The baristas were super sweet and recommended the knafeh latte for me. I'm sipping it rn and it's a journey! The cold foam on top wasn't too sweet and you can taste the knafeh in every sip. The crunchies on top were great too.

Absolutely beautiful menu and staff. Loved the unique coffee options as well as pastries. The staff helped me narrow down what to order. Ambiance is so cute and cozy, too. Love to see a Muslim owned location get so much love from the community

We've seen this new coffee shop and wanted to stop in to try their unique coffee flavors. We looked over their menu and decided on two popular drinks: Knafa Latte and Pistachio Rose White Mocha Latte, we also ordered two Zaatar croissants (we wanted to try other items on the menu but they were out of stock. Service was on the slower side, I think that's a combination of being a newer shop with newer staff. However, the employees were extremely helpful and friendly. Our drinks were great, the rose syrup in both drinks was slightly overpowering but overall the drinks were good. I feel that for the pistachio latte - a pistachio cold foam would elevate the flavor as pistachio was minimal and same with the knafa latte - a cheese cold foam would elevate the flavors giving a full knafa taste. The croissant was an actual croissant cut in half, topped with Zaatar and filled with Zaatar, arugula, tomato and cucumbers... it was ok. Seating inside is plentiful despite the fact that the coffee shop looks smaller and the decor gives Arabia vibes. Overall, nice new coffee shop and I'd be back to try other items once they have them in stock.

This little coffee house has incredibly delicious lattes with Palestinian inspired flavors. Make sure to grab a slice of their fresh and made in-house Knafeh if they have it! The staff is also lovely. I cannot recommend them enough.

Such a delicious, cozy, and beautiful coffee shop! From the moment we stepped in, the staff were so welcoming and engaging. We throughly enjoyed their recommendations on what to order. We had three different lattes: vanilla, knafeh, and Baklawa. Ordered two pastries: knafeh and the gluten free chocolate cake. There are so many more things I want to try and will be back again. The only thing that you need to prepare yourself for is parking. Many of the garages around the area had "parking garage full" signs. We were able to find parking but it took some searching. Well worth the scavenger hunt.

We ordered 20 iced coffees for a work event, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. They communicated with me beforehand to answer questions about placing the order and accommodated all of our special instructions without any issues. Everything was delivered right on time, which made the event stress-free. Most importantly, the coffee was incredible, everyone at work was asking where it came from and had nothing but great things to say about the different flavors. If you're looking for catering for an office event they're on Doordash now! But nothing is better than the ambiance at the location, I highly recommend them. We'll definitely be ordering again.

Loved everything about it. The ambience, owner and the food We tried as per the other reviews - pistachio croissant which had a good amount of pistachio cream which the kids loved, baklava and date & walnut knafeh, and the best thing was the Zahar latte.. if you love the orange cardamom latte from French bakery, this is the better version of it Will be visiting more often going forward as we think we found our cafe!!

This unique cafe tucked away in the back of Bellevue, family owned. This gem offered unique coffee flavors you can't find elsewhere and surprisingly being timid of spices, it complimented the coffee perfectly, and wasn't too sweet either, and balanced to perfection. They offer a variety of food options and for pistachio lovers, this would be a great option for you.

Spanish Latte (ok) and Hot Chocolate (awful)
    Lynne M.

Parking in the Spring District can be tough. Server seemed very nice, took our order for a Spanish Latte (sweetened condensed milk) and hot chocolate, and called out each drink as they were very slowly made (rather than having both drinks served together). Neither drink was hot; neither was strong. The latte wasn't milky or sweet, but the coffee was ok. The hot chocolate tasted like a powdered drink mix you can get at a grocery store. The cups are great - the textured outside is easy to grip. The room is cozy looking and I like the decor. But the seats aren't very comfortable. The room didn't seem heavily perfumed when I walked in, but the scent became overwhelming after I'd been sitting for a few minutes. This might have been due to the arrival of a customer, so I don't blame the business but it marred my experience.

My friends and I are visiting from California and we were craving some caffeine and pastries. We found this spot on TikTok and it did not disappoint!! Everything was 12/10, from the drinks and pastries to the kind and helpful owners and staff. There is plenty of comfy seating, making this place perfect for studying, playing games, or just chatting. I highly recommend the knafeh (sweet and crispy pastry) or falafel pastry (will satisfy your middle eastern food cravings). The ambiance and seating is so colorful and cozy, and I would definitely come back if I was in the area again.

Fantastic vibe and knafeh. Highly recommend! Great WiFi as well for those who need to get work done.

Palestinian decor in the corner of the cafe

Highly recommend this family-owned Palestinian cafe! The Yemeni coffee they use is strong & the flavors all work well together. The matcha is dark & you can tell it's great quality. The pistachio croissant had pistachio cream inside & on top; it was the perfect sweetness level :) They also had homemade cookies from a local baker (not pictured but also so good!). Inside is very cozy & cutely decorated with Palestinian decor. The service was quick & the baristas are all so friendly and welcoming. There is on street parking all around it but there is also a parking garage right next door for convenience (not free).

easy to find street parking and in a nice location! i got the cardamom bun and an iced matcha latte with simple syrup. unfortunately both were a miss for me :( the matcha was quite milky and could've been a lot stronger. the bun was also quite dry, and it was still early in the day. overall cute café and nice ambience but could use some improvements. if i come back i would def try one of their lattes cause some of the flavors sound really fun.

