    Sweet Potato Fries

Great place if you have. Hankering for a well dressed dog. The southwest tots were great, crunchy with flavorful toppings. The Aloohah was surprisingly bland as were the sweet potato fries. Great place to hang and watch the game with friends. They have a full bar. You order at the front and they give you a number then deliver your order to your table if you are eating in. They participate with the InKind App which is what brought us here. I don't regret it and will probably stop again next time I have a hankering for a well dressed dog!

"It's dawn...a fine mist covers the French countryside," Snoopy narrates as he strides towards his dog house and prepares to embark on another hunt for the Red Baron in his legendary biplane, a Sopwith Camel. "Switch off" yells the mechanic, no doubt a Woodstock. "Coupez," the World War I Flying Ace replies. "Contact," Snoopy translates, "Contact it is!" Snoopy then roars to simulate the Sopwith Camel's engine., before observing "Moments later, I am flying low over the Moselle," a tributary of the Rhine in the Lorraine region. Although it's impossible to top Charles Schulz's aerial dogfights of fancy between Charlie Brown's lovable companion Snoopy and the Red Baron, Dog Haus Biergarten, one of College Park, Maryland's newest restaurants and hangouts, tucked in the new, architecturally-pleasing municipal building, does its best, serving hot dogs and brats with memorable names such as Reservoir Hog (technically, a Polish kielbasa with Haus chili, Haus slaw, and yellow mustard), the Fonz (a spicy Italian sausage with pastrami and mozzarella), and the Chili Idol (a hot dog with Haus chili, cheddar cheese sauce, and onions). For our first visit, my wife and I enjoyed 1 Reservoir Hog, 1 Das Brat, 2 Chili Idols, and two orders of Tots (one with chili, the other with chili and cheese sauce); and we are almost as excited to return as Snoopy's World War I Flying Ace was to be served free root beer by Marcie after one of his iconic escapades.

Title: Doghouse = Study in Disappointment Saturday, Sept 27, 2025 -- between 3 and 4 p.m. Ordered 20+ sliders. Waited 45 minutes. Called three times -- straight to ghost mode. Drove over and found staff literally sitting at the desk like NPCs. My order? "Oh, we just got it." Manager's vibe: "Yeah, this is just how it works sometimes." Cool, so the phones work, the people work (kinda), but the customer service? Still MIA. Honestly felt like I was paying tuition in frustration instead of getting food. Doghouse Beer Garden: great if you're writing a paper on apathy, not great if you're hungry.

DogHaus is hands-down my favorite spot for a great hot dog, I take my mom here frequently. The chili cheese dog is loaded with flavorful chili, gooey cheese, and the perfect snap in each bite, the Hawaiian roll pulls all of this yummy flavor together. I always pair with a crisp glass of Pinot Grigio, it's an unexpectedly perfect match. Great food, chill vibe, and the service is always great --DogHaus never disappoints!

Been here twice since my last review. I have warmed somewhat since my first review. Once when a friend dragged me there to try the Sooo Cali dog. So certain that he even picked up the cost. "You won't regret it" Wow he was right ! It was delicious. I have 2 minor complaints. The staff sent out a different dog then l wanted assuming that was the one l described. So l didn't get what l really wanted, (The menu board is a mess and confusing) so order from the printed menu, not the board. That is the second complaint. This is a ongoing problem because on the way out the staff gave me a paper menu. Implying l was not the first who was bedazzled by the readability of the posted one. Having said that if you like me are a hot dog lover, you need to check it out. They also have a million beers and a full bar there crammed into a small space. It is after all College Park. Known for the Parking Nazi agents so be careful.

First time coming here. Hubby and I ordered takeaway- the hot chick, beyond breakfast burrito, and the naughty dog. Total came out to approximately $47. What's hot - Quality. Delicious. Many of their dishes use Hawaiian rolls, which is different and adds a nice flavor. When the menu says their dishes are spicy, it's legit. Hubby and I have a pretty good tolerance for heat and we could taste the spice, which was yummy. All the ingredients are paired nicely. - Portions. Good value for money. Pretty filling, too. - Price. My breakfast burrito is $17, which can be pretty pricey for a burrito, but given how much is stuffed in there, that's pretty good. The hot chick is pretty filling, as well, especially because of the Hawaiian rolls it comes with. The naughty dog is $13, which is also good value for money. - Menu. They have vegan meats available, which is helpful. - Service. Punctual. Our order was ready for pickup when they said it would be. Their takeout packaging does a pretty good job of keeping everything contained. What's not - Menu variety. To be fair, they have vegan meats on the menu. However, their eggs and cheese are not vegan. Additionally, their dishes don't have much, if any veggies. This is specific to me, but I love veggies, especially salads. Furthermore, veggies aren't as filling and I don't feel as stuffed. That there aren't any salad options is a turn off for me. - Ambiance. For the few minutes that I was inside, I did not like it. The acoustics are terrible, because the sound carries very easily. There was music playing, and as a result, the music echoed even more loudly while I was inside. For the handful of seconds I spoke to their staffer when I picked up my order, she couldn't hear me. I'm guessing it's because of the sound. This place is not ideal to have a conversation with anyone. - Location. It's easy to find, but parking is not conducive. Final answer Would be willing to come back, but not a first pick given the heaviness of the menu items.

