The technician was here for 45 minutes, replaced a $30.00 part, and the total charge was almost $400.00. I don't think the $150.00 charge was applied to anything. When we asked for breakdown of the final charges they refused to provide it. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this company if you prefer to deal with a company that offers a transparent pricing, are honest, helpful, and willing to explain their bill.

They have to order the part. Couple of weeks later the same tech is out with the part. He complains to me again about hating to work on Bosch. No word from Mr. Appliance for a couple of weeks so I call them and they tell me the part came in that same day (sure, what a coincidence). But they won't get me on the schedule for over a week. Supposed to be out today between 12-2pm. I call at 2:15 to ask if they are coming, owner Dennis tells me yes. They close at 5. I call close to 5 and ask Dennis again, and he goes on a rant about how Bosch won't pay his guy enough to work on a poorly designed dishwasher. That may be true--but it doesn't excuse the lack of ANY customer service at all. Their own website brags saying "Your local appliance repair technician arrives on-time, every time...". I had to call after weeks of no contact about the part. Then had to call after no contact about missing your appointment. Then had to call a 2nd time that day when they STILL hadn't arrived at closing time. And then to have the owner Dennis get snotty with me and then he even complained just like the tech did about Bosch having poor designs. Wouldn't own up to the error, but offered to come fix the right thing for the cost of that repair. I decided to treat it as a $300 life lesson and pass on having them work on it again. My two expensive and hard earned lessons were: 1.) If an appliance breaks or something you own needs repaired, do a little online research and determine what the likely causes are before you call for service. My husband did a quick Google search and said nowhere did it say that the part Metro Appliance replaced was related to that issue, and 2.) Don't use Metro Appliance for repairs. I understand mistakes. I make them. None of us is infallible. But at least own it and make it right.
