After arriving, I was pleasantly greeted by Grace and was made feel very welcome. Everyone in the lobby said hello to Sammy and gave him some pets. They explained the process to me and promptly took him back to get groomed. The whole process took around an hour or so, and he came out smelling and looking great! And lastly, the pricing was great! I spent around $100 total for their basic hygiene which includes a bath, nail trim, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning. I also added on a full blow-out as he sheds quite a lot! I felt I got great service for my money and was happy. Overall, I would definitely take your best friend to Scenthound Petaluma. They clearly love their job and are about you are your animal. They are now saying that the meds are not enough. She was dismissed saying she needs a "1-1 mobile groomer" but they can't provide me with any names of recommendations. I'm sad because we had really great experiences for a long time before this but clearly the groomer working now is not as experienced as they had in the last.

But what I appreciate the most, is that he sets expectations for my difficult pup, and is still willing to push as much as he can. And every time my difficult pup comes out, he is still cute!! Jason lets me know where he struggled, and I try to make up where I can at home, but at least he made sure that the money makers (the face) look great. I'm so grateful! Her answering machine said they were out of the office from the 23th of last month, but I don't recall the date she said she'd be back. I know she takes pottery classes on Wednesday evening. I referred her to the classes so out of curiosity I showed up at class last Wednesday to find her there. She never said a word to me. Not even acknowledged I was there. When she showed up at my house to deliver newspapers, I told her she could have the five jars of glazes ($15.00 ea) that were still at the studio, since I stopped going to class. I also gave her my block of clay worth approximately $25. I had collected four more jars of glaze that I was going to give her at our appointment on the 13th. While I was at class, I asked the instructor for my box of glazes. I decided not to give it to her after all, but I did leave her with the barely used block of clay. I felt she didn't deserve my generosity after being treated the way I was. I have no idea why she ghosted me re my appointment, but she certainly didn't act professionally and I will never use her services in the future nor give a positive review. I have since found another mobile dog groomer who charges the same amount. Heather, I hope you enjoy the clay I gave you. Today I received a callback from Petco in Petaluma. They quoted their dog nail trims at: Monday thru Friday $6.00 (1/2 of regular price and $12 any other time. So if you don't mind driving a few miles, they can save you a lot of money.

(closer to 5, but It took me some time to pay the invoice). 2) Aiko was wonderful with my scaredy dog. my dog's coat was clean, shiny and his skin was free of debris. they were lovely and communicative. melissa was especially kind when we had to remove our recently deceased dog from the list of our brood.

She has so many repeat clients so you know she is worth it. I contacted her because she grooms a neighbors dog and the neighbor has us "dog sit"/ get his energy out with my kids so we wanted to do something nice. She sent me the invoice for the grooming and let the owner (neighbor) have the message. If she has them she puts a seasonal bandana on their collar too. He's a large breed so I know he takes a while but she is so patient with him. I've recommended her services to friends who have been looking.

The care and kindness they show to the dogs are unmatched, and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. Their facility is fantastic--there's a large, open area for the dogs to move around and private half-wall kennels that are spacious enough to fit multiple dogs, but they only ever use them for one dog at a time. It's such a thoughtful setup, ensuring the dogs are comfortable and not stuck in a small cage. I've never had any issues with appointments or service--they're always reliable and professional. The young man clearly didn't like my comments. The grooming was uneven for the first time, but I planned give it another chance as I'd been taking my dog there regularly for 5 years. He wouldn't give me another appointment and said I'd have to talk with his mother about it. I texted Jodi and asked her to call me. She didn't. I realize they have no shortage of business but they clearly don't care about losing a loyal customer. That attitude is disappointing. I'm now trying out other groomers. There are plenty around.

McDowell Blvd today and left with mixed feelings…read more The customer service was wonderful--the young lady at the checkout register was incredibly friendly, courteous, and pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately, the same cannot be used to describe the cleanliness of the store. The floors and fixtures are in desperate need of a deep clean. There are thick build-ups of grime and dirt on the floor tiles, heavy layers of dust, cobwebs, and debris gathered under the shelves, and clumps of loose pet hair drifting down the aisles. Even the bottom of the "JustFoodForDogs" freezer unit had noticeable grime running down the front vent. I want to support our local pet stores, but walking through such neglected aisles makes for an uncomfortable shopping experience. The front-end staff is doing great, but management really needs to step up the store's basic housekeeping and sanitation.

Okay store but the restrooms are disgusting...it's a typical pet store..would I go back? NOread more
