Food was good,!but most our group ordered the all you can eat fish fry and getting extra fish took too much time in our opinion. We ordered it immediately when we got out food. Once we got it was hot and plenty. Another disappointment we experience was because we were eating outside on the roof deck, The bar specials we saw on the way into the restaurant were not available to us nor was tap beer. Also all drink were served in plastic glasses disappointing for a place like this. The fried fish was good but the broiled fish portions we really small and over cooked, dried out, not good. Visited for the first time and I would say the experience was just ok. The place is nice and water views are great. Too many clouds for a sunset but I bet it would be pretty. We sat at the bar and our service was friendly. I ordered the baked fish with sweet potato fries and my husband got the fried fish with waffle fries. They brought his out with baked potato but fixed it very quickly so really not a big deal. It was all ok, nothing spectacular but definitely have had worse. I think both our fries and his fish could have used either a little hotter oil or longer in the fryer because they weren't really crisp. All in all, if I was back in the area, I would stop and eat and have a drink but probably wouldn't make a special trip. read more

They make some good food. I am gluten free and they are great at adapting the menu. Last time I was there I had the shrimp tacos on corn tortillas and it was one of the better shrimp tacos I've had. The view is awesome especially when they have the rooftop or outdoor seating available. read more

The food here is always delicious. From a BLT to the pasta ala vodka, it really is just good food every single time. Their Bloody Marys are really good too. Friendly staff, fairly quick service, and pretty location right on the water. read more

First off I have to say my experience right off the bat was off to a rough start because their website stated they had outdoor dining. So we had a beautiful Wednesday night to eat outside over looking the lake only to find out when we showed up that there roof top area is only open on weekends! PUT THAT IN YOUR WEBSITE PEOPLE!! I drove 20 minutes for lakeside outdoor dining and ended up eating in a bar watching the brewers lose! Now on to the food, my wife had the fish fry and I had a chicken wrap. My wife did not enjoy the fish at all, they did not remove the blood line giving it an off taste, which is why you remove the blood line. My chicken wrap was very good! One thing I will say is that their drinks were really good, I had a Bloody Mary and my wife had a hurricane thingy, both were awesome! Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Typically my rule of thumb is that 3 star places are places I typically wouldn't return. But I think if I were in the area and this places outdoor dining was open I would give it another chance, if anything just for a cocktail. read more

If I could do a review with negative stars, I would gladly review "This" place with negative 5 stars. Walked in with my cousin and his son for a quick bite and a nice view. The moment we walked in hateful eyes began to wonder why we were there. Mind you my cousin and I are Mexican, my little cousin is mixed Mexican and Black. Not a single server attended us as we waited for ten minutes to be seated. One server in particular glanced at us twice as we were standing waiting to be seated. Only to be ignored. We asked a fellow guest there, "do we seat ourselves.??" Only to be lead on to pull up our own seat. While we seated ourselves servers only walked right by us as if we were invisible. My little nephew is 8, how disrespectful is it to not only ignore two ready to pay customers. But to ignore a 8 year old little boy looking at how the food looked, only to be treated as an "Ant". True words from a 8 year old to feel like a ant in a restaurant predominately serving only to "Their" people... Two other families walked in full attention and seating within seconds after they walked in. Not a second wasted on them and receiving attention with service. So the rooftop atmosphere is great. But if you order from rooftop be aware you will wait 2-3hrs for food... because they forgot downstairs.

You NEED TO EXPERIENCE this place! SPOTLESS INSIDE AND OUT! The staff is attentive and sincere. You have NEVER had French Fries until you have theirs! Beer cheese? A PHENOMENAL dipping sauce. This is what every restaurant should be doing Right! Can't say enough about the PHENOMENAL experience we enjoyed today. NOTHING BUT CLASS ALL AROUND! Now- let me be clear that I'm a summer baby and I love me some sunshine. A rooftop bar, with a view of the water, and cheap drinks? You win. My burger (southern light) was really good. My screwdriver ( I know- who the hell orders a screwdriver? Me, to honor my Dad on his bday) and Marg on the rocks were perfect for the sunshine. We were in town on business and looking for a decent place to eat one evening. I decided to check out what was good on Yelp and this is where we landed. It turned out to be a great choice. We both had the steak sandwich. It came on a nice soft hoagie style bun with sautéed onions, peppers, mushrooms, and melted cheese. The steak was cooked perfectly and very tender with great flavor. The steak was great, but the show stopper was the appetizer that we chose....breaded deep fried "Portabello" mushrooms! I've had plenty of deep fried mushrooms in my day, but these were freaking awesome!!! Don't miss this place, you won't be disappointed! And if you like beer, they have a great selection. read more

As a Village of Waterford resident, I highly awaited the opening of this establishment. It is a very clean and nice place. We have negative friends who told us of some bad legal thing that happened to the owner in his past and advised us to not go there. We are glad we did not listen. It is a very nice place to eat, and have a beer/cocktail. They are always looking to improve, and even opened up a rooftop bar! It is right on Lake Tichigan/Fox River and has docks for boats as well. I like the sandwiches, and the wings. My wife would only give it 2-3 stars but im giving it a 4. Its a good place to eat in a town that has little to no options for a nice meal. Nice place. Recommended. This is a large bar but they try to play it off as a restaurant. It's basically one big room. They have another room separated by glass and there was a very small wedding happening in there. The views of the Fox River are very nice. Regarding food. The menu is small. It's bar food. Hamburgers, pizza, and sandwiches. We came on a Saturday night so they did have a few entrees as "specials." One was prime rib. The place is new and clean. They had plenty of staff tonight and they were good. I like this place (first time here) but I was somewhat disappointed with the menu. read more

Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake. I am starting with this because it is one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. The crust made me think it had previously been frozen, yet the flavor was still excellent. My husband had the key lime cheesecake and it was good, but not as good as key lime pie. This restaurant was pleasant. The wait staff was very friendly. We ate in the indoor patio room, which had all hard surfaces and no acoustic panels at all which made the room excessively noisy. While the building is on the river the windows were too high up to enjoy the view comfortably. And while it may seem like I have more complaints than praises, we still felt at home here and would visit again. We started with cheese curds and spinach artichoke dip. Both were good, not the best I have eaten, but they were good and we enjoyed them. I had the blue cheese burger with the homemade chips for my meal. I was looking for something different, and this was pretty good. It seemed to need something, but it was good enough that I would try it again and would like to try their other flavors. My husband had the Wisconsin burger which he said was good but not great. My granddaughter had a chicken wrap which she ordered the way she likes it and it came just as she had asked. The wrap had a lot of filling, much more than I typically see in a wrap. It was nice that they actually made it as she asked, as I don't think I have ever seen a place get her order right before. All in all, it is a nice casual sandwich place, and while I can't say anything was stupendous, it was all quite good and I am sure we will return. read more

Tried this restaurant a few times. Every time I would order their Friday Fish Fry, the price was always slightly different for 2 carry outs. The fish was pretty good, probably better if you ate it there. A cup of soup was suppose to come with the fish fry. Yet out of the six or so times I ordered it, I was never given one to go or even asked it I wanted the soup. I finally stopped going when I got sick on their fish and they charged me nearly $30 for 2 fish. Be aware, extra tartar sauce they charge for.
