Redrock Grilled Shrimp over a bed of rice, sweet potato and Fresh Steamed Broccoli with a side of melted butter
    Chin D.

I haven't been to Long Horn in about 5 years but I had a gift card to use so my cousin and I came here this Friday evening. It was quite busy but we were able to be seated at a booth by the bar within 10 mins. We both ordered the 2 sangria flavors and they were huge! I had the berry while my cousin had the peach. They are pre-made so we didn't taste much alcohol in them. My meal was a 10 out 10! I ordered the Redrock grilled shrimp meal (12 count) and it comes with rice but you can pick 2 other sides. I opted for a sweet potato and broccoli with melted butter. The shrimp are very flavorful in its own tomato butter sauce which blended well with the rice. The sweet potato with butter and brown sugar was warm and delicious. I used the melted butter over my broccoli. My cousin ordered the salmon with a side salad, asparagus and baked potato but after she saw my meal come out, she wasn't as aesthetically pleased with hers lol. I think if she kept the rice that came with it, the plate would have looked more full because the salmon was small. We both ate our entire meal so no room for dessert. I will return to get my same meal again but opt for a different cocktail next time. Overall, great revisit to Long Horn!

I always see people talking about Longhorn so I finally decided to stop by, and honestly, no notes! We only had a 3 minute wait for a table. The server was kind and attentive. The wings were tasty, the chowder was perfect, the bread was warm and soft, parm-crusted lamb chops are a must have! I could eat those every day. They were cooked just right. Next time I'll make sure to leave room for desert.

Arrived at Longhorn in Laurel, MD on an early Saturday evening. We were not greeted at all by the male host, instead met with a blank stare. I ordered an espresso martini, they did not have the ingredients to make it, changed it to an old fashioned (sent back - too strong). We ordered the mushrooms stuffed with cheese for an appetizer - seasoned very well, plenty of cheese, very good! I had the NY strip steak well done, asked for brussel sprouts (they didn't have), with caesar salad (not much dressing & didn't taste like it was caesar), loaded baked potato (very little loaded anything inside & it was luke warm). The NY strip was very good, especially the end pieces, seasoned well, cooked the way I asked - med well. The ends tasted like they were cooked on the grill. I would eat at the restaurant again, just not this location. I forgot to take a pic of the mushroom when I got them.

I came here with my family and it was a good experience. The service was a little slow as they were just opening when we came and were not fully staffed yet. Our waiter did the best she could under the circumstance. My family members all ordered the rib eye, cooked medium, and 2 sides. They were satisfied with the steak as it was seasoned light and cooked to their desired temperature. I ordered the 6 oz Flo's filet and it was very juicy and tender. The seasoning was not too overpowering which I appreciate. The sides of mash potatoes, house salad and bread were pretty standard. In conclusion, besides the slow service; everything else was satisfactory at this Longhorn location.

I saw this meal on TikTok and I had to try it. I hadn't had Longhorn in ages and I will be coming back more often. I ordered takeout and everything was piping hot by time I got home. The Parmesan crusted chicken is extremely juicy and flavorful. It was honestly a lot of food for one serving. I also ordered the Parmesan spinach dip and their home made tortilla chips. That was 10/10. I didn't get a chance to sit in the restaurant but I plan to return.

Wait time on top of the 30 mins I waited inside just standing there

Isn't the whole purpose of mobile and online orders as well as your take out orders placed over the phone to make things more convenient and less wait time? Why did I come inside to try to place to go order and I'm instructed to go to take out order line. I wait for 30+ mins to then leave as I was unattended. I go out to to just order online and the menu is saying it's past 2:30 so I can't order. I then call and put on an extended hold time with literally still no answer as I type this and I'm literally in parking lot by the chick fil A. So what's exactly is the purpose of the front person is they can't assist with taking orders. It can't be that complex for them to input a to go order. You guys need to reconsider your inside waiting areas as well as the line for the to go orders because it's too crowded in there for the setup you have. And it's way to many employees standing around for there to be so much to do. Give them a tablet or something to input orders. This is the worse location I've ever been to in my life.

I have been here a few times and have had pretty good experiences here. This location is in a plaza, so parking is pretty plentiful and you usually can get a spot close to the entrance, if that is important to you. On my most recent visits here, we were greeted immediately and had little to no wait. The service was pretty good and appreciate the servers timing the appetizers and entrees so there's enough time in between but not too little time. I'm not a meat eater so I can't speak to the steak (I know, I know) but i really enjoyed the onion petals (can't remember the name but basically a deconstructed blooming onion). Admittedly, I think I first saw these on tik tok (don't judge). I've also had their Parmesan crusted chicken and salmon and both are pretty good though a little salty. The rice, brussels, and baked potato are all also pretty good. My only issue is it can get a little dark in here but that's not a huge issue for me. But as a chain steakhouse, this might be my favorite at the moment. Recommend giving a try.

