I have hired Taylor's team twice - once for a very weird custom window replacement job n a hard to reach spot and just recently to replace a flat roof with a three ply roof. These guys are great, professional, have met the promised timelines and excellent communicators. Everything is agreed to upfront so there have not been any surprise costs. A tenant who lived in an apartment building I own moved out after 12 years, and the kitchen and bathroom needed remodeling. The City of Beverly Hills requires permits for almost everything, so I needed to find a contractor who could deal with the City and take care of all the plumbing, electrical, new floors, new countertops, new tile work, patching and painting necessary to make the place ready for new tenants. You hear horror stories all the time about poor workmanship, nightmare results, and unfulfilled projects that have to be undone to be redone... it's terrifying. You will NEVER have to worry about ANY of that with DM Brothers. We have a small apartment building that has been around a long time, with a lot of deferred maintenance issues. It has become critical that we begin to identify and address them - a daunting nail-biter on a GOOD day, but one of our tenants accidentally set her place on fire, so fixing that expediently became Job 1. Daniel was not the first contractor we interviewed, but he absolutely was the last. He's direct, thorough, and attentive: he walked the property, pointing out issues he saw and offering potential solutions. He LISTENED to us and our concerns. He didn't rush us, push us, or "sell" us. He left it up to us, with confidence. Of course we hired him! When I tell you that he and his crews (THEIR crews, NOT subcontractors) work FAST, I mean that it's like Santa's elves on Turkish coffee. And their work is IMPECCABLE. They communicate their plans, check in as milestones are achieved, and pass the baton to the next expert on the project. I was looking for a contractor for indoor painting, changing bathroom counter tops from quarts to granite, and miscellaneous changes/fixes (e.g. light fixtures, closet, etc.) and not for a big remodeling such as kitchen and/or bathroom remodeling. I had received several estimates- ranging from very high to low - for remodeling one bathroom and creating a bathroom where previously I had a small powder room. I met with Daniel and explained what I was looking for. Daniel's estimate was somewhere in the middle and I did not feel any pressure from him to go with his company. Daniel was very communicative and responded to all of my texts in a timely manner and he kept me informed on the progress and next steps of the remodel. His crew was professional and did a fabulous job with my tile, plumbing, electrical and flooring throughout the 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. His crews showed up when he said they would and they worked hard, long hours. I wanted everything done legally with permits and inspections and Daniel organized and coordinated all of that. I was working through this whole process and so we had a lockbox installed allowing the crews to come and go as needed. We just bought a house where the only bathroom desperately needed updates and water damage repairs from a leaky toilet.
