Thousand Oaks Auto Detailing is priced very reasonably, I decided to go with them for my first time detailing my car. Victor was very communicative when booking a date via call and text! When the day came, Victor and his team arrived 30 minutes earlier, but let me know that I didn't need to rush if I wasn't ready. Once I got all my things out, they went straight to business. The team was very thorough and Victor was very honest on certain small spots I pointed out that he can't fix and didn't want to damage more if he tried which I totally understand. It's a darker color, so shows dust and road grit pretty readily. It was the evening before Easter and we were going to family dinner the next day, so I wanted to have a clean ride. Mission accomplished! I felt better driving home being able to see clearly out of the windshield and seeing the sparkling finish for the car made me smile. We have the monthly subscription and use it regularly. Our area gets the inland version of marine layer sometimes, and that causes dust to cling to the car's finish. Today, for first time ever, I drove my car there and used their vacuum to clean out first and dust from my car's interior. Complete waste of my time and money. Virtually no suction. I checked and the hose had no kinks but even picking up small pieces of dirt or lint and putting it into vacuum nozzle barely sucked it up. Fortunately it was only $2 of my money ($1.50 minimum and I added two extra quarters to get more time). This happened on farthest west vacuum in lot on Saturday at 3PM April 19, 2025. I will never waste my time trying to use these useless vacuums again. However I will continue to spray wash my motorcycles there as that service has always been good.

I like to write reviews for the tons of good people and places who are worthy. But... sometimes I…read morehave to vent. "Sparkling" Image Car Wash (SICW) needs to step it up big time. I'll try to be brief. I was excited to get my brother's car washed at a quality car wash. I borrowed his car to see a friend and spotted SICW. GREAT! I never mind spending the money when it's worth it. I asked the attendant to give me the straight scoop and he said it will be a great wash. Ok, I said and paid the $39.99 for the works. Keep in mind, I've never paid over $25 for a was so this was extravagant for me. After it came out, and they did their thing, they called me to the car. I handed the attendant a $5 tip. I was about to get into the car and noticed the door sill plate was dirty. I asked for, and received a rag, and started to wipe it down. Then, the more I looked, the more dirt I saw. Ok, let's get it straight, I'm NOT expecting full detailing, but I am expecting a simple wipe down. I found all the door areas and the back hatch were NOT clean. I wiped everything as best as I could and headed out. As I'm driving down the street to the freeway, I look down and the floor mats had loose dirt on them. They didn't even vacuum! Sorry, but for $40, I expect it vacuumed! I turned around and went back. The attendant said he's sorry and he will fix it. I waited while the workers vacuumed again. I Jumped in, and without giving it more of a once over (mistake), I headed back. Much to my disappoint, when I got back to my brother's garage to drop off the car, I noticed that all four rims were filthy. As if they took a rag, ran around each rim quickly, and moved on. Really?! The only way I will ever go back is if they give me a FREE car wash. The only caveat is that I won't tell them when I return. Reason? I'll see how they do, and if it's the same as last time, this review will receive a scathing update. I suggest you keep driving right on by. I'm sure you can select any other car wash and the result will be much more "sparkling" than this excuse for a car wash. Sorry, but it's the truth. To cleaner days ahead.
