees a certain amount of credits then are no longer usable once the membership is cancelled. The company is taking money for providing NOTHING to the customer. This makes zero sense. The credits for cancelled memberships don't even stay active for any period. This company is so unethical. The employees spray tanning also say a "a 20% tip is highly recommended " then proceed to charge 20% on the single service price not the membership price. She then went on to take care of another client and I was fighting falling asleep haha I was with the mask for a good 10mins or so. She proceeded to remove it and do another nice massage all over my face spreading the moisturizer all over. She was so calm and relaxing. My friends and I come here a lot to get our nails done. Unfortunately this last experience here was…read morenot a good one. While the price is affordable, I will not come back due to sanitary issues & incorrect methods they use. We made appts for 12 pm and my nails were not started until 12:45 pm. My nail tech (Michelle) was very nice and she does nails well, however, she used the nail grinder tool to clean my cuticles. My cuticles HURT for hours after my nails were done and weeks after the appt, I still have cut up cuticles and scabbing from the blood (pictures attached). I wish I had known in the moment that this method is not okay; it should have been a cuticle cutter. Once I got to my car and quickly googled that I found: Grinders are made for shaping hard artificial or natural nail surfaces, not living skin. Using a high-speed rotating bit on the delicate cuticle and the nail bed can easily cause painful skin tears, deep friction burns, and severe infections. These aren't correct practices used by this salon; they are taking the easy route to get it done quickly. Would not recommend. I would give them 1 star but Yelp removes those reviews easily so that's why I'm putting 2-stars.

While visiting my sister, I scheduled myself for a mani-pedi. Found Nina Nail Salon and scheduled an appointment. The experience was amazing from start to finish . The check in was simple and easy. I opted for the Silk and Stone Therapy for both services. Ivy did my pedicure. Monica did my manicure. Both were kind and professional. I loved their attention to detail and how they asked about the services while providing them, the temperature of the water and paraffin wax, and making sure I didn't bump or smudge my nails between applying coats of polish. I enjoyed talking to them. It made the time go by so quickly. The massages they gave very amazing; comparable to any massage you will receive by a massage therapist. I went to Nina's today to get a gel manicure and gel pedicure. The salon is currently in the remodeling phase nevertheless, it still looks neat and beautiful. My experience with my Manicure pedicure were great. The service was awesome. My hands and feet came out clean and perfect. The technicians took their time to perfect my designs on my nails and for my feet the technician was very good at taking my ingrown nails out.
