this place is great. the atmosphere is very nice and lots of decor. there is kind of a weird smell when you walk in, but its not too bad. the wait time was a little over 25 minutes but id say its worth it. i got the four choice shrimp deal and all the shrimp were absolutely delicious!! i got french fries and mashed potatoes as my two sides, the fries were good, but mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a packet. drinks are good as well, and nice staff. i recommend ! read more

Came here for the Prime Rib, which we (Wife, daughter and myself) all ordered, along with the Onion Spinner. Wait staff was friendly and attentive, but dropped the ball towards the end (took quite a while after the check was delivered). We were asked if we wanted to be seated near the live music, which we did. It is two performers using prerecorded backing tracks. Female singer was decent enough, male was at times off key. Overall it was a nice atmosphere. Salads were good, nothing special. Onion Spinner was tasty, a little on the oily side (it is fried but I'm comparing to other places that serve a similar dish). Prime Rib wasn't really seasoned, but was cooked as ordered and tasted good. Overall, a good experience. The price was very reasonable! read more

Came in expecting to have a great experience with the amount of cars in the parking lot. Was completely fooled. The service wasn't the greatest and the food was bad enough to keep us from coming back. Frozen Seafood from the Walmart frozen aisle is a great description of the food here. We started off with the Cajun calamari and literally got 10 pieces for the 5-6 dollars it cost and it was all bread which tasted microwaved. The shrimp Po boy was dry and bread was burnt. My fiancé had the stuffed crab which she said was mostly breading. Had to ask for tarter sauce and hot sauce just to eat it. The waitress was really nice but we rarely saw her. Someone's child who worked here but was following our waitress around was also running around unattended which was kind of weird. Overall we will not be returning. read more

Have been here twice now after camping at nearby state park and it's great! Good selection, app's are awesome and plentiful, restaurant is clean and kept and main courses are excellent. Just what you need after day on the lake or camping, from burgers or chicken fried steak up to steak plates if you want a little more, fish is excellent also. Staff was very nice both times and the second time just couple days ago we had Tracy as our server and couldn't have been better; truly looked after us the whole time! Stopped by this seafood restaurant on a trip to Marble Falls and it was amazing! Some of the best seafood I've had in a while. Everything was so light and crispy, but not oily. Wow- this was an unexpected delight! Hubby and I started with two beers and an appetizer of stuffed mushrooms- they came pretty quickly, tasted amazing, and the portion was huge. The meal delivered the same satisfaction - tasty, filling, and hot!!! Got the bill and had to double check to make sure our drinks were on it because for all that we had the bill seemed LOW - when does that ever happen? We ordered take-out on the 20th. Very disappointed with our meals. It's possible that we caught you on a bad night, but the fish and other seafood were flavorless. Even my 9 YO (who eats everything) didn't like the food. The only redeeming menu item that we had that was good was the stuffed mushrooms. That's the reason for 2 stars. Our thoughts were it would be better to drive up the road to Long John Silvers or to trek over to Burnet and Captain D's. Food is better and costs much less. read more

Very disappointed! Food has definitely gone downhill... Prime rib was very thin cut and well done( no pink) We ordered medium rare. Shrimp kabob was pathetic-six TINY shrimp were overcooked. This was my husband & I's first time eating here. We had the gumbo & the large shrimp basket. Our server was Shelly she was very friendly & helpful. Looking for a dog friendly restaurant in the Burnet area, and there isn't much! Took a drive to Marble Falls, and was pleasantly surprised. Shrimp looked just like pictures on the menu, and tasted much better than a lot of shrimp out their. I had diablo shrimp which was not too hot, shared the bacon with my pup. Visiting from Austin around 6:45pm the place was packed 3 days before Christmas. We had a 5 minute wait so we sat at the bar. My husband and I both ordered the 2 piece combo with fried catfish and shrimp. Also comes with 2 sides so we got french fries and macaroni and cheese. The fish was good and the shrimp was so bomb and JUICY. The macaroni and cheese left a lot to be desired (cheaply made and watery) but definitely still edible. Customer service was good as well. Perfect end to a fun day in Marble Falls! We were craving shrimp after a day on the water and our amazing server, Autumn, did a great job helping us craft an order that was satisfying without being excessively heavy. She even got the bartender to make me a frozen watermelon margarita with their jalapeño tequila - it was outstanding! Our teens were jealous, so she suggested they try non-alcoholic margaritas. The new owner has improved service and taste at docs. The service was very friendly and very prompt when we were there. I had their fried shrimp dinner my wife had the fried oysters. We were both completely satisfied with the flavor freshness and temperature of our food. We tried take out. But fried shrimp and fried oysters Did not do well with a 20 minute delay before eating. Our food was not hot and the battering was not crisp and fresh by the time we got it home. So if you do take out, eat in the parking lot or get yourself home quickly. Their prices are almost half the price of the seafood restaurant in Cotton with chores. In other words, their prices are very good for fresh seafood. read more

This place is pretty good. We've been here about 3-4xs. My son loves fish so he frequently wants to come here. The service has always been good. Friendly and snappy. The place has always been clean and it's real cute. Feels like a mom & pops place at the beach. The menu offers a lot, mid priced IMO. We tried Doc's on our way back from a morning of fun at the Sweetberry Farm. There are not a lot of places to eat in Marble Falls on a Sunday and this establishment happen to be open. We were disappointed. Do yourself a favor and drive any direction to find something else. We waited over an hour for our food (Sunday at 2:45PM), the food was luke warm, there was a child of the cook's running around toasting us with a shot glass full of coke, every table around us got food before we did. I ordered a medium chopped beef steak and it was burnt on the sides and well done. We will probably never eat here again. The food was less than mediocre and very costly. Maybe it was just a bad day for them but we are not use to spending a lot of money for bad days. read more
