His pricing was the best out of five contractors I spoke with very reasonable and honest. We had to delay our project for several months due to finances, and even after half a year, he still honored his original quote from the spring. He even included some materials for free, like the replacement baseboard. Our kids' playroom needed a drywall section (about 4 ft × 2 ft under the window) removed to inspect for leaks. Divar repaired it perfectly, added insulation, matched the wall texture flawlessly, matched the pastel pink paint exactly, installed new baseboard, and kept the work area spotless. He finished in the two days he promised and even left extra paint for future touch-ups. It was a real pleasure working with him. But he also provided helpful consultation to paint the faux side shutters too, since the fading over time would render the faux shutters a different color than the newly painted top shutters. Super helpful! Since we only had discussed the top shutters, he threw in the faux shutters at a minimal cost to me. The job itself was done super quickly and cleanly too. He answered all my questions and kept constant communication through phone and text. I got multiple quotes, and his was right in the middle. Prep process Divar and his helper, Lomo, arrived on time and protected the floors, stairs, and furniture with plastic. They taped off the baseboards, removed all the light switch covers, pulled down the recessed lighting, and caulked all the corners and holes. Paint process They primed all new surfaces and applied two coats of Sherwin-Williams paint. I watched them paint, and they were fast, controlled, and accurate with their work. Divar and his crew did a very thorough, detailed and professional paint job on our old and new kitchen cabinets, which required a lot of work, as the older cabinets were in pretty rough shape and had to be sanded down. We were so impressed that we had Divar and his guys paint the exterior of our house, which again required a lot of prep work, including replacing old/rotten wood. Our house now looks brand new. For both jobs, Divar recommended some great colors and provided all of the high quality paint. The work was done in a timely manner and the guys even worked on the weekends to make sure everything was perfect.
