The customer service was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and they made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. My pedicure was incredibly relaxing, and my acrylic fill turned out beautifully. I actually live in Nevada, but I will definitely return to Nina Nail Salon whenever I'm in Irvine. Save your time and your money and go somewhere else. I got to Nina's nail salon at 1:30pm and was done with my pedicure at 4:00pm I was supposed to get my nails and feet done but they only have a couple of people working so I did not have enough time to get my nails done (THANK GOD) First of all I HATED my toes the design was not at all what I wanted and just straight up ugly in my opinion. But that's not the nightmare!! She tried to charge me 189$ for my toes!!!! I got chrome design, on French. I told her 189 is insane as her pedicure prices were 65$ for the option I chose. How is the chrome design more expensive than the entire pedicure service by more than 110% That makes no sense in any way And the work was sooooo horrible I literally cried historically when I left. In this economy things are already super expensive, so If you are new to business and are being greedy, you leave no room for your customer to breathe. My friend got a simple white toe and solid pink nails and her total was 230$ after tip. Which is what I usually pay for nails with design anywhere else in the area or any other area If she was a private nail tech and doing special art work I would understand the prices but we did something so basic. Moral of story just go somewhere else that's already established so don't need to be over charged to make up for the reconstruction they did to the salon. I'm giving 2 star bc they had a aesthetic wooden tray but literally they could've saved money so they don't have to over charge customer lol I came back and changed it to one star because my big toe has been hurting from them over trimming my cuticles read more

Came in as a walk in and got a full set acrylic gel done by Harry. I asked for square gel and he did a good job at shaping and filing them. Felt very detailed. Price started at 72 and 12 was added for the stars. On the pricier side, but I decided to give it a go since I was in the plaza. read more

Unfortunately, I had to edit my review. The salon is very clean and well-maintained. Ivy did an excellent job with my gel pedicure and made sure I liked the length and the leg massage was nice. Linda did my gel manicure, and it wasn't the best. The gel lasted for 6 days and it started peeling one nail at a time. I asked for short, round shape and I got square/oval? The length of the nails were also not the same. For a $62 gel manicure, I thought it would last at least two weeks. I had to go to another salon to get my nails fixed. read more

The good: Staff was friendly Salon was very clean and seemed newly updated The bad: Price is extremely high compared to other places in the area. (I could understand the price if the finished product was amazing but it was definitely not) Pretty bad technique - at least from Harry. (I saw lots of really good pictures on here so I assume their other techs are good but this guy clearly needs some more training or something) Specifics: I asked for glazed French tips (pictures included) The price for the builder gel alone is $76 which apparently does not include basic cuticle care?! $21 add on for chrome, except as you can see he put so little you can barely tell it's there. A $6 fee for shaping the nails - I understand a charge for like some long stiletto nails but charging to round off short nails seems excessive. And again, the price would be fine for quality nails but as you can see in the pictures they aren't even glazed because he barely put any chrome on and my nails are different lengths on each hand not at all what I would expect for $122 read more

Wow! I'm super impressed with this nail salon! I've been looking for a place that meets my standards for nail service.... Clean, open late, great service, close to work and home, and a little something extra. I usually drive to Newport Beach to get my nails done, but I really don't have the time anymore. I have been in 2x to get my nails done so I could give an honest review. I set up an appointment on line which was very easy and quick. Both times I walked in I was pleasantly greeted by the owner Nina. She helped me decide on what service I wanted since I wash my hands often at work, my polish never lasts that long. She was knowledgeable and very helpful in helping me decide what was best. She recommended the gel x. Which I love. Katie worked on my nails both times and she is very friendly and she took her time to make sure I loved my nails before each step. Which I really appreciated. I will say that the coffee here is amazing, that in itself brought me back. I love the over all vibe of everyone in this place and the calming decor. The prices are a little higher than I'm used to paying but I'm justifying the price since I don't have to drive to Newport and the coffee is delicious. this is definitely my new and forever nail salon. read more
