If you wait for your vehicle the lobby is very comfortable with lots of amenities including an arcade table! They use a program that texts you updates about your vehicle with pictures, service recommendations, etc. You can use that to approve or deny additional service but they are always happy to talk you through options as well. They are realistic and I never feel taken advantage of as I have at other shops. The prices are very competitive for the area and they offer AAA discounts.

He walked me through the inspection process in detail and let me know that they look beyond just the bare minimum of the state inspection to make sure the car is in good overall shape. My car ended up passing without any issues, but I still left feeling very informed about its condition. Tim took the time to explain what they checked and why. The atmosphere was welcoming and I felt like they actually cared about me as a customer. The state inspection was also done right away, as scheduled, which was a huge plus. Towed to a tire place about an hour south of here (we were headed to NC) where BOTH FRONT TIRES HAD EXPOSED STEEL BELTS ON THE INSIDE EDGES. That clearly did not occur in the intervening week since we were at Ferber's. It is OBVIOUS they didn't even look at the front tires, or they would have seen the exposed steel. I believe they took advantage of my situation due to having to have the car towed there. They charged me $923 to fix two lines of my brakes. They did not replace them. Just cut it in four places and put unions. They charged me over $700 alone in labor for this. They then threw on a "shop supply" fee of $70 at the end. I had to call them and get it off. To quote someone then add another $70 to that quote for a "shop supply" fee is unethical. I've taken my car to several dealerships and mechanics and have never had this happen. If you want fast service this is the place. Just be prepared to put down a decent amount of money for fast and easy work.
