I was on a work trip and was looking for a good place to eat dinner. I found this place through yelp and a social media influencer. When I entered the restaurant I was greeted by staff. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I order the dizzy bird bowl. The bowl had rice, greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, pita chips, tzatziki and grilled chicken. I requested garlic sauce on the side. The bowl was phenomenal and all of the ingredients came together nicely. The ambiance is customer friendly and plenty of seating. Great food! Both my husband & I had the chicken breast with 2 sides. Chicken is very moist and flavorful. Their lemon potatoes are amazing. But it would be better if they'd give me a bit more of it. I got a very small serving of potatoes. :( My husband had the salad & potatoes as sides, and he also thought the food was really good. I have recently introduced him to Lebanese foods, which we found out tonight, Dizzy Bird's owner is actually the same owner as Falasophy Irvine Spectrum. So we are so glad we can get it right here, at MV mall, instead of driving to the Irvine Spectrum. We were looking for a healthy lunch while at the mall and decided to check out Dizzy Bird. We chatted with the owner and found out it's the same guy who also owns Falasophy at irvine spectrum. What really stood out to me is that the owner is right here working with the crew, taking orders and making sure the business thrives. His truck (falasophy) also used to come to my man's work, so it's really nice to see how much he has grown from a truck, to now 2 storefronts at 2 of so cals busiest malls. Bravo! This place came highly recommended, so I had to give it a try and it was well worth it. While it's a little tough to access due to being in the middle of the mission viejo mall in the food court, it was worth the hike from the parking lot. I got the silly bird wrap and really enjoyed it. The sauce it comes with is a MUST try; it made it so much better! I was excited to try this place but got home and was disappointed. I paid for extra chicken and definitely did not get it. What I did get is two small pieces of bones and gristle. Not appetizing and not worth $22. I heard good things but I think it was paid social posts or maybe because I ordered at 7:20pm. Either way I don't think I can recommend anything but the toum. Social media brought me here and they weren't lying about this one - Dizzy Bird IS as good as it gets. From juicy rotisserie chicken, yummy sauces and memorable side dishes - they really thought of everything! The most surprising part about it is that it's located at the Mission Viejo mall food court, like who would've thought?! Their chargrilled wraps are a good quick bite and are packed with a generous amount of chicken, garlic sauce and their house sauce. Their platters are a good portion too and comes with two sides. I really enjoy their roasted potatoes that have the perfect amount of seasoning, and taste even better with their DB sauce. Dizzy Bird is located at the food court of the Mission Viejo Mall. Honestly I didn't think I'd get such a good find at a food court in a mall of all places but it was a pleasant surprise. Lebanese Rotisserie Chicken that is seasoned and cooked to juicy perfection here. You have options of plates, wraps, or salad and I was craving the half chicken plate which comes with pita, sauce and 2 sides of your choice. My choices were potatoes and rice. The chicken was tender and juicy and I loved the seasoning. The rice was a little dry and cold but I think I'd get a different side next time, maybe a corn on the cob or a salad. But definitely rub that delicious garlic sauce on everything as it made the dish even better. While waiting I got to sample their chicken wrap and that's definitely something I would try next time I come here. read more

I'm usually a big fan of Dizzy Bird, but the cashier at the Mission Viejo location at ~5 PM on 12/22 misgendered my partner and made the situation uncomfortable by dwelling on the mistake and poorly attempting to make it a joke. That customer service mistake directly lost our business, as we left and decided not to return. In the future, please train employees to use gender-neutral greetings like "friend" as opposed to the very outdated "sir" and "ma'am" to avoid negative guest service situations. read more

The shared wrap was plenty of food for the two of us but if you had a big appetite you could finish the whole sandwich. I went here on Saturday for the first time. We went to the Mission Viejo mall just to eat here after seeing a YouTube recommending Dizzy Bird among a list of great places to eat in Orange County. We both ordered the Hot Bird, and it came in a grilled crispy wrap and had rotisserie chicken in it. The chicken was excellent and the spicy flavors and jalapenos within were mouth watering. Ample as the wrap was (it's big and delightfully messy and comes in a fun paper cone to catch sauce drips), I wanted another one. My husband got fries for a side which were hot and crispy and had yummy seasoning. My baked sweet potato side was unexciting and standard. I would get fries next time! But thie wraps -- "HELLO!". said my taste buds. This is my first time trying Lebanese food. I will come back. I want to try the salad too but it will be hard to pass on having that wrap again. It's so yummy! It's fun and relaxing to people watch facing the mall foot traffic while you eat. Then we strolled the Mission Viejo mall which feels old but in a fun nostalgic way and browsed its novelty toy stores (think Spencer's Gifts if you remember what those were like). This fit the bill for my idea of a low-key fun afternoon. I will definitely be returning to Dizzy Bird. read more
