One of the laziest hand washes I've ever received paid to have wheels cleaned and a wax the guy scrubbed two of my wheels for about two seconds apiece and that was it hand washers took about three seconds over the car bunch of spots left overall pre-disappointed with how lazy they have become I remember this place being top-tier left pretty disappointed. Feel like I'm getting ripped off when I spend $85 for a wash and seat cleaning and I come home to vacuum some more, buff the leather, clean the air vents, and clean the center console. Minor stain still on the cloth along with an easily removable food stain on the leather. Trunk completely untouched until I asked him about it, and he seemed annoyed I asked him to take care of it. Bugs still on the bumper after the wash. Seats wet, no warning no plastic. Would have been nice to give me a heads up to keep the windows open over night to prevent mold. When you can't even manage the bare minimum. The only thing they did was clean the outside and the driver side mat. Everything else was still dirty. There were still dust all over the dashboard and underneath the steering wheel and basically everywhere else in the car. There were crumbs still all over the carpet as well. I even tip them. I've been going here for a while and putting up with subpar service because it's close to my home but I think I've had enough. I'm tired of asking them to complete the job that I've already paid for. And tipping them on top of that. Never coming here again. read more

I have been coming to this carwash for years. I have 5 family members plus myself who all pay for the unlimited carwash. We get our cars washed at least once a week, so the unlimited package is worth it. They provide great service vacuuming, washing, waxing, and air drying the cars (this prevents the water from dripping and streaking the windows). They all greet me when I pull up to when I'm leaving. I always tip because they are very friendly, accommodating, and hard working. Every car I have looks brand new and smells good. read more

I have been here 3 times since issues with ICE in the area but have not seen disruption at this location. Service has been prompt, everyone is polite and working hard. My car is well cleaned, I am a satisfied customer. It's a bit difficult to predict when they will be busy, but most recently at 4pm on Sat it is not busy. read more

I joined Sparkling Image's monthly service for my sports car because I needed a hand wash facility. Huge disappointment. The employees barely touch the car, the "hand wash" feels rushed and lazy, and my car still comes out dirty almost every time. When I complained, I was told to "just go through twice." For the high monthly price, the service is unacceptable. I highly recommend going somewhere else where your car actually comes out clean. read more

There is another Sparkling Image Car Wash located on Moorpark Rd. It is my personal opinion that the Moorpark location has friendlier service. When a consumer is paying $50.00 for a carwash I think it is important for employees to value each client that visits the establishment, because most of the time customers will notice friendly service and remember people that lack the ability to offer a welcome or a thank you! read more

I have been going to this car wash my entire life living in Thousand Oaks. The people are very nice who work here. But the fact that it took an hour for my car to be washed is insane. Hire more people. Open more than 3 lanes on a SUNDAY. So frustrating and clearly, by the other reviews, I'm not the only customer irritated by this. The service here was phenomenal! I brought my nephew's car for a deep cleaning session. He travels a great deal and had just driven from Texas to California....this car needed tender loving care and team at Sparkling did a great job of restoring the car to a shiny version of itself. The specific detailed spent maybe 30 minutes cleaning the interior and I left what I hope was a generous tip for his effort. Definitely recommend them for servicing or their monthly packages which are a great value for the price. read more

Not pleased with the results of my $32.99 car wash. I was very excited to get my car washed especially my rims as they were pretty bad so I paid extra to have them done. I came home and they were still filthy. Additionally, I opted for vanilla scent - there was nothing added to my car. This place has gone down hill majorly. This has been my go to car wash, however, my last visit was disappointing when I noticed that my $10 bill was missing from the storage space in my jeep. It has been there for four years, as a just in case. And I know it's just $10 and it's one person, but I would hate to have to worry about my valuables Every time I get my car washed. The stars are mainly for their customer service. They were really nice from the beginning however, the quality of the car wash just wasn't great. My dash was still dirty as well as other parts of the car and I didn't the car scent that I picked out in the beginning. Today (10/27/24) I took my 2 month old White Toyota Venza for a carwash at the Sparkling Image Carwash in Thousand Oaks, CA. My 2nd time there. I chose the $35 Car wash. Your computer generaged code on my reciept is 36-1345236 and 635. Once out of the washer, I watched your worker rubbing the side of my car diligently. Knowing how street dirt splashes on the white car, I was conerned he was wasting time. When he signaled he was done, I immediately went to the driver side of my car and saw much of the street filth still on the BRAND NEW WHITE CAR! He did sort of make some effort to improve it. It somewhat helped. Because I am using a walker right now I didn't try to check the right side of the car until I arrived home. And check I did. 2 different spots on my car just after I returned home are shown here: I used a small amount of Dawn and a paper towel and the picture below on the left is the paper towel I used and the right is after a few quick wipes. I think this place is great if you have a new car that's already clean or if you lower your expectations. My experience was I paid a premium price for mediocre service. The vacuum people have one job .... And didn't do that great . I brought it to the attention of the supervisor and she corrected the poor service. . I think she did a good job in that department .. But I also think the lack of supervision and quality control led to this waste of my time . I got the feeling that quantity is the focus not quality. I say , save your money and go elsewhere or do it yourself. It's not a value if it was expensive AND not that great . Spend your money where you're valued and appreciated . read more