I don't dine at barbecue chains very often since I try to watch my diet, but I was happy to find plenty of options that weren't overly greasy, fried, or smothered in sauce. The meats are slow-smoked, and a variety of house barbecue sauces are conveniently available at each table so you can customize the flavor to your liking. Parking is easy, with a large free lot behind the building as well as free street parking nearby. We visited on a Friday afternoon with a group of 10 and were seated together without any problem. They also accommodated separate checks, which is always appreciated for larger groups. The dining room has a comfortable, spacious feel with dark wood accents and nostalgic photos and posters decorating the walls. The menu offers a good variety of barbecue favorites, combination platters, salads, and lunch specials. One member of our group needed gluten-free options, and the staff helped her find a meal that worked well for her dietary needs. Most of us ordered the pulled pork sandwich, while others chose salads. We also shared the onion loaf appetizer, which disappeared quickly. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. Our server was covering several tables, so service was a little slow at times, but she remained friendly, attentive, and handled our requests professionally. The portions were generous, prices were reasonable, and the quality exceeded my expectations. I'd happily return with family to sample more of their smoked meats--especially the ribs.

I normally get the beef brisket either sandwich or entree, which comes with cornbread, and mac n' cheese or beans. Brisket you can get lean or moist. Moist is even more delicious, but less healthy than lean. Also, there are 6 varieties of BBQ sauces. My favorites are Texas Twang & West Virginia one. They have a Maryland style, which is a pretty good effort. There's also Carolina, Mississippi, & one other one. Good BBQ is hard to come by in MD, but Mission BBQ is always a great choice. Their blueberry clobber is incredible too, which I got a couple of times for free around Valentine's Day. Staff has always been nice at the Laurel location. Also, they support the troops & first responders. On 9/11 anniversary, they get a free sandwich that day. In 2024, my conservative dad also told me that at Noon everyday, they do the National Anthem. I asked my dad follow-up questions: Me: "Walked in at 12:05. Wonder if they still do that. Never heard them do before, but never was here exactly at 12. Do people stand up for national anthem at 12 even if they are in the middle of eating? Dad: "Yes" Me: "Does everyone stand up, or do some stay seated as they don't want their food to get cold or whatever?" Dad: "The employees stop working. Everyone except liberals stand up. They all face the flag waving on the TV until it is done. Many clap at the end of cheer." Me: "Oh wow, that's cool. So you do see some liberals stay seated?" Dad: "Just kidding on that." Me: "Oh and is it at every location? Like does Laurel, MD & all of them do it?" Dad: "All of them" Another time I arrived just before noon, which was nice as everyone stood up to put their hand on their heart while National Anthem is played. In 2024, my friend had a differing opinion from my dad on this noon National Anthem: Me: "Just missed National Anthem. My dad said Mission BBQ does at Noon everyday. I've never been right at noon." Him: "I would be pissed if I was in the middle of eating and had to stand up for national anthem." Me: "I hope I'm there one day so I can participate." Him: "Dealbreaker for an early lunch there for me." Me: "Liberals eat late. Conservatives eat first." Him: "Yeah they should have the conservatives eat at 11:30 and the libs eat at 12:30." Overall, I highly recommend Mission BBQ for the great food and friendly service.

Usually with brunch we would do the bottomless mimosas and all but because I was driving I decided not to participate in that. And usually I would get chicken and waffles but I was in the mood for a burger. So I thought because their name is "Mad Cow" the burger would be the bomb...but nope it was not good at all. So I prefer a beef burger cooked medium with blue cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onions. When I burger got tot the table it was dry as a board. No blue cheese that I paid extra for and the burger was not cooked correctly it was cooked well done. Smdh. So the waiter brought me my blue cheese apologized about it and also gave me a mayo bottle. Even with the burger still was not good and the patty was so thick with no flavor not even salt and pepper was in it!! I tried their punch drink which was really good but for $15 a pop in a regular water glass was ridiculous. Make sure you don't get too tipsy as they already have like a 20% gratuity added on each of our checks no matter how small or big your group is which again is ridiculous! Today, I gave them another shot because Uber Eats was offering a buy one, get one free deal on the jerk chicken meal. I chose rice & peas with plantain for my sides. The chicken was cooked on the grill--which I love--because it really brings out the flavor in jerk chicken. I also requested my jerk sauce on the side since I prefer a dry rub style over a saucy one. The only drawback was the small bone pieces in the chicken and rice. That's something to be cautious about, especially if a child is eating the meal. The plantains were also inconsistent--some pieces were hard, while others were mushy. On the bright side, the coco bread was perfect and the Jamaican rum cake was phenomenal. Whoever baked that cake clearly took their time soaking it in rum. It reminded me of the way my grandmother used to make it--absolutely delicious. I would definitely order the rum cake again.
