I paid for the $30 service, left a $10 tip on top of the wash price, and drove away expecting my vehicle to be treated with reasonable care. Unfortunately, after arriving home I discovered damage to a plastic component on the truck that I know was not present before my visit. To make matters worse, after driving away, I also noticed that my rear windshield had not even been properly cleaned. For a business that advertises "full service", that level of attention to detail is unacceptable. The manager offered to re-wipe the windshield but it was already too late at that point. That wasn't the reason I took extra time to drive back nor what I was looking for. It should've been done right at first once I paid, tipped and before driving off. I was not looking for compensation or trying to create an issue where none existed. My only goal was to bring the concern to their attention and encourage greater care with customers' vehicles. However, when I returned and showed the damage, my concerns were immediately dismissed. The explanation I was given was that if the damage had been caused during the wash, the roof of the truck would have been damaged as well. That reasoning simply does not hold up. The damaged area is plastic, while the roof is metal. Different materials wear and react differently under stress. In fact, the most likely explanation is that equipment such as the wash brushes or wipers was operating at excessive speed or pressure, causing contact with and damage to the plastic component without affecting the metal roof. What I found most frustrating was being asked to return and show the vehicle in person, only to have any possibility of responsibility rejected without meaningful consideration. Businesses do not earn trust by being perfect--they earn trust by taking customer concerns seriously and handling them professionally. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. I wish I would've read the reviews before giving this place a try because after reading some of the recent reviews on this business, I can see i'm not the only one who has had a negative experience. Just after reading a few comments, people are reporting the same issues I had with this business. Between the damage concern, the incomplete wash, and the complete lack of accountability afterward, this was an experience I cannot recommend. This was my first visit, and it will also be my last.

It was an old style car wash that just had a single tire guide rail on the left that would grab your car tire and pull it forward. I immediately was leery. I should've trusted my gut instinct. The store operator actually came over to help guide me between the left tire rails. I was following his directions and I could feel my tire rub, so I stopped the car and said something wasn't right. He told me to keep moving forward. As I did, I heard a plastic crunching sound. I stopped and got out of the car and sure enough the rails had completely smashed my front left wheel hubcap! The operator acted perplexed with an oops look on his face. He refused to take responsibility when he was the one guiding me into the rails. He pointed to a sign on the wall that said they are not responsible for any damage. He also refused to give me the name or contact info of the store owner. He proceeded to get on the phone and speak in a Middle Eastern language with somebody who was likely the owner, and then came back to me and said he was not allowed to give me their contact info. They refused to take any responsibility for the damage. Even though it's only a $60 hub cap, they have lost my fuel gas business for evermore, which will be worth much more to them over time than the $60 hubcap that they should've taken responsibility for. Thousand Oaks Auto Detailing is priced very reasonably, I decided to go with them for my first time detailing my car. Victor was very communicative when booking a date via call and text! When the day came, Victor and his team arrived 30 minutes earlier, but let me know that I didn't need to rush if I wasn't ready. Once I got all my things out, they went straight to business. The team was very thorough and Victor was very honest on certain small spots I pointed out that he can't fix and didn't want to damage more if he tried which I totally understand. But having kids and a St. Bernard whose hair is impossible to get out of any fabric.. they got it all out! With the overall service, friendliness, attention to detail, price? I'm very impressed! It's a darker color, so shows dust and road grit pretty readily. It was the evening before Easter and we were going to family dinner the next day, so I wanted to have a clean ride. Mission accomplished! I felt better driving home being able to see clearly out of the windshield and seeing the sparkling finish for the car made me smile. We have the monthly subscription and use it regularly. Our area gets the inland version of marine layer sometimes, and that causes dust to cling to the car's finish. LUV Car Wash is a great way to wash it away.

I have been to this business using their spray wash on my motorcycles for about 30 years now…read more Always satisfied. Today, for first time ever, I drove my car there and used their vacuum to clean out first and dust from my car's interior. Complete waste of my time and money. Virtually no suction. I checked and the hose had no kinks but even picking up small pieces of dirt or lint and putting it into vacuum nozzle barely sucked it up. Fortunately it was only $2 of my money ($1.50 minimum and I added two extra quarters to get more time). This happened on farthest west vacuum in lot on Saturday at 3PM April 19, 2025. I will never waste my time trying to use these useless vacuums again. However I will continue to spray wash my motorcycles there as that service has always been good.

Minor stain still on the cloth along with an easily removable food stain on the leather. Trunk completely untouched until I asked him about it, and he seemed annoyed I asked him to take care of it. Bugs still on the bumper after the wash. Seats wet, no warning no plastic. Would have been nice to give me a heads up to keep the windows open over night to prevent mold. Expected more, got less than the bare minimum.
