OK, so I've tried there breakfast burritos here before a few times and they were all amazing. This was my first time coming here for dinner. So I tried the Nashville hot chick sandwich and the chili cheese, tater tots. They were both delicious. I'll definitely be coming back to try it again.. I just called placed my order and picked it up got home and it was nicely packaged and still warm .

Hipster vibe. Large food portions. Friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great lunch or breakfast spot when on the run.

Second visit to this place and it was delicious. If you can wait and have a late afternoon lunch/early dinner, the place is not busy and the service is quick! My dairy-free husband got his questions answered so he could have a pain-free meal. Clean dining room, friendly staff...what's not to like?? Will definitely be back again!

Customer service 0/10 Ambiance 0/10 Food 0/10 Placed a pickup order at 8:30, got a notification my order was ready at 8:54 . Upon getting to the restaurant i was greeted rudely by a red headed/ ginger haired associate . She had an attitude before even assisting me . Told me my order was still being worked on because they were behind on a catering order . If my order wasn't ready it shouldn't have been pressed as complete in the system. After waiting over an hour and a half my food was ready. Staff are talking and laughing in the back while there is a line out the door for pickup orders/ doordash etc. customer service at this location is poor beyond compare . Owner of the establishment was there not once did he come out to apologize for the delays or even greet anyone . Staff didn't apologize for the inconvenience or thank everyone for waiting patiently for bad service at the least. Will not return and wouldn't recommend. After waiting the hour and a half food was cold and wrong .

My grandpa is a hot dog enthusiast, so we often visit Dog Haus. Their menu isn't limited to hot dogs. They have sliders, corndogs, and burgers. The chili cheese fries are my personal favorite.

Came here to claim my free breakfast burrito (any kind I wanted) for my birthday. I got the one called Haus. It was good. I was only able to eat half though. It was a lot to eat. The burrito is huge! I also tried the chili cheese fries. Man! The chili has a kick! I ate parts of the fries that had no chili. I couldn't handle it. The fries were nice and crispy by the way. My fiancee had to eat the chili cheese fries since I couldn't handle it.

Went tonight to celebrate national cheeseburger day all by accident. I clicked on an old email about a $5 reward, and the app showed it expired yesterday. I came across the fact that it was national cheeseburger day. I sent it to my husband, and he was 100% down for dog haus, especially since it was BOGO for their haus cheeseburger. We placed an order on the app, and my husband went to go pickup our food. He, excitedly, came home with the burgers. I started eating mine right away because the baby in my belly was hungry lol. Sadly, his burger had onions, and he can't eat them. He went back, and Christian helped him again. He was the one that helped him earlier. Christian was doing everything back there by himself. He was super apologetic and got his burger to him right away. It was perfect the second time around. Thank you, Christian! And thank you, Dog Haus, for a delicious cheeseburger to celebrate tonight!

Came in at 8am, the place was fully staffed but they were slammed w large Togo orders boxes of burritos being made. It took almost an hour for us to get our done in order. We weren't in a rush bc we were killing time, worth the wait our food came out hot n fresh

The food is good, no doubt about it. The cashier suggested to me that I could use the kiosk to look at the menu as well as place an order, so I did. When I ordered my corn dog, it asked what dipping sauce(s) I'd like and listed the cost of each one. So I paid about 49 cents for mustard. I thought that seemed really stingy of them. When we started eating, my friend said he wanted some ranch, so I dug into my purse for some quarters to buy his ranch, but to my surprise, one of the ladies working the counter kindly asked what I needed and just gave it to me. So, if you order at the kiosk you will pay money for dipping sauces. If you order with a human being, your dipping sauces are provided at no extra charge. Got it. Weird. Whole meal costed around $75 (sheeeeesh).

First time eating here. Had planned to go elsewhere but it was closed so we decided to give this spot a try. Cute spot. It was empty when we got there but there was a steady stream of orders being picked up. We ordered from our table using a QR code. While waiting for our order we took advantage of the games they had available. My cousin enjoyed the Oahu Chicken and a breakfast Burrito. The chicken sandwich was a 7/10 good flavor but could have used either more sauce or some sort of spice. The burrito was a 7/10 as well and needed more avocado and less salt.

