However, recently we have used their pick up-catering and this lead to writing a Yelp review. We have ordered their wraps twice in the past 3 months for gatherings. The quality and presentation were great. Guests praised the taste and ate every one. You pick assortment; $72. a tray. We also ordered mini muffins and croissants. The muffins were not worth the cost. Fresh Market has good sales each week and a frequent customer reward program. We were big fans of their signature healthy store made chicken salad. In the past, I would pick up "meal plates with one protein and two sides" when they were on sale on Tuesdays. Other Pluses: The selection of premium coffees bagged and ready to grind is extensive. This is a haute cuisine place that is masked by the casual dining atmosphere. Seriously: top notch chef, original recipes, a core dedication to quality seafood, paired with a fresh fish counter and some prepared food to go. We usually go for something special, but tonight I decided to get an old childhood standby, fried clams (the Boston Basket) and the fish burger sandwich. I did not expect either to be as transportive as they turned out to be. The fried clams were as delicately done as I've ever had: not crispy, but not too floppy, with excellent breading. And while I prefer my clams naked, we tried all three of the dipping sauces -- a remoulade, tartar sauce, and cocktail sauce. Now normally I loathe cocktail sauce and can take tartar sauce or leave it, so I figured we'd eat up the remoulade and ignore the other two. Still, I gave them little nibbles. Man! The cocktail sauce was like no other I've had, with a heavy hint of horseradish and a far fresher flavor than I've ever had. Then the tartar sauce -- genius! It had a delicate spicing, with capers providing a floral backdrop. That was only a preliminary, as the fish burger proved to be complex, with hints of multiple kinds of fish, and a fennel-based spicing. I ended up having that afterglow, as if I'd had a couple of cocktails and was sitting next to a fireplace, that is the hallmark of truly fine food at an advanced level. We also had the usual outstanding service, attentive without being pushy. I seriously think Hooked should consider splitting into two restaurants: one where the ambiance is upgraded to match the high caliber of the food, and another cheaper one that is strictly fast casual and takeout, and they'd more than double the business. There is a restaurant back where we come from in California, Turtle Bay, that did this with fine dining on one side and the quick, simple, and affordable food on the other side, with a big shared kitchen between them but with completely separate ambiances. It was airy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. My only issue with the lobster roll was that it needed more mayonnaise. In the same manner, the fries were phenomenal. To make plain, the fries were scorching hot and seasoned to perfection. Also, they had a crispy exterior with a fluffy interior. These were simply great fries. Essentially, Hooked offers great lobster rolls and fries.

Some clothes or shawls were hanging on the side room's wall. In the back I thought I saw a chicken being butchered through the doorway, but my wife suggested it might be a lamb shank. Regardless, this is a Halal meat market and the faint of heart should not look in the back. The front counter had some cookies and such, and the store owner offered me a free fried dough item. I gladly accepted his generous gift, though it turned out to be a solid blob of dough without a hint of sugar or sweetness or spice. Since I am rarely looking for Indian spices, I doubt I will be back. However, it was a clean store with a friendly owner and I wish them well.

A comparable Lasagna at WF was $13.99! Really? Same size. --Many aisles were blocked with very large carts used by staff for restocking. Traffic jams! See photo. --Stock is displayed on shelving that goes from floor level to about 10 plus feet high! You need to get someone with a picker tool to reach items on top shelves. It was uncomfortable to get the items practically on the floor on the lower shelves. Not accessible to those with back issues. See photo. --Fewer staff on floor available to answer questions. --One check out station. I had planned on getting some prepared food from the self serve food section, but at 11:20 am none of it was out on the steam table. Salad Bar was available, but did not interest me today. I will continue to be a regular at TJs and only go to WF if necessary. TJs provides a more pleasant shopping experience with better prices.

I'm a HUGE fan of chocolate peanut butter pie so you know I have to judge. This one was ok but nowhere near as good as the one I make at home. The chocolate crust was VERY dry and was all crumbs when I put my fork into it. I had to use the filling as a paste to get the crust in one bite. The flavor was eh. You can definitely tell that they use healthier ingredients which makes it lack in good flavor. When I make it at home the crust is never crumbly and the flavor tastes like actual peanut butter and chocolate, not like a diet taste. Probably wouldn't get it again. It comes off as a fake chocolate peanut butter pie and it's not worth the calories. Next time I'll just get a Snickers bar or something from the mall next door.