Parking ended up being a bit of a walk, which had me second-guessing the decision at first--but I'm glad I stuck with it. The moment I walked in, the space felt thoughtfully designed. The flow of the café is one of the best I've experienced--open, comfortable, and easy to navigate. As soon as the door opened, the barista greeted me right away. The counter is positioned close enough that you don't feel awkward hovering like in some cafés where the bar feels miles away. It immediately felt welcoming. I visited on a weekend during a slower period, but since the café sits right next to a college, I can imagine the line spilling out the door during peak hours. At quieter times though, the layout works well--there's enough space for a couple people to wait without crowding the entrance. I ordered a cortado and an almond croissant. The croissant came warmed, and the texture was spot on: fluffy, layered, and not overly greasy. The almond filling had a really nice balance--nutty with just enough sweetness and a hint of salt to round it out. I was told the pastries are made in-house, and it definitely shows. It tasted like something made with care. The cortado itself was solid--pretty classic, nothing overly fancy. One thoughtful touch I appreciated was that it came with sparkling water, which was great for cleansing the palate. The space itself is fairly spacious and works well if you want a quiet moment to sip your coffee. That said, most of the seating is high stools, so it doesn't really feel like the type of place to settle in and study for hours. Overall, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and quality of the food. The one thing that caught me off guard was the price of the croissant at $6.50. It tasted great and I understand prices in this area tend to run higher, especially for house-made pastries--but it's a bit outside what I'd usually spend. So while I definitely think it's good, it might not become a regular stop for me simply due to location and budget. Still, a great find and a pleasant surprise during a routine coffee run. This is the largest Mercury's Coffee location in Washington. I've been to the Kirkland location, which is drive-thru only, but this café offers a completely different experience. A fun fact is that Mercury's headquarters is located right next door to this location. One of my favorite things is that many of their pastries are made fresh in-house, and you can actually watch the staff preparing them. Their croissants are always a great choice, and I also highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches. They even serve pizza if you're looking for something more filling. When it comes to drinks, Mercury's has some of my favorite organic coffee beverages. The Caramel Macchiato is my go-to and one of the best drinks on the menu. The café has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place to meet up with friends, study, or get some work done. It's easily twice the size of the Redmond or Kirkland locations, so it feels much more spacious and comfortable. The staff are always friendly, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the overall experience is consistently excellent. If you're in Bellevue and looking for a great local coffee shop with delicious food, fresh pastries, and plenty of space to relax, I would definitely recommend stopping by this Mercury's location.

After being recommended Bellden Cafe by a foodie friend for a quick meal, we headed over to get some takeout to eat during the game. Mr. Brioche ($11) - This sandwich starts with a rich toasted brioche bun, which is then slathered with some creamy and fatty aioli. A soft and tender, spiced breakfast patty is placed on top, charred just a tad to give some browning and develop flavor. Some eggs, cooked on the flat top in a circular mold which makes it perfectly conform to the size of the bun, is carefully placed on top of the meat, and then finally some swiss cheese cements the sweet vegetal microgreens atop. The bun is voluminous, especially noteworthy in height. The interior ingredients only reaches perhaps 1/3 the height of the bun, making it appear that the sandwich will be dry. But that's an impression soon deemed to be false, as there's more than enough moisture from the aioli and melted cheese to smooth things over. (4/5) I don't normally associate cafes, particularly ones that seem to lean more towards the drink side of things, to also serve good food. But overall, I came out pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food I ate. Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

Because they brew each cup on order, I expected the tea to be more apparent, but in every drink I've tried it takes a backseat to other flavors. + DONG DING OOLONG TEA LATTE: I opted for light sugar and light ice. Despite being one of the most popular drinks, the tea flavor was weak and the cream dominated. It had a smooth consistency with subtle caramel notes, so it still tasted good, but I would have loved for the tea to shine more. At least the $1 addition of boba is pretty generous and I had enough for every sip! It was perfectly cooked with that nice chewy bounce. Since the boba itself is sweetened, going to 0% sweetness would probably be just sweet enough for me. + OSMANTHUS TEA w/ PASSIONFRUIT: Again, this leaned heavily toward the passionfruit rather than delivering a distinct tea flavor. (Side note: At the register, I received a sample of the High Mountain Pouchong Tea with Mango. This was sweet, super fruity and reminded me of mango nectar. It's really delicious, but only had a tiny hint of green tea.) + OSMANTHUS OOLONG HONEY TEA: I selected light sugar and light ice without toppings, hoping to taste the pure tea. I picked up the floral notes of the Osmanthus and the tea flavor came through a wee bit more than the other drinks, though still wasn't the dominant flavor. The amount of honey was on the verge of being too sweet, but the drink overall was refreshing and crisp. The new location in Bellevue Square is very clean with a few tables for two along the wall. It is consistently busy, so just be prepared for a wait. However, there are multiple employees preparing the drinks, so while the line appears long, they churn out orders pretty quickly without getting flustered. It's impressive! Given the steep pricing for the cup size and the weak tea flavor, Chicha San Chen wouldn't be my go-to spot considering all the other boba tea options in Bellevue.
