Recently visited dog haus and it was so good! The server was really sweet and patient. She explained how the restaurant works and gave us her recommendations. She was very friendly and was not hesitant to make jokes to keep the good vibes! The restaurant opens the side doors to let fresh air in on a sunny day which is amazing if you don't want to sweat in the sun but still want to feel a nice breeze. The sliders were amazing, the chicken was not dry which is common in bar food places. The concept of every bread being rolls gives the hot dog an extra security when picking it up. Really excited to go back when the days are warmer and can enjoy the patio section! read more

Check out this location to have some food and watch a World Cup game ( England vs Argentina). The bar was full with patrons, the game was on. We seated ourselves as there was no host but lots of waiters/waitress walking around. We sat at a simple rail table and waited for someone to wait on us and take our drink, food order. The staff just seemed oblivious to our being there and walked past several times. I finally went to the waitress station and got the attention of I believe the manager; He took my drink order; a Diet Coke wit bourbon and a Gallant Chocolate Stout. The tap spit so he went back to tap another keg. Was taking sometime; so got attention of the bartender ( Chrisella sp? ). I switched to a Founders stout and DC/bourbon. She was on it and gave me menus. Took drinks back to table and looked over the menu options. Many sounded very good; but still no one to take order. Went to waitress station and Sella took our order. 1 mile burger and one smash burger and split fries. We moved to the bar as a few patrons had left. Enjoyed game and soon food arrived. The burgers were really good and fries nice and crisp. Seen some pretty nice hot dogs served along with some hot fries. Even though service was mostly extinct, Chrisella made up for it. I'd like to plan to come back and try a few other interesting food and drink items. They do have one of the more comprehensive lists of beer line ups in the local area. Fiona was our server and she was good. She cautioned us that rain was coming, and had we eaten outside we'd have been drenched because it poured down. One of us got a burger bowl and sweet potato fries and loved everything. One of us got fries and onion rings. The fries were good, rings not as good. Two of us got cheeseburger sliders. The concept is good, but you can get MUCH better sliders at the original slider spot a few blocks away. These were on Hawaiian rolls (good) but the amount of burger was as flat as a piece of paper and didn't even cover half the bun. The amount of cheese couldn't have been more than one inch. We have the Dog Haus mug which gives us 24oz beer for the 20oz price. A nice perk but the mug is $$ so you gotta make sure it's worth your while. They have 24 beers on tap, but probably 1/3 to 1/2 are always the same. We tend to need breaks so we can find new ones as we like variety. The food is good and made to order. We always sit at the bar and service is a bit hit and miss since we aren't regulars. The vibe is a sports bar, and there are 13 TVs in the bar area. read more

I came in early on a weekday to grab a breakfast burrito, and the place was empty except for one patron at the bar. The bartender asked if I wanted a to-go order but I decided to stay and eat, despite the very sports bar environment not being my typical bag. However, the runner brought the order out in a to-go container. The bartender asked if I wanted it transferred to a plate, and at that point, I just decided to leave and eat it on the go. Considering there was no one else there, I'm not sure how they messed that up; while the bartender was friendly, there were servers on the floor just hanging around chatting and looking bored, so much so that I thought they were customers at first. Didn't make the best impression. I got the "Wurst" burrito with egg, sage sausage, and chipotle mayo, and it was pretty good with a very large portion. So that somewhat made up for the lazy service. I'd probably come back in a pinch but it wouldn't be at the top of my list. read more

The service really stood out to me during our visit to Dog Haus Biergarten. We were greeted at the door as we asked if sitting outside was possible. Our hostess suggested the shady table and cleaned it for us. The patio space was large and super clean. Hannah was our server, she was so friendly! I ordered the Little Mule burger and onion rings with a 6 Foot Strawberry Blond Ale. My partner ordered a Peach Cider Boy Cider and the Hot Chick sandwich (hottest seasoning). These burgers/sandwiches were packed with flavor and unique, as they used Hawaiian rolls for the buns. The hottest seasoning wasn't super hot, I'm a wimp with heat and I took a few bites with no issues. The tenders on the sandwich were a generous size. The drinks were refreshing. My only critique would be the onions rings, they were listed as $7.99 on the menu and I noticed afterwards when looking at the receipt, that I was charged $10. Not a huge deal but not worth $10, I would for sure skip next time. Highly recommend this place for the food, service and outside area! read more

