HOW SAD... I've been bringing my(3) cars there for years... Never have they MENTIONED...IF WE LOOK AT YOUR VEHICLE WE CHARGE ALMOST $80. I just Left after trying to pick up my Jeep. Hopefully a manager or OWNER will take care of this. I didn't agree to pay for addl services... no one said at anytime WE CHARGE TO POSSIBLY GET YOUR WORK ON YOUR VEHICLE!! And Ricky....needs a refresher course on how to smile...be pleasant and how to speak to a customer. It always amazes me these days...how a business stays in business when these surprise charges are put on your bill. I get to choose to pay...but they must tell you up front they are going to charge to look at your vehicle while it's in for an oil change and inspection.

Sorry to read that some have not had that same experience. I believe that any business can have a bad day so I'll grant that to those who took the time to write about their experience. However, for over 30 years I have trusted them with all of our vehicles because of their service and honesty. I have never purchased tires from anywhere else because their price are always competitive. We keep our vehicles until they are on their last life and Seredni has helped us at every step with honest recommendations. My family understands that you will have two types of payments: a new car bill for years or repair/maintenance bills. I feel that we can control the repair bills much better. I must say that here was a time that one of the coustomer service (counter) workers was not "up to my customer service expectation" but he is long gone. I always get a detailed call from the mechanic/front desk (mainly Ricky) regarding the cost of the recommended repair so that I can make an informed decision. My only sad point is that I miss Joe who was our mechanic for many years but understand that he was promoted, which he deserved, and moved to another Seredni shop. They are talented mechanics and professionals at the desk which I am proud to call MY SHOP!

Close to my overnight destination, I managed to 'limp' car there after a couple cycling stops for engine to cool. at 81 years old I became veryworries & anxious about what to do! Once i found & contacted Malcolm, he agreed to come out right away - in the dark, and in freezing temperature to help me out. And INDEED he did! He was able to identify the problem, fix it, & do a couple tests to make sure. He was truly a GODSEND. And this guy KNOWS his stuff! His fee was reasonable & fair - a great value. I had it looked at by three different mechanics in Richmond area. All gave me a list of things that needs replaced. Each one's list was different things to be replaced. None of their suggestions sounded right to me. After looking on Yelp I found Mr. Kweleme. Mr. Kweleme replaced two of my vehicle's spark plugs and changed the engine oil and it fixed the issue. I also asked his opinion on the other things mentioned by the previous mechanics, and except one thing, everything else that was told by other mechanics was not necessary. Mr. Kweleme confirmed those parts are in good condition and explained why he thinks they need no replacement. I think Mr. Kweleme is also charges resonably. Thank you Mr. Kweleme!

AAA and Lyft provided transportation for our family and the vehicle towing. We were so lucky to have been given a recommendation for Timberlake Automotive! We left the vehicle at 2:30 AM and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. My husband called at 7:30 AM and James Timberlake came right over to get the keys. As we suspected it was the water pump. These wonderful professionals had the part and the repairs complete before noon at a very reasonable price. And James delivered it back to us! I just can't say enough about how this positive resolution to a very disruptive situation saved our vacation trip! As I said, no one wants to need a mechanic but be assured that Timberlake Automotive is a safe, efficient, reliable, and reasonable selection! Try them out!

However, it was poured out of an unmarked reusable plastic container, so it could have been anything. I make a comment on why am I paying for a service when nothing was done. I go home to change my filthy filter and lo and behold the one in my car was NOT the one he showed me and was barely dirty. Why cant people just be honest? Besides that, every time we would go they try to UP SALE us on unnecessary repairs! Upon arriving to pick up my car they told me my Honda Care had expired and failed to tell me before servicing the car so what I expected to be FREE was $133.40!!! They should have called us prior to doing work and notified us at our March visit that our Honda Care was about to expire. All this place cares about is BLEEDING their customers dry of money!! We…read morescheduled our appointment online & they had plenty of availability unlike a few of their competitors in the area. We got there and were checked in immediately. During the inspection, several maintenance items were suggested to be done. She did it & they were nice enough to give her a few discounts on service. She spent more than she wanted to, but they were nice. The waiting area was spacious & clean. They don't offer complimentary snacks like I'm used to though & they didn't have much to choose from that day in their snack machine. You get kind of hungry waiting hours for car repairs. They need to look into offering snacks. All in all, it was a great visit. I'm sure we will be back.