Great to see a new Dog Haus opening in the College Park area - UMD students must be excited for this! As other Dog Hauses, the menu inclues hot dogs, sausages, burgers, chicken, breakfast burritos, sliders, and even kid options, in addition to cocktails and craft beer. They use hormone-free and all-natural proteins and ingredients, which is awesome. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming, and very personable! The space is ample and plenty of seating - I recommend in sitting at their bar, as it's spacious and fun to watch the bartending staff make the drinks. We ordered: +the Chili Cheese Tots +Onion Rings +the Sooocali Haus Dog +the Little Mule burger Limited street parking available around the area. +friendly service +limited street parking in the area

The food was so good can't wait to try the sausages and burgers next. We got the old town which was literal perfection and the cowboy. Such great dogs quick service 2 dogs a drink and 6 wings came up to about $33. Each dog is ~7.95 and sausages are ~8.95. There is a drink fountain with specialty drinks next to the them. There is also a fully stocked bar as well. Not to loud they do have plastic utensils if it is needed. They also have vegan/vegetarian options as well

I visited Dog Haus for National Hot Dog Day, and a big shoutout to them for giving out free hot dogs! I went with the classic Downtown Hot Dog, featuring smoked bacon, caramelized onions, mayo, mustard, and ketchup, all served on a Hawaiian roll bun. Honestly, it doesn't get better than this. The bacon and onions were perfectly cooked, and the light sweetness of the Hawaiian roll tied everything together. Dog Haus hot dogs are absolutely amazing! Plus, I got my order quickly--ready in about 5 minutes from when I placed it!

A whole bunch of bacon bits in the IMPOSSIBLE Haus Burrito. Thought this was supposed to be a more VEGAN option

Their Impossible burritos are good. I ordered from them a handful of times. Even though they have left the paperback on the cheese one time n i only found out when i bit into it....i am very forgiving. But yesterday when i ordered them Impossible burritos....it had so much bacon bits in there....aint this suppose to be a VEGAN option?????? Its not even in the item description. Chile....we not doing this no more.

Although the space is on the smaller side, there was plenty of bar seating, an ample number of booths and the drink prices were a good deal. If I lived a little closer, I could see myself dropping by much more frequently. T he only downside that felt apparent to everyone I came here with, was the strong smell of fried fish. I personally wasn't too phased, assuming it as part of their menu. But the longer we settled in we realized it was coming in from an adjacent business which is incredible hard to control. With that being said, we smelled like fried fish when we got into my friends car and the smell followed us everywhere for the rest of the night. Like I said, I understand that's a hard thing to control but it may be something to be mindful of if you've got anywhere you need to go after. Overall though, totally in love with the laid back vibes here and would definitely return.

My group of 5 enjoyed a variety of their drinks and dishes, sharing 3 appetizers, enjoying 5 entrees, and indulging in two of their desserts. I started off with an alcoholic Mai Thai. Food wise, I had their grilled oysters, brussel Cesar, fried chicken curry dish, trifle dessert, and sorbet. As a non-seafood person, it was a big deal for me to try their oysters. I started slow with just their grilled oysters. They were drowning in garlic and butter, so it was hard not to like. The Brussel cesar was also a solid shareable. I appreciated that the salad did not come drenched in dressing. The curry friend chicken was phenomenal! The chicken fell of the bone so easily and was so crispy, moist, and overall outstanding. The curry and impossible rice paired perfectly with it. Finally, the desserts! I could have eaten two of the trifle dessert...it was smooth, creamy, and the perfect amount of sweet. It was everyone's favorite between the two. The sorbet was good, but I found the white chocolate a little weird/awkward since it was sitting around a bunch of cold sorbet...didn't melt or mesh well with the dish. It wasn't bad, but I'd try something else next time. Overall, I loved this place. The vibes, staff, and food were amazing. I can't wait to introduce more friends to this gem.

The menu has shrunk significantly and what's left doesn't justify the price point. $20 for deviled eggs? And nearly everything is paired with grits, which is interesting for a restaurant billing itself as African and Asian fusion. I brought a Nigerian friend along and we were both equally confused by that creative direction. Safe to say grits aren't exactly a staple. We were told about off-menu options tomahawk, ribeye (out of stock), and branzino. We went with the branzino and a potato hash that turned out to be exactly what it sounds like: cut up potatoes and what tasted like powdered eggs straight from a hotel breakfast buffet. The branzino needed salt, pepper AND hot sauce to get there, that's not a seasoning preference.. The ambience and decor remain the highlight genuinely a beautiful space. So we were super surprised when we arrived to be only 1 of 4 tables seated in the entire restaurant our entire stay, I guess the thrill is gone. We even adhered to a dress code that was not even enforced. We were greeted by the host as soon as we walked in with a glass of champagne. Our server Aniyah was friendly, hospitable and busy, seemingly taking care of all 4 of the tables herself. For appetizers we began with the Wagyu Cheesesteak Fusion Rolls and the Sticky Ribs Suya which both were tender and tasty. For dinner, I ordered the Jerk-Braised Short Ribs with Curry Pea Risotto and my friend had the Gochujang-Glazed Salmon Fried Rice. My Ribs were good but it was absolutely nothing compared to that Gochujang-Glazed Salmon Fried Rice. It was hands down the best fried rice that I've ever had! It was spicy, the salmon was juicy and perfectly seasoned. It was delicious. While I get the reverence that Chef Tobias has for Guy Fieri and the food network, since we've watched him on there a billion times, that was all that was played consecutively on all of the TV's. It would have been nice to have something else playing in the background along with the music. Overall, dining there was nice, relaxed, a little pricey but good.