We got a To-Go order of their New Albany burger week burger. This was the New Albany Farmhouse burger. It has several toppings and a lot of flavor. The sunny side egg on the burger was really juicy and the Hawaiian Rolls made for an excellent bun. Even with all of the toppings (lettuce, red onion, white cheddar cheese, bacon, fried green tomatoes, a sunny side up egg and miso ranch) the flavor of the burger still shined through and was delicious! We also got the Hot Fries. The burger was delicious but the hot fries were my favorite part!! They were hot, crispy, and had so much flavor! I love hot things and loved the heat - I can see where they could be considered pretty hot to some an the heat does build if you eat several in a row but again I love this flavor profile. We also got the slaw to help balance the heat of the fries if needed. We got the order to go for lunch. We were impressed by the to go packaging. The bag is really sturdy and really fun! It may sound silly but their take out packing is by far my favorite I have ever seen! We plan on coming back to try some of their other food in the future and look forward to dining in and trying one of their several beers. A genuinely happy surprise. Possibly some of the best bar food I've had in a long time. My sincerest apologies to the Costco hot dog--there's a new wiener in town, and it's elevated. Corn dogs are dipped in root beer. Buns are Hawaiian rolls. The onion rings might be the best in the area. These hot dogs have main character energy. And the second-best part (the food is obviously first): dogs are welcome inside--not just on the patio. Inside. My dog approves, and honestly, so do I. Bonus points for their themed trivia nights. I've been recommended Dog Haus by numerous friends that I know all the time. So tonight, I decided to stop on by and see what all the buzz is about. Right away when I arrived I noticed just how open and welcoming this establishment is. It has a very trendy feel and the staff are all on top of it from making sure any questions are answered to checking to make sure if you need anything. You'll have a very hard time not finding a place to sit as Dog Haus offers both an indoor and outdoor seating. Inside they have an island style bar that sits quite a few patrons and have some video screen surrounding the area to catch any game whether it be basketball, football or whatever event may be going on. The food here is exceptionally delicious and I was extremely pleased with my order. On this visit, I scanned their very well organized and put together menu that isn't overwhelming at all and one thing I really thought was interesting and appealing was that most everything on the menu can be a bowl and not just a sandwich or a burrito. I decided to go with their burger, The Hangover, which has white American cheese, smoked bacon, Haus chili, fried egg and mayo in between two patties that are each four pieces of Hawaiian bread and also with French fries. Everything tasted great and came out rather quickly. The burger was made very well and was full of flavor and not a lot of grease which is what I personally want out of a burger. The fries were nice a crispy and also didn't feel at all very greasy. All-in-all I highly recommend coming to Dog Haus which features a menu full of various hotdogs, sausages, burritos, burgers and beers for any and everyone to enjoy and a place that you'll definitely want to come back to try even more. read more

I don't make a lot of trips to New Albany, but when I do, this is one of the main spots that I wanna go to. This is an excellent spot with indoor and outdoor dining that is inviting! They specialize in hot dogs and burgers, even breakfast burritos! Now why is the vegetarian excited about this place? They have veggie options that are delicious and so well done. The tater tots are crunchy and perfect sides. They have excellent cocktails and beer options. Service was prompt and kind and they let us try a new cocktail sample as well! Starting in September they even have Jeopardy trivia. I'll be making more trips to New Albany. read more

I ordered a hamburger slider and a corn dog with tater tots with a cheese sauce. Everything was tasty and warm. My husband got the tater tots with chili and slaw and a chicken sandwich. He got so much he had to bring some of it home. Our server was good. He kept our cups filled and returned with a to go box quickly. The room is loud and they had the garage door open when we came in but decided to close it, it was NOT warm enough to be open. So glad they closed it I was freezing! I recently went to trivia night at Dog Haus. They have a menu full of burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and BREAKFAST BURRITOS. Breakfast burritos that you can order ALL DAY. So, at 8 pm at night I ordered The Bronco as my entree. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the most perfect breakfast burrito I've ever had. Crumbled crispy bacon, sunny side eggs, white American cheese, tater tots, jalapeños. All wrapped in a tortilla and lightly grilled. They have tons of events that garner a large crowd and they still manage to get food and drinks out in a timely manner. I'll definitely be back. read more

