Roast beef sandwich! The New York
    Eden M.

I just ate here and they have the deli sandwich! Five heart rating all the way! The sandwiches were so good and fresh! Very cute little deli! Perfect for lunch! Staff was very friendly and welcoming! I'm definitely coming back! And they are open on the 4th of July!

We love the Philly cheesesteak here! Normally I call and it's ready within 20 min. Friendly and parking is also easy! My husband like the bbq fries.

The Philly Cheese. Tender steak, gooey melted cheese, grilled peppers, mushrooms, onions, & mayo, all in a soft, slightly crisp roll.

My ever-reliable foodie sidekick made the dinner run this time because... he's better at picking up food than I am. How is that possible? He doesn't come back irritated that he had to pick up dinner like I do. So, first time trying out Bronx Sandwiches and let me say... they don't just make sandwiches, they turn humble ingredients into something remarkably satisfying! THE FOOD. - The Philly Cheese. Slices of tender and flavorful steak, gooey melted cheese, grilled peppers, mushrooms, onions, and mayo, all tucked into a soft, slightly crispy roll that held together quite well. Highly recommend. - Potato & Egg Salad. I ordered a baby size and I regret it. This thing was sweet, creamy, and unashamedly comforting. I don't know why it was so delicious, but it was and I highly recommend this as well (get the larger adult size). - French Fries. On the thinner side, but no complaints here. Perfectly crisp and slightly salty. THE VERDICT. While the Philly Cheese Steak stole the spotlight, the potato salad and fries held their own. Well worth it to go back and try other sandwiches.

You guys... get over to this sandwich spot immediately!!! Huge sandwich person and Italian here -- this is the best and most authentic sandwich place I've found in southern Orange County. I'm extremely particular with my grinder sandwiches and this one checked every box. Perfectly sauced, amazing crispy Italian roll, super thinly sliced lettuce-- just incredible flavors all around. Tastes like my favorite Italian deli I used to go to in LA (Capri). My husband got the east coast pastrami and oh my... it lives up to its name! Best pastrami sandwich we've had since Catz in NY. Attentive, friendly and quick service. Clean, simple and vaguely resembling a NY deli for the interior. So impressed. Will be returning here soon and frequently thereafter.

Solid new spot in Mission Viejo across from Saddleback College. I love a NY pastrami and although this isn't it still a great sandwich nonetheless. The meat is like steaky in texture and with Swiss cheese (add on) and mustard you can't go wrong. My only recommendation is for them to go with a true rye bread and not this one that has like sesame seeds and grains on the corners. The service is great and they are very courteous. I'm sure a lot of students and faculty will start coming here if they haven't started already. Will come again.

I had the New York sandwich. The roast beef was shaved and it was delicious. I couldn't find any fat. I asked for extra mayo and they didn't forget. The sourdough bread was grilled upon my request and it was prepared just right. I would eat here again.

    Just Fries, $3.75

Bronx Sandwich has long been on my list of sandwiches to check out. I ordered "The Boss" ($12.49), Just Fries ($3.75), and a Giant Black & White Cookie ($3.99). The generous sandwich (adequate to share) was securely and neatly wrapped, and attractive in presentation. For me, the bread elevates the sandwich; their baguette has a nice, delicate crunch on the exterior, with a soft-&-chewy interior. The sandwich had a decent amount of stacked ingredients, requiring me to open my mouth wide in order to take a bite; while I enjoyed my sandwich, my thoughts are that my sandwich would have tasted better with increased tang and acidity from more red onions and Italian dressing (barely detected either). I'm selective about fries; these (especially fresh-off-the-fryer) were satisfyingly hot and tasty (delicate crunchy exterior with tender interior... mmm!)! I found their Black & White cookie fun, but not an item I'm longing to reorder. The small interior is clean and comfortable, offering a total of 20 chairs, mainly 2-4 person tables (which includes a high-top table which seats 4). Glad to have finally experienced Bronx, and to have another sandwich option.

So good!! Super clean inside with friendly employees. Both of our sandwiches were delicious. The sandwiches are huge! Best bread hands down. We will definitely be back.

    Philly Cheesesteak

Was passing through the area and grabbed lunch here. Excellent find. Clean establishment and friendly staff. Best part are the sandwiches. Hands down the best Ruben and Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches I've had. And I just tried the famous Cheesesteak from Philly in Philly, as well as local spots known for it there. Either way, I would recommend you come give them a try for yourself and be the judge.

Turkey Sandwich, and fresh made chips
    Phong L.

Bronx Sandwich in Mission Viejo is hands down my favorite sandwich spot in the OC. I dropped in on a Friday off, and even though the menu had everything from pastrami to shrimp po' boys, I went with a classic turkey sandwich -- and wow. The bread was unbelievably fresh, fluffy, and moist, packed with plenty of turkey and all the right toppings. I ordered the full size but could only finish half -- it's that generous. To top it off, the owner threw in some freshly made chips... and let me tell you, I've never had anything like them. Crunchy, flavorful, and just ridiculously good. I'll definitely be coming back. This place is a gem!

Tucked inside Avery Plaza, Bronx Sandwich Company has truly won the hearts of locals--and now mine too. This plaza continues to grow with great restaurants serving the community, and Bronx Sandwich is no exception. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to see how many local families were supporting the spot. While waiting in line, I noticed how clean and well-organized the interior was, with plenty of seating for guests to enjoy their meals comfortably--especially appreciated in the hot weather. I asked for some recommendations and ended up ordering The Hitman--and wow, it lived up to its name! A killer sandwich packed with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. I also tried the Philly Cheesesteak, which was phenomenal. The house-made potato chips were another highlight--crispy, fresh, and not greasy at all. What made the experience even more memorable was the owner personally checking in with guests outside, making sure everyone was satisfied. It's always special when you can feel the care behind the food, and it definitely enhances the whole experience. Can't wait to come back and try more from the menu!

We originally found it through Yelp and saw people raving about the homemade food and it absolutely lived up to the reviews. I ordered the Denver omelet and it was excellent. The eggs were perfectly airy and creamy without being runny. The flavor was simple but spot on and the avocado paired really well with it. Nothing felt off or overdone. We also tried a few other dishes at the table. The chilaquiles were fantastic. The tortilla chips had a great crunch and were not soggy at all. Even though they looked heavily sauced in pictures the ratio was actually perfect. Enough salsa for flavor while still keeping the chips crispy. The salsa itself was very good and the egg on top was perfectly runny and yolky which was a big plus. The version with added cheese was also great. Service really stood out. One of our friends asked for no cheese on their chilaquiles and it accidentally came out with cheese. The staff handled it so kindly. They took it back immediately and as an apology one of the owners or cooks came out personally and brought us complimentary pancakes. That small gesture really showed how much they care. The owners were incredibly sweet and kept checking in asking if everything was good and sharing how much care and time they put into making everything homemade. You could genuinely feel that passion.
