An automatic 18% gratuity was added to all checks, which felt undeserved given the level of service. My drink was $28 made with house tequila and had virtually no alcohol in it. Bartender was pretty rude, and yelled the price as if he knew it was wrong what they were charging as well... We ordered appetizers, and after 45 minutes, no one returned to clear the table or even ask if we wanted to order entrées. We were there celebrating a birthday, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I honestly wish we had chosen another establishment. Just two days into open and this place is already a hit. The atmosphere inside is incredible with flowers everywhere. Such a romantic atmosphere. I just saw one proposal here. I tried the lobster roll which was pretty good one of the better lobster rolls I have tried. 7/10 The fries remind me of childhood. That perfect crispy fries you remember getting at McDonalds with free cone day. Amazing memories. 9/10 amazing. This place just opened and has a lot of changes to still make but off to a great start. The service of the manager and servers is great. They are very eager to please and make any changes you need. They are still changing up their menu so it is going to be amazing when they are done. While I found the service to be excellent and the food delicious, enforcing a dress code would greatly enhance the dining experience for all patrons, ensuring that the environment remains respectful and family-friendly. A dress code would prevent patrons from inadvertently exposing themselves or others to inappropriate views during meals, which is especially important in a setting intended to be kid-friendly. We visited for a celebration and were honestly disappointed. The DJ was there for only a short time and then left for the rest of the night, which wasn't what we expected. The food was pretty mid, especially considering all the hype it gets on TikTok. There was also a man selling hookah for $50, and it was not worth the price at all. Went for pre Mother's Day dinner with my bestie and had a great time! Reservations were for 6:15pm but due to the train and construction in the Bronx got there at 6:40pm. False advertising, To make matters worse, they took forever to bring the food and clear the table. I paid $54 for a spoon of mashed potato spread out on a plate. I left there still hungry. also I ordered a lemon drop, send it back because it tasted like pure sugar and water And to top it all off, the staff and customers started arguing and the music was so low that it was almost inaudible. The ambiance is trendy, and the flower wall is a clear crowd favorite (though sitting right in front of it meant we had a rotating audience of strangers hovering over our table for the perfect shot). The DJ kept the energy up, playing a mix of hip-hop and throwback hits, which made for a fun atmosphere. But beyond the vibe, the food and service left a lot to be desired. We started with appetizers--tuna tartare tacos and sticky ribs, both of which were ok. The hot wings, however, were not good--Buffalo Wild Wings quality at a premium price. The drinks were good, but at nearly $100 upcharge for casamigo reposado, they should be. When the entrées came, everything went downhill fast. My friends ordered the filet mignon, and the NY strip. For $56 and $65 steaks, we expected flavor, tenderness, and at the very least, some level of satisfaction. Instead, I got a piece of rubber disguised as a steak. Even the garlic butter sauce couldn't save it. Both steaks were cooked incorrectly. One of my friends described her steak as "a boot sole." My steak sandwich sounded good from reading the menu, but tasted like something I could have got at the deli. The Parmesan truffle fries were another letdown--greasy, hard, and definitely not worth the upgrade cost. Service-wise, our server was friendly but inattentive. We sat for over 20 minutes before even getting water, though, to their credit, the food came out quickly once we ordered. Dessert was a final disappointment--the fried Oreos sundae tasted like the Oreos had been pre-fried and reheated, not fresh at all. For 3 appetizers, 4 drinks (including that outrageous reposado upcharge), 2 seltzers, 3 entrées, and a dessert, our bill came to nearly $500. Would I go back? Absolutely not. Would I recommend it? Floral covered stairway as you walk in. That was neat. The restaurant ambiance is...interesting. One side of the dining area has gorgeous floral arrangements along the ceiling...then the area you walk into that contains the host/hostess stand is painted completely black with only the EXIT signs standing out. So you're sitting under this gorgeous pink flower arrangement cascade with a view of the side of the room which is painted opaque black which makes the whole place look ONLY partially done. WHY not have those florals throughout so as to not break up the room so abruptly? It was giving "warehouse club". Then they had tv's placed randomly showcasing scenes from other countries -why? What's the theme? -Floral, travel, and blacked out warehouses? The service is fine. Nice enough servers but the hostesses seemed to not really care. The cocktails (I had the not so old fashioned and my spouse had the lemon drop martini) both were VERY subpar, watered down, and overly sweet unnecessarily. I felt like the bartenders were from an 18 and up club and had no real experience in mixology. The shrimp appetizer with the drizzle of something trying to be spicy was like someone had microwaved Gordon's fisherman frozen shrimp from the grocery store and tossed it with what I THINK was a pineapple salsa? My husband's shrimp "Po' Boy" was served on a literal HOT DOG BUN. A hot dog bun -seriously? My husband is from New Orleans. I get that we're not in Louisiana but they could have at least found some French bread and made an ATTEMPT. Or maybe GOOGLE what a po' boy is? The shrimp tasted old and had no real flavor. My hot honey chicken sandwich was inedible -it was like the thinnest SLICE of chicken deli meat had been deep fried and then placed upon watery cold slaw on a thick bun then covered with NOT HOT AT ALL honey. I tasted honey only. So basically it's a honey sandwich filled with deep fried FRIED and watery slaw. The one star is for servers who actually tried. To be honest, I went to Docks Off 5th yesterday for a friend's birthday. Overall, the food was decent, but for the price people are paying, the food should be the same quality. The dishes were mostly bland, at best lightly seasoned. The music was unbearably loud, making simple conversations difficult and creating an overstimulating atmosphere that took away from enjoying the meal and the overall vibe. The restaurant was also extremely dark, so much so that reading the menu was difficult, and I had to use my phone's flashlight just to see it clearly. The service was another issue. The waiters/waitresses didn't check on our table often, and communicating with them was challenging due to the volume of the music. At one point, I had to ask three different waiters just to get a takeout box. On top of that, I found it ridiculous that we weren't allowed to take our own photos inside the restaurant. What's the point of creating such an aesthetic space if it turns into a money grab just to take a few pictures? From the floral decor to the whimsical cocktails and aesthetically pleasing and tasty plates, not to mention private party rooms with disco ball, floral, and bank vault motifs, this place is definitely photo-op friendly. To top it off the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious. We started with some fun cocktails that came with the cutest rubber duckies, followed by the angry lobster roll - delicious!
