Amazing staff and food! Came to Dog Haus on a Thursday night with my boyfriend and ordered the breakfast burrito at night time which is freaking amazing. The fact that they have breakfast burritos all day long and they are oh my God, the most bad ass amazing burritos ever, the eggs are custom ordered so you could get like over easy, over medium, scrambled etc and my boyfriend got the hot chick chicken bowl, which was also amazing. Their sauces are so good. You have to try the chili habanero hot sauce too if you've never had it and love spice!! It's a kicker! For drinks, they do beer samples, which are all so good. You can't go wrong! Also, I had their peach maple smash cocktail, which was so good. If you like bourbon, you have to try! My boyfriend had the mango cart a wheat ale and loved it!! Honestly, this place is so amazing. Been to four of their locations now in Phoenix, Chandler, Gilbert, and Tempe and every single one of their locations has the best service and the people are so nice. The food here is great, but sometimes the service is questionable. On my recent visit, I ordered a love boat with tots and a few other things. I didn't pay attention to what was on the screen because it thought it was a fairly simple order. When the food came out I noticed they gave me plain tots. The person who brought the food disappeared before I had a chance to notice and say something, so I brought the receipt up to the bar explaining the error. The bartender started walking to the register where there was a line of people waiting to order and then stopped to tell me that I'd have to pay the difference. Now I don't mind paying the difference, but expecting me to get back in line to sort this out while my freshly delivered food was getting cold was not the way to handle this. It made me want to say "Sure but can I take back my tip". Additionally, we're talking about a difference of a dollar or so. The right way to handle it would be to tell me to have a seat and they'll get it taken care of. If me paying the difference was so much of an issue they could have added that when they bring it by they'll take my payment for the difference. I would have been fine with that, though it still seems petty. Morale of the story is you gotta watch everything these people do to make sure stuff is right yourself. So good, I went twice. Nice chill spot. Friendly staff and cold beers with good food. First day was the old down hotdog and second was a burger, the little Mule. Little Mule has white American cheese, avocado, pickled jalapeños, cotija cheese, fried eggs, and chipotle aioli. The burger was cooked to a medium, without even asking. Tasty. The egg was cooked perfectly, the yolk covers the burger. The dog with the bacon on it!!! Have mercy!! Reminded me of a street dog. I went in to have a breakfast burrito from Bad Ass Breakfast Burritos, and not only was that breakfast burrito fucking delicious, but the bartender Johnny made me the most amazing michelada I've had since leaving California. I told him that it was a close second to Mr.Taco in Redlands,CA. This michelada was so good it made me cry. It made me miss home, it made me miss my friends. When you want fancy, creative hot dogs you have to pay the price! The haus dogs will run you $7.99. Love the creative use of Hawaiian rolls as buns cause who doesn't love Hawaiian rolls?! Also enjoyed the all beef dog because they're usually thicker and tastier. I agree that the dog:bun ratio (more dog, less bun) could be better. Bf had the hangover burger for $10.49, also served on Hawaiian rolls. The portion was generous and bf had about half saved for leftovers! The beef corn dog was $4.99 and ours was on the more burnt/toasty side. Good but I'd probably skip next time. Lastly we had chili cheese tots for $5.99. I appreciated the thoughtful packaging of the tots and chili cheese separately. The chili to cheese ratio was off and could have used more cheese. Here's the truth, don't go for dinner. It wasn't anything notable worth returning for - overpriced burger and a beer. Your typical bar food. But oh my gosh, the breakfast is TO DIE FOR. The breakfast burrito - the mule - is literally so dang good. We heard about the burrito from friends and ordered them for our leasing staff at our apartment complex and they RAVED about them for weeks. 10/10 recommend the burritos - i'm sure any of them are delicious. Came here the other night and man was it good. I got the little mule and it was amazing! The burger was juice and had the nice kick of spice to it which was balanced by the fried egg and avocado you get on top. The sweet potato fries are great to nice crisp to them. Had my meal delivered and bought the chili idol, cowboy and some onion rings. The bread is really good and soft and is basically grilled hawaiian rolls. So also sweet. I think it made the cowboy got dog too sweet for me as the bbq sauce seemed sweet. The chili idol was also good, but the chili seemed a little less flavorful. And the onion rings were a bit too salty for me, so maybe that's a personal taste preference. Overall it's good and flavorful. Came in for their two year anniversary for the $2 hot dog. I tried the soooo cali one, which has avocado, arugula, tomato and crispy onions in toasted Hawaiian bread:). It was humongous cuz of the bread. Perfectly balanced flavor. I had to use a plastic knife and fork to eat it. It was clean inside and I sat at the bar for my snack, but there are plenty of tables, and they have outdoor seating in the front. The guy working the front is really nice and well-mannered. Worst service and management, the workers in the back always get my order wrong, I'm not sure if they are not trained or just don't speak English. I used to go there often, but I have stopped. Everything I've had so far has been delicious. The Fonz which is a spicy sausage, wrapped in pastrami, was awesome. The chili idol chili dog, awesome. The hangover burger, awesome, although it would be more awesome with potatoes on it. I really love that both times I've been, they have cider on tap. The only debatable negative is that you have to order at the counter, but they give you a number and bring the food out to your table. I've been to plenty of restaurants where the waitstaff aren't very attentive, so maybe ordering at the counter isn't the worst thing. I'll definitely be back to try more bratwurst, hotdogs, and hamburgers. read more