Dogs are served with no side and most run about $11. Now here is my problem, those dogs talk(bark) at you all afternoon if you know what I mean. We have had indigestion for hours and can't pin point the mean dog who caused this. Tots were luke warm. Service was luke warm, hardly ever saw him. My favorite thing is when it is time to tip, there they are starting with the lead of 25%. Their sign is we love weiners, but this spot is not the winner of weiners. The burger patties are halal due to them being creekstone, but I was recently told that not all locations have halal beef sausages, so I will need to ask them the next time I go, because I thought it was also halal. I've been here a few times in the past and decided to review it after my experience last night. If you like draft beer, then this is a good place for you. Everytime you go, they will have at least 15-20 on tap beers. Every time I go I usually get Guinness. It is one of the better Guinness drafts you can get in the local area. The food here has always been good and it was once again the other day. I got chicken tenders with the Buffalo sauce on the side, as well as an order of the chili cheese tots. Both of these were very delicious and enjoyable. The Buffalo sauce seems to be their own recipe, it's pretty unique. Only a small gripe- they seemed to be a bit skimpy on some portions. Someone in my party ordered a cheeseburger slider, it probably had less meat on it than a White Castle slider. On the chili cheese fries I feel like they could have put a bit more chili and cheese as it felt like they were holding back a little bit. I think to give a 3 or 4 star here would be a bit harsh considering my past experiences here, but definitely was a tad disappointed read more

We drove by this place while on the area and was enticed. We walked over after visiting another place & love the layout & openness. They have a nice bar area and huge craft beer menu. The menu looked very interesting with the different types of hot dogs, sausages & burgers. We figured that we try some hot dogs & I wanted to try a corn dogs & their fries looked amazing. I got the SOOO Cali & corn dog slider & my date got the T-Mex sausage & we got an order of the hot fries. I also got a 20oz of the Great Lake strawberry pineapple fruited wheat. The beer was excellent & chill. The hot dogs were delicious, wrapped warmed with Hawaiian rolls the Sooo cali dog nice touch with the avocado & spicy aioli & the T-Mex brought some heat but not super spicy. What was surprising spicy was the Hot Fries didn't except that. The corn dog slider was okay the root beer batter was different slightly sweet but different flavor from an og corn dog. The Dog Haus has been on my list for a visit since before it opened. I've been anxiously looking forward to the new concept for a while and my expectations were high. Maybe too high. I thought with a name like "Haus," a big sign that says "Biergarten," and a slogan of "The Absolute Wurst" (which I genuinely enjoyed seeing plastered on one of their trucks), this was going to be a fun spin on some German food with a focus on hot dogs and sausages. The space itself is decked in black, white, and wood tones. There isn't a lot of decoration, but there is a massive bar that occupies the main room. Tables are against the outer walls but if there's a line to order at the bar some of those are going to be inconvenient. There is additional seating in the room over with garage doors that open to the event space. The stage overlooks outdoor tables beneath a pergola where the established wisteria from the previous tenant has been removed. Inside the doors are some leather sofas and chairs around coffee tables. We sat perched on the booths further in. I say "perched" specifically because the seats are simply too high despite clearly being custom-built for the space. I'm 6'1 and about 80% legs and my feet barely sat flat on the floor. TV's are all over the place as well. The menu is fairly extensive. Hot dogs, sausages, hamburgers, chicken, sliders, sides, cocktails, beer... Quite a bit. Maybe too much, too unfocused? I got Da Brat. Going with a staple. It was good! Served on a King's Hawaiian roll which I thought would be weird, but turned out to be good. All the cased meats are served on those rolls, though, which I am a little skeptical of working for everything. Of everything I tried, the tots were the apex. They didn't taste like there's a chef or anything making going out of their way for their craft, but they were cooked just right! Service seemed to be understaffed during my visit. There was one guy running everything out front which is just too few. It was clear that he was frazzled. I don't think that this is normal, so I'll give it a pass. There's no table service, but there is a QR code at the table to order more beer. I didn't try that method, so that's an unchecked box for me. Dog Haus is a good sports bar. I could see coming here to relax and watch a game, but I don't think that the German promise made by the name is met. read more

Had a chili dog with pickled jalapeños and I wasn't expecting to like the bun as much as I did, but that's what a hotdog bun should be! Melts in your mouth, compliments the savory dog, and the chili was totally on point. Not spicy, just good. The fries are some of the best textured fries I've had around here. Perfectly crispy and some give on the inside, awesome flavor. Will be back with friends because the beer selection and menu look great! read more

