We had this reservation for about three weeks and were excited to celebrate with you. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we found that many of the menu items we specifically looked forward to ordering were unavailable. With an advance reservation, we believe we should have been notified about this ahead of time so we could decide whether to keep our reservation. Additionally, when we asked to speak with a manager, a young woman came over but never introduced herself as the manager. Instead of addressing our concerns properly, she simply offered complimentary shots, which we felt was an inadequate resolution. On top of that, the birthday girl did not enjoy her food, and our waiter assured us he would remove it from the bill -- but he never did. He also never came back to check on our table and appeared to have left entirely. This entire experience fell far short of our expectations, especially for a reservation planned in advance for a special occasion. They strung us along for an hour with different excuses as to why our table isn't ready, ranging from them waiting for the people at our table to leave, to them double booking, to the person who made the reservation for us being fired. A deposit was left weeks ahead to secure the reservation, upon arriving we had to wait an incredibly long time -- over an hour past reservation time!!!! Every 10 minutes or so we checked with the hostess for status on our table, receiving excuses and promises our table should be ready soon. We finally see our table getting prepared and minutes later a group of people is seated instead of us! Are you kidddddding me???!!! We've been waiting for an hour at this point by the bar. We certainly felt discriminated against at this point. Adding to the ridiculous situation, there was no apology or any customer service skills from the hostess or the manager in trying to make it up to us or apologize for this horrendous situation. It seemed like no one took accountability for the delays or acknowledged the inconvenience. This place has a serious overbooking problem, lack of customer service and lack accountability. I had my birthday brunch here a few weeks ago and overall it was nice! Very beautiful inside and aesthetic, which is why I picked it! I just didn't like that they stuck as at a table with no decorations just a black wall behind the booth, but I saw a bright room with a flower wall and everything that was empty and another room opposite of that. If I wrote on the reservation it's for a birthday- I would've expected to be in a space like that, especially since it was available. The food we got was good! The menu just isn't that extensive and I also felt like the brunch menu was a little odd. There were no traditional brunch items on there like pancakes and French toast. But they have a Caesar wrap, a burger with an egg on it and lamb chops as options. Definitely not giving brunch. The fried Oreos were also very hard we couldn't even eat them. I went with my wife and 2 daughters. We are visiting the city from Florida. By accident we stumbled in here because the entry way is very unique. Once inside the entire decor is very relaxing and inviting. Food portions were very large and the taste and quality is excellent. Came here out of town for the brunch. Over the 1.5hrs our server came up to us twice. We had to wave him down and call him over multiple times just for refills alone. Two other servers came to our table, asked if we needed anything and when we responded we got blank stares because they barely spoke english.