Great car war wash! They help keep my car looking fresh and clean, inside and out. Staff has always been super friendly. I typically get the lemon scent inside, sometime I don't always smell it but sometimes I do. But I go there for a nice clean car so two thumbs in my book. Price is very reasonable and I have the membership. So as long as I go at least twice a month it's totally worth it to keep my car looking fresh. Plus I have two kids so it helps getting all the crumbs vacuumed out daily. read more

Lets start with expectations, a car was and vaccuum is not a detail just to make it fair some people posting reviews here might be mistakenly thinking for a price of a wash and vac you are getting a detail! Well that being said I love a clean car inside and out, makes me feel wonderful, the crew here does a wonderful job delivering to my expectations probably over 50 times easy that I have used there service. Now the biggest value going is the monthly plan for around 59 bucks you get unlimited washes which could explain why I love this place. Not waiting until your car is filthy to economize gets eliminated with the monthly plan and gets you in amd out faster because the car is not horribly dirty so thats my take. I do not walk around the car to inpsect the work why ? Because its not a detail folks... Dont hesitate to go on the plan I think you can use the pass at other locations.. I stopped by on a Saturday to have my niece's car detailed (bumper to bumper). The told me 90 minutes to 2 hours. 2.5 hours later, I came back, and it was still not completed. One it was finally completed (about 45 minutes later) the inside looked acceptable but, the outside looked awfully. They clearly did a poor job waxing. Their main goal is servicing the people that just want a standard car wash. I will not be back and think twice before going here for a detail. read more

Trying to be fair here. I get that it isn't going to look like a detail but the interior doesn't look they did ANYTHING. I called and offered a chance to redeem the situation and they offered me to come back but it had to be within 5 days. I wasn't available for that so they left it as is. I think proper management would work a little harder to fix the situation. The exterior was fine and previous visits have also been fine. Never AMAZING but reasonable enough and most convenient location for me but after today, I'm considering doing it myself or looking into a mobile service. It's also VERY telling that the owner will only respond to positive reviews when it should be the other way around. read more

WARNING IF THIS PLACE DAMAGES YOUR CAR BE VERY AWARE...... Been coming here for years. Even have a monthly membership. This morning took my truck in for its normal weekly wash. While the truck we moving through the wash their overhead sprayer fell off and landed on top of my truck hood. They had to shut down the wash and drive my truck out after picking up the sprayer and reattaching back to the tracks. I watched all of this happen in real time. Here's the deal I get accidents happen. But the response is what's concerning. First off they pulled my truck around back to hide it from other customers. Next it took the manager 20 minutes before they would speak to me about it. When the manager finally spoke to me he said here fill out this information report and our corp. office will contact you. I asked for their insurance information. He stated that they do not have insurance they are self insured.........? I said there is no way you have a car wash operating in the state of California with out basic liability insurance. He said that is how we handle it we don't need to get insurance companies involved. I finally told him I wasn't leaving until he provided me with insurance information which he refused to give me again. I finally had to contact the Ventura County Sheriffs. Sheriffs arrived I showed them all the of the damage to the front of the truck. After going back and forth for the 20 minutes with the manager low and behold they gave me a copy of their insurance policy and certificate the one they stated they didn't have. I URGENTLY TELL EVERYONE READING THIS BE VERY VERY CAUTIOUS TAKING YOUR CAR OR TRUCK HERE IF SOMETHING HAPPENS THESE GUYS ARE SHADY TO SAY THE LEAST. The only reason they gave me their insurance information is because the Sheriff basically forced them too. I've canceled my monthly membership and we will NEVER be back to this wash. The best part is when the manager tried to tell me that my truck must of put itself in drive instead of neutral.........ya my truck just threw itself into drive.............do not go here. read more