The food was good & everything is so nice, new & open. Staff was friendly & helpful. Plenty of TVs & a full bar. I really liked their slaw on my Nashville Chicken bowl. I chose the spicier style Nashville Hot & it had the perfect kick. The slaw helped tone it down a notch. I loved the flavor. I wasn't a huge fan of their grilled chicken but I can't wait to try their fried chicken & smash burgers! I will say sitting at the bar is the only full service otherwise you order at the counter. The food was excellent!! The chicken fingers were huge!! My husband had a burrito and I literally wanted half of it! They have this spicy basil sauce that tastes like a fresh garden! Their burgers come on 4 king Hawaiian rolls as one bun! The waitress was super pretty and very well mannered as well as diligent. The too chi dog is great. I've wanted a Chicago style hot dog around here for years. Finally I've found a good one.

First off for the time being on ketuckianadeals.com you can buy a $25 voucher for $10. Normally I wouldn't spend this much for a hamburger and a bratwurst, but these were excellent begin with the bratwurst had a very good smooth grind. It wasn't paste, but it had some true to it still but it was no gristle and it was very smooth the flavor was moderate a little bit of spice not much the batter Wasn't wonderful, but it was fresh and hot. Would've liked it to be a little bit more fluffy, but it was still very good. It was a very large bratwurst as you can see in the picture. My only complaint with that is that they used their ketchup and it wasn't bad catchup. I think it's like aldis or something, but they had Heinz mustard. For the burgers, you can add a second patty for 299 and a second slice of cheese much very much worth it. The garlic aïoli is delicious. The burgers come on for Hawaiian Kings Hawaiian rolls and you can then very easily cut it into like four little double sliders so it's pretty good. The bacon has excellent flavor with the crumbles and the cheese in the pill are wonderful. It comes with onions too of course I don't have any opinion of those cause I have them left off. I hate onions. The wait staff was friendly and of course, when you buy the voucher, you don't have to pay tax so it's even a better deal. There's parking on the street. Avoid the paid lot next-door. It's owned by law office and you don't wanna park there the meat taste it real and no gristle in it either read more

I always get excited when new eateries pop up in a small town. However, I was not really impressed. We were greeted immediately and sat in the bar area. First turn off was the bartender serving us was very negative about her place of work. If you're not happy with your job, move along to a new one. Second I offered a beer and waited 15 minutes for it to be handed to me from the 4' space between the beer taps and where we were sitting. I ordered the Downtown Dog with no ketchup, a side of slaw and my hubby ordered Holy Aioli burger and a side of Tots. 25 minutes later we received our food. But not as ordered because there was no slaw and there it was ketchup staring me in the eyes (yes there is a story behind my disdain for ketchup). It was taken back and I just tried my husband's food and the slaw. The slaw had no seasoning, extremely bland. The Holy Aioli burger was good and the tots just needed salt of some sort. As we finished the meal, 25 minutes later, we asked for a check. As we were paying, the hot dog returned to the scene. I was really sad and was looking forward to this outing. The tots are just standard tots but the cheese sauce was a good addition. I really enjoyed the corn dog slider! Admittedly, I went back the next day to try a burger as I was torn on the first trip. The burgers are delicious as well. Both the hot dogs and hamburgers are served with buns that are Hawaiian rolls! You order at the register and they bring the food to you. I hate to poorly rate local establishments but this place doesn't warrant high marks. I raised it from a two to three just because it was clean, nicely decorated and service was okay, I had high higher hopes for this fairly new restaurant. Admittedly I'm not a big hot dog or burger fan; therefore, the menu wasn't my favorite. Being a "dog haus", I ordered what should be the best in the menu - a hot dog - Chicago style to be exact. The toppings hit the mark and the though I was leery of the Hawaiian bun, it was quite good; however, the star of the show, the hot dog, was a basic, grocery store, Oscar Mayer-like version of a frank. I was expecting at least the likes of Costco or Sam's Club - large, juicy and flavorful. For $10.00 with no sides, this is much too pricey for lack of a quality hot dog. Sides and drinks were also expensive. Parking is on the street, but wasn't an issue. Unfortunately, the parking lot right beside the establishment is a public PAID lot - they should have paid the City for a few of them. First time visit, but won't be back as not enough variety, not high enough quality and too costly. read more

I met my brother here the other day just to have a couple beers. My brother ate some sausages and a couple apps. Everything came out very hot. Staff were on point. Very attentative to our needs. Dogs are allowed in the patio area. Everything is open seating so no need to go inside. The staff will come out and tend to your needs. No pets are allowed inside from what I know.
