I was very cautious when searching for a place to get my nose pierced. Luckily I didn't have to look too hard because when I came across this place on Yelp it stood out greatly. They had great reviews and the pictures on their website insured me I would have a great experience here. My friend made a reservation online for both of us and paid a deposit. When we arrived the owner was so welcoming and kind, and super energetic. I was pretty scared about the piercing but he made me feel at ease. The shop is super small but is still accommodating. There was one guy there doing a tattoo, but gave that a guy a break so he could pierce my friend and I almost right after we walked in. The guy that did my piercing did an amazing job! It's been a week a half since I got my piercing and it's healed completely. They use a needle instead of a gun and everything was super sanitary. Also $70 for a nose piercing including the jewelry is a great deal. I am thinking about going back for some tattoos next. Love this place. read more

Let my story be a reminder to choose carefully where you get inked. No matter how long a shop has been open, horror stories can happen to you. Came here and ended up maimed/botched with a disgusting infection... along with the ugliest tattoo imaginable. I went to consultations to cover it up and, the artists are always SHOCKED at how ugly and poorly done it was. 2 even asked me if the Tattoo Love artist was "drunk" when she did it. The artist was so heavy handed that I was squirming in my seat from pain. I have so many tattoos, never that amount of pain. Unfortunately for me, this means removal will be even more difficult, since she drilled ink in layers deeper than she needed to. After healing from an excruciating infection (I could not even sleep for two days), my skin started falling out in chunks, but that at least let it to heal a bit. Significant scarring. A few artists at my cover-up consultations told me that I should consider legal action, so I am looking into that. Tattoo Love hired an artist who botched my body and didn't follow hygiene laws, at my expense. I am recovering from the physical and emotional trauma that is equivalent to a botched surgery, my arm is in constant pain and looks horrible. I'm stuck inside all summer due to the laser treatments. I empathize with small businesses but not in this case, totally preventable and irresponsible, now irreversible. She had me come in to change my Saniderm and it smelled awful, blood spilling everywhere, the owner didn't even come look. Should've been involved in this whole entire thing while it went down. Tattoo Love has been around for over a decade and had no excuse for hiring someone so incompetent to destroy someone's body like this. Los Angeles / Southern California has hundreds of tattoo shops, why risk it at this crappy little place? Why are you considering going to a place where there is a review visibly showing you that you too can have your body destroyed by coming here? Why risk it? It's EASY to hire a qualified artist - what did a business that's been around for over 10 years miss during her hiring process? There is no excuse here, which is why I am highly upset. I am more angry the more time passes, and with the more thousands of dollars that I lose, no compensation from this place. At least I now have some more energy, instead of as much depression, to take action. Shame on you, Tattoo Love. If you decide to get a tattoo here... have fun gambling. read more

George and Brian made getting my first tattoo of my dog really easy and painless. I reached out to George via Yelp and set up a consultation appointment within minutes. I then let them know what I wanted and shared with them a nose print of my dog Bubba, the nose print was harder to get from my dog than the tattoo! It only took me an hour once I got to the shop to when I was done. I was so impressed that Brian helped with the design of the tattoo and freehanded the nose since the tracing ink didn't transfer all the details over. I really love it, especially since my Bubba passed away a week or so after it healed fully. He got to see that I'll always be carrying him with me, and I'm forever grateful to George and Brian. read more

We just had such a great experience at Tattoo Love! My daughter and her BFF wanted to get their ears pierced together and it couldn't have been a nicer experience. George and the crew create such a kind and welcoming environment and Steve did a great job on their ears.
