The people are descent, not too many sceezy people, a good mix of ages (from 21-50 or so), And if you should be there for karaoke, they are not bad singers either, so you won't go deaf. It was so obvious that other customers tried to intervene. Let me say the 'lightskinned bartender'actually started to cuss out a gentleman that tried to buy me a drink. It was horrible. I left in a gush of wind because, I was truly embarrassed. If I knew the owners, I would of let them know how badly she embarrassed me and I don't even know why. I will not be back and I'm sure my little money won't matter but just think if she is doing this to others. I am suggesting that maybe she should take a break before it gets too crowded. May she she realize that nobody is going to tip her if she is not friendly. She needs a customer service class. Nobody owes her anything, it up to her to create an environment where everyone feels like, comfortable and want to return. LIT.

So, unfortunately, I am having to update my review of AMC Council Bluffs to a 4 star ranking now…read more They recently closed their Dolby and IMAX theaters, I assume to renovate and fix things with those theaters - but ever since they opened the IMAX back up, it has been terrible. The IMAX screen has faint vertical lines all through it and they are very evident when a bright/white scene is playing. (The Fortress of Solitude scene in Superman was unwatchable.) I will say the Dolby theater is still top notch. Great screen and so loud your seat shakes, if you're into that style of sound (I am). AMC Council Bluffs also does have way better snacks than their Omaha Westroads counterpart, so I appreciate that. But I don't go to the movies for the overpriced snacks. It's unfortunate that the IMAX is seemingly in disrepair or needs to be cleaned or something, because we loved that particular theater so much and would travel to CB just for that. But for now, we will see IMAX movies at the Westroads AMC and only head over to Council Bluffs if there is a Dolby screening we want to check out.
