Sadly, the quality of care and professionalism at the hospital has declined, and I will not be returning. I recommend finding another hospital for your pet's care.

Congrats!!!!!! I have used their mobile services and was very pleased. There is a charge for the mobile service, but it is money well spent on your fur babies when needed. The new clinic is clean and bright and the tech at the front desk was very friendly and answered all my questions. P. S.These folks also take care of all kinds of shepherds at High Sierra Lifeline K9 Rescue. Kudos for that, because they treated my King Shepherd when he first arrived from the Sacramento Shelter and came to HSLK9! Anyway, I ended up with a great dog AND a great vet! Given his recent trauma of being in a carrier when I flew with him from Portland (Oregon) to Reno, I did not want to stress him out by placing him in a carrier to see a veterinarian in a traditional clinic. I received instructions from Battleborn to secure my cat in a bathroom. Dr. Matt and Tannier were punctual and very professional. They showed wonderful kindness towards my cat - he did not meow at all when they trimmed his nails, and retrieved urine/blood from him for lab work. It was worth every penny to have a house visit - minimal stress for my new fur baby.

Every single one I have called in my area told me that they are not accepting new clients, so I would call back every 6 months or so, same story. I was finally referred to BBMV. My elderly cat needed a quality of life check and my other two terrors simply needed a wellness check. Taking all 3 to a vet office is such a hassle (one pees as soon as she sees the carrier and one poops in the carrier on the way to the vet and the way home). BBMV's vet tech Heather, was super responsive to all my messages and answered all my questions. They were able to get me into the schedule within 2 weeks, which I thought was totally acceptable given I was a new client and had 3 cats to see at the same time. Dr. McSweeney and Heather showed up slightly early, but were very kind and gentle with my cats. He was very thorough and explained all possibilities and treatment options. I ended up having to allow my eldest girl over the rainbow bridge during the appointment and Dr. McSweeney and Heather were amazing. They gave me all the time I needed before and after the injection. They treated my little girl with the respect and love she deserved. While I did not enjoy the appointment, it was nothing that Dr. McSweeney did. I would 100% recommend him. The $120 travel price was totally worth is for me, and the remaining costs that were charged were actually less than what I would have been charged at the local vet office. My total bill was just about the same as it would have been if I had gone to the local vet office, and in the end my kitties were less traumatized and my little girl got to say goodbye in her own home.

I was definitely that client -- asking all the questions, thinking of every worst-case scenario, and quietly panicking about losing my baby. Dr. Fisk was beyond amazing. He met every single one of my anxious questions with patience, kindness, and the calm reassurance I so desperately needed. He never made me feel silly for worrying -- just supported. When I came to pick my boy up, I was greeted by the sweetest front desk staff who immediately reassured me that he did great and was in the back resting. They told me he was such a good, loving boy -- and as a pet mom, that melted my heart. Dr. Fisk explained everything thoroughly -- how the surgery went, recovery steps, what to watch for -- and again answered every question with such gentleness. Anytime I've called with questions (because, yes, I'm still that mom), the staff was responsive and so kind. I truly can't recommend Skyline Pet Hospital enough. We expected a 2-3hour wait but they were able to see her in about an hour . The dr's technician was thorough and kind and when Dr. Buckton arrived he took the time to explain her possible condition and answered our questions about cost of a conservative treatment or aggressive treatment. We chose the conservative antibiotic treatment and by the end of the next day the blood in urine had cleared completely. The only issue we have is his office is too far away to be able to use for all of Bailey's needs! Thank you to the whole office!