Wow. I wasn't going to write a review but then THIS happened. I had a take-out order and brought it back to our hotel. We got two hot dogs, which were good and we enjoyed them. We threw on an order for onion rings because they looked so good on the menu. We were disappointed to find out that they were VERY different than the photo. The onion rings were actually just a onion-flavored batter shaped as Os. I decided to walk back and return them for a refund. The $4.50 + $0.80 for the unexpected onion donuts plus the sauce seemed worth the trip back based on principle. I was polite and friendly to the cashier. I made a joke about the onion rings being "fake news". She promptly and easily gave me a refund. I then nicely added a request asking her to let the management know that the onions pictured on the website show real beer battered onions, not like what we got. No big deal. I would have either not written a review or maybe just knocked down one star. But then this happened... The cashier explained that there was a supply chain shortage and that they had to substitute. And here was the kicker. She then said, "NOW YOU KNOW FOR NEXT TIME.". I was pretty surprised at the response. I was completely expecting a, "Oh, thanks for bringing that to our attention. We'll look into it and fix that." She had me flabbergasted for a second, but then responded "Okay" and promptly left. Trust me, there will be NO NEXT TIME. read more

A hot dog place is not a place I would typically go to. No hate to hot dogs but I just don't crave them often. My boyfriend is on a vegan kick so we recently tried the so veggie sausage. It was sooo good. The spicy basil aioli is so tasty you forget you're not having any meat. It pairs well with the crispy onions. Great location, subpar experience. We've been to other locations and had good experiences so we left disappointed the time we decided to come to this one. Place was at 30% capacity so it was not busy at all. Our food took forever to get to us and by the time it was placed in front of us, everything was COLD. I literally put my finger in the center of my chili cheese hot dog and could tell it wasn't even sitting underneath food warmers, that's how cold my food came to me. What annoyed us was that the kitchen staff kept calling out for a runner for a good 10-15 minutes with no response from the rest of the staff. After we received our food cold and soggy, we went up to let the acting manager know. That interaction had no problem solving components whatsoever other than a refund. Not even a suggestion to replace the food or have what we ordered warmed up. It was not the refund we wanted, we just wanted the food we paid for. Preferably warm/hot. But after the acting manager suggested the refund with no genuine concern for other resolution, we took the refund and left. Customer service can make or break an experience, and it definitely broke ours in that short interaction of letting them know our food was cold. Hate wasting food by the way, and would've let the experience slide had the acting manager taken initiative to warm up the food rather than a quick fix refund. read more

We stopped by during happy hour and ordered both the This burger and That burger. I don't remember which was which, but one had LTO and secret sauce, and the other had white cheese, sautéed onion and mayo. The Downtown dog had a nice snap to the wiener when biting into it and delicious sautéed onions. We really enjoyed the soft and sweet Hawaiian buns. The onion rings were tasty, but next time we'll try fries and tots on happy hour. They have a good selection of draft beer. Fast casual dining where you pay at the register and they deliver food to the table with a number system. Clean and modern interior. Great music and choices of bar height and regular height tables as well as seats at the bar. The fried foods were perfectly crispy. Dogs had great flavor. Served on Hawaiian buns was a fun and unique twist. Free WIFI.
