JD is an amazing artist. I wanted a tattoo in memory of my dog Luna who had passed away in 2020. So I wanted a crescent moon. I sent him 3 pics of ideas I liked and JD totally made it his own and drew me something that I absolutely loved. His style is so detailed and beautiful. The best experience I've ever had at a tattoo studio. Lily did such an amazing job! She was super nice and put me right at ease. The piece I was getting was in memory of a loved one. I stumbled upon Dora's feed on Instagram and instantly fell in love with her work. I wasn't looking for a tattoo but I knew I had to get something done by her and I don't regret it. I flew from the Bay to LA which sounds crazy for a tattoo, but going to Dora and the finished piece made everything so worth it. This studio feels so welcoming with the plants at the front and they keep it very clean. Probably one of the cleanest and most sanitized I've ever been to. I am SO happy with my latest tattoo! I walked in one day for a consultation. The receptionist was super nice and asked me what I was thinking of getting. I showed her a few photos I had of plumerias, and she paired me with Kimi. My appt was set for a few weeks after my initial consultation. When I went in for my appt, Kimi had already drawn up a rendering based on the photos I shared, which I loved! The drawing looked so real! Kimi was very sweet and made me feel at ease. Came in today to get a matching tattoo with my husband as well as a small script tattoo for myself. We were able to come in a week prior to speak with Phoebe. Phoebe was so gentle and clean. Had a great experience at Do. Art Ink with Jonah, he is a master at his craft! He worked with me on an original piece, and I knew with his realism style he'd be able to nail it. I could not be happier with how it turned out. He responded to my feedback and adjustments during the process. Not only was the tattoo great but the healing so far has been a breeze which speaks to the quality and care. 5/5 will absolutely be back. I was very happy with my experience! Kimi was very sweet and she worked with me to figure out sizing as well as some last minute design adjustments. I was a bit nervous at first because her design didn't exactly match the reference photo I sent, but it was beautiful and I'm still quite happy with the result. She's definitely dedicated to her craft and even redid my stencil to make sure every detail was absolutely perfect. I definitely loved being in a female-run shop! It's a very welcoming space, which is great for nerves if you're coming in for your first tattoo like I was. If/when I get my second piece, I'm definitely coming back here. Kimi and Dora's work in particular are just stunning read more

Came in today for my appt with Kiro, and she did not disappoint. I showed her what I wanted around my existing tattoo and she was able to do more than what I was expecting. She was very thorough of what she was going to do, her recommendations in size and location along with time frame of completion. The place was clean and Kiro took the time to make sure all her work space was sterile, and clean for us to begin. All in all, an awesome experience with Kiro and would highly recommend her to all looking for any specific design or picture cause well, she can do it all!! Also, the manager at Do art was always responsive to my texts and even though I was texting often, she was patient with me and made sure I was happy with my final decision. I highly recommend Do.Art Ink: -studio: clean, Covid-19 conscientious, friendly, good vibes -employees: seem to have fun together, came in around the same time and socialized in their language, but was also diligent to prep and clean the studio -artists: I followed several on IG before choosing Dora. They all have beautiful work -Asian woman owned! Yes!!! xx The initial communication was smooth and speedy. Leana was patient with my many questions and back-and-forth emails. There was great communication of my request from Leana to Dora, because when I saw the piece at first, it was just beautiful. Dora went above and beyond, no doubt. I sent several pictures to Leana, and Dora put together my vision better than I could explain. She also offered several other choices which she had prepared. In the end, I asked if she would offer her artistic creativity to make an addition I was unsure about. Of course, her sketch was perfect. I could tell she was thoughtful about placement and size. I got a lot of tattoos but low key was nervous this time getting a small single needle tat behind my ear. But JD killed it! He was super chill , I changed position of the stencil 4 times and numerous changes on the number front and never gave attitude or anything. I HIGHLY recommend this place for your first tattoo. I got my first tattoo here by Phoebe and the end result came out LOVELY. She communicates from the beginning to the end and adjust till your satisfied with the outcome. Also, she gives out clear instructions for the after care when finished tattooing. I love the atmosphere over there. The price might be a little high for the others, but the quality is worth it. Overall, I recommend this place and will def go back for another tattoo! read more

Phoebe did a great job on my first tattoo! She made me super comfortable and I had a great experience. Phoebe does a lot of tattoos from anime shows and Studio Ghibli movies, so she was a great fit to do the apple from Fantastic Mr. Fox. I've had 3 amazing experiences here so far! The first time I came here was for a beautiful flash on Friday the 13th. I was assigned to Lily and soon after I booked another session with her. A few weeks later I came with my sister in-law as she had previously gotten a tattoo from Lily as well! She got a portrait of her late fur baby and I got a custom floral heart piece. Let me tell you; Lily is an artist. And her artistry shows through her work. She gave me a tattoo that was beyond my expectations and so full of detail. My 2nd tattoo from her took two sessions and it was well worth it! Overall the shop is full of friendly women artists and you feel at ease when you are at this studio compared to other bustling tattoo shops. Lily is a true artist! She not only fixed a tattoo I had already but gave me a beautiful new peony on my shoulder! I sat for a 5 hour session and she was professional, offering me breaks and always being considerate of my comfort. I'm 55 and this is only my 2nd tattoo. But I didn't end up getting any work done here because of the manager, even though I paid for the reservation fee. She just rubbed me the wrong way. For me she seemed very money hungry or lack customer service skills. When I would asked for a quote on a wrist tattoo, she told me it had to be minimum of a certain size. LILY OMG, what a great tattoo artist. Her attention to details when she makes her flowers is amazing. She made my cherry blossoms and kodama dreams come true for my birthday! She tried her best to make my cherry blossoms similar to the art work I have envisioned. It came out so beautiful. Thank you Lily for being awesome. As for the studio, it was very neat. Scheduling the appointment was easy and Logan was patient with the few changes I wanted to make to the picture when I arrived. The cost was also very reasonable compared to what I've paid other places and for tattoos not near the quality of what I just got with Logan. With my second cousin her line work was fine but it just came out all slanted, and they kept saying not to pull her lip as much but if she didn't it would've ended up on the edge just like the "$$$" one.

From the very beginning of the process, submitting the request to book, through the consultation itself, and coming in to get the tattoo, I had the most amazing experience. June created a beautiful design based on my references and feedback and added little touches that made it even better. When I showed up to my appointment, I was a little anxious, but it was such a cozy, beautiful studio and I felt welcomed and at ease by Rob and June. June took such great care to cover up the scars I wanted covered and make it look beautiful and flow well with the natural curves of my leg, and made sure I was comfortable throughout. After she finished her work, she brought out the professional camera to get the best pictures possible and promptly sent them to me the same night. You can tell she takes pride in her work (as she should!) I will absolutely be back for more tattoos in the future, and maybe add more to my leg sleeve.
