Fun and easy burger place. Very tasty food and quick service! 10/10 recommend for a nice bite for lunch!

Grilled chicken sandwich, French fries, yellow rice and 1 Snapple zero bottle of tea.

While the food was good, it was expensive. This was $44. I just stopped for a quick lunch. Chicken sandwich, French fries ($8) and yellow rice. I didn't want the Cole slaw so I had to pay for the rice. The bottle of tea, Snapple zero, was $4.00. That is ketchup and mustard in the middle I had to do, since no bottles on the table, you have to put it in a small container and bring to the table.

Kosher mid eastern bbq spot that from outside or in you could not would not know. Farroush salad, challah, pulled brisket it's all one cultural mash up and I love it. Only in the US

My wife, kids and I visited Miami over Thanksgiving and ate at Dixie BBQ for the first time. We absolutely loved it! The Texas Hold 'Em Burger was crispy and grilled to perfection. The sauce really brings out extra flavor. The chicken sandwich was delicious as well. Nice outdoor seating, and very family friendly!

Really want to love it but after spending $60 I'd especially some nice and fresh burgers with good quality, but not for this one. We left kind of upset. Not coming back for sure

Have been driving by this place & decided to stop in for lunch today. Clean, quick service, yummy food. Onion rings were super hot so I spread them out to cool them off. How often does that happen?? Bbq beef on both sandwiches was perfect, not fatty. The most beautiful tomatoes on the sandwiches too! I had the bbq Joe, which also has the most luscious coleslaw ever on it. I will be back!!

I have been coming here every other week for the last couple of months. The food has been getting better and better every single time, always consistent. I get the Dixie classic burger combo. The owner is super friendly. They have a few outdoor tables and plenty of street parking.

Pulled BBQ brisket and yellow rice

Being a barbecue restaurant I was hoping for barbecue brisket platter but they don't have sliced brisket only shredded brisket in a sandwich and all sides are fried so they placed their shredded brisket on a paper tray and I ordered a side of rice. Disappointing.

Ah my pulled sandwich so good

The food was okay, but the service was terrible. Asked for a minute to order and another guy came to serve us with a bad attitude.

Very expensive and the food is over cooked but they do have tasty slushy drinks made with real fruits so they earned a second star.

Mediocre Food, Insultingly Small Portions and Poor Service…read more Unfortunately, Komodo was a major disappointment. The food was mediocre--especially for a Miami Spice menu--and nowhere near the upscale experience we expected. After spending almost $400 for my husband and I, I would have expected more. The portions were insultingly tiny, with the exception of the chicken salad. The salmon tacos contained what tasted like salmon "paste," and each taco shell was barely two inches long. They were so ridiculously small that even our waiter chuckled. The "half Maine lobster" was about the size of a jumbo shrimp, with no claw. The main course came with no sides so for $65 jumbo shrimp that was it. If you actually want a meal expect to pay extra for "fried" rice that was super bland and churrasco 10 oz extra at $12. So my steak meal was $87 and for that I could have had a real upscale experience at Daniel's in the Gables with upscale service and food. The experience started poorly when the four of us were seated at an awkward, cramped table with no legroom. We were positioned facing outward instead of toward one another, making normal conversation nearly impossible. It was a very strange setup for a party of four. Also, it was very warm in the restaurant and I would have asked to adjust but at the look at the servers face and everyone else I was afraid to say anything that something would happen to my food. The hostess also forgot to give us the Miami Spice menu. As soon as we requested it, the waiter's attitude noticeably changed, and the service went downhill from there. By the end of the night, the restaurant was overcrowded, with a very young crowd pouring into the bar area, and everything felt disorganized and poorly managed. Miami Spice used to be a wonderful way to experience Miami's better restaurants. Unfortunately, this felt more like a complete rip-off than a special dining experience. Komodo did not deliver the quality, portions, service or atmosphere its prices and reputation suggest. They should not be participating in Miami Spice as they have no upscale food to offer. My only regret is I didn't take pictures for potential customers to see how terrible this experience was and food looked. This was highly disappointing,,,save your money.

It's been a while since I've gone to a restaurant and the service and food quality was so amazing that it literally made me stop in my tracks but here we are! I started with a hot mocha latte. I am a coffee snob and this drink was made to perfection! Absolutely delicious and I didn't want the cup to end! It was the perfect balance of smoothness and warmth and it was sweetened perfectly! For breakfast, I decided to get the mushroom toast and it was amazing! I was skeptical about the ricotta addition but it was spread on the toast like butter, very plentiful and tasty! That along with the other ingredients used made it taste exceptional! Perfect price point too! I was more than satisfied! Last but not least the service by host staff and waiters was top tier. Very attentive and lots of smiles! They genuinely seemed happy to have me and treated me like a guest in their home. I genuinely can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu! Very helpful and he explained all the dishes and was a good advocate for the restaurant. The salatim trio, the persian cucumber, and steak shawarma hummus & pita (one of everyone's favorites) were all great. The local fish ceviche was very good as was the feta & pistachio. For main meals we tried the branzino (2). Also the braised beef short rib was excellent (hearty and moist) and the double cut lamb chop was cooked perfectly.