So I sat waiting for order after checking at counter and being told it wasn't ready. 15 minutes later after watching folks go and come, I go back to counter only to told, "oh I didn't see the order" this is not a way to start the new year. I'm not letting folk get on my nerves this year.

Ask the Community - Dog Haus - Carson

Hi, are your chicken and beef burgers halal?

Yes! Both our chicken and beef are halal.

Is the chicken and beef hot dogs halal certified?

Hi Sadia, our beef dogs are halal certified. We do not carry chicken dogs at the moment, but we do have turkey dogs.

    Do they take cash?

Yes, we take cash, card, and contactless payments such as Apple Pay.

Do they serve breakfast burritos at this location?

Yes we do! We started them 3 weeks ago!

Why are you closed on Mon and Tues now?

    No we are not!

    Are the tater tots vegan?

Hi Katherine, Thanks for asking your question.…

My Buddhist wife is a VERY strict vegan. Doesn't want her veggie patty or v-sausage cooked on a grill shared with meat. Any hope for her? If not, would you sell us uncooked Impossible Burger patties that we could cook at home?

Hi Paul, Thanks for reaching out to us.…

Can I choose "protein style "?

Yes, lettuce instead of bread. Yes you can

So your veggie burger is vegan?

They say the pattie is vegan. However, the King's Hawaiian Rolls are made with butter and eggs.

    Is there vegan option here?

Hi Robin, Thanks for reaching out to us with your question.…

My partner enjoyed the buttermilk pancakes with no complaints and a particular taking to the thick cut bacon! 8.5/10 the only reasons for docking points was parking and the mocha muchaco being a little too milk forward. The place is oddly quiet and dead, could only hear some conversations from nearby tables. Large tv playing Bob's Burgers just felt very empty and dead, no life. This was my second visit to Clutch and Coffee. Approximately nine months ago, I came with a friend…read moreand had an excellent experience. I entered with my service dog without any issue. Today I arrived about ten minutes before 8:00 a.m. We were the only customers present besides one waitress and a male employee. He wore a black hat, had a short blonde beard, wire-rimmed glasses, and small-gauge black earring plugs. This employee demonstrated no knowledge of ADA or California service animal laws. Given the number of seniors and service-animal users in Old Torrance, staff handling the front should be familiar with these requirements. He asked me to sit on the patio. I requested an indoor booth instead. He then asked for papers or identification for the service dog. I explained that no such documentation is required under the law and that fraudulent service animals often carry papers. I informed him that businesses may ask only two questions: (1) whether the animal is a service dog required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task the dog has been trained to perform. He continued to raise health-code concerns and responded dismissively. He eventually seated us in a booth. Service after seating was poor. The waitress ignored our table for approximately seventeen minutes. She did not inform us that menus were already on the table. She later set down waters without comment and left. A young male employee refilled our drinks first. The waitress returned to the table only a couple of times and appeared only at the end when she noticed money on the table for the check. We were seated away from other guests and largely ignored throughout the meal, which made the experience awkward. We waited an extended period for the check. When an elderly woman and her daughter arrived at the front door, we stood to leave. We waited another two to three minutes with payment in hand before placing the money on the table and departing. The restroom was filthy. There were no paper towels for drying hands. Toilet paper was on the floor, soap was on the ground, and toilet-seat covers were scattered and torn from the wall dispenser. As we appeared to be the first customers to use the restroom that morning, the condition suggests it had not been cleaned from the previous evening. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title III, restaurants are places of public accommodation and must allow service dogs to accompany individuals with disabilities in all areas open to the public, including indoor seating. Staff may ask only two questions when it is not obvious that a dog is a service animal: (1) whether the dog is a service animal required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task the dog has been trained to perform. Businesses may not require documentation, identification cards, certification, vests, or any form of paperwork. They also may not inquire about the nature of the person's disability or demand that the animal demonstrate its tasks. California law, including the Disabled Persons Act (Civil Code §§ 54-54.2), reinforces these federal protections. Local health codes do not override the ADA right of access for a properly controlled service dog in dining areas. The manner in which we were greeted immediately set a negative tone for the entire meal. Although my companion and I enjoyed each other's company, that was the only positive aspect of the visit. The initial confrontation over my service dog, followed by prolonged neglect from the waitress, made the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Throughout the meal I also felt meticulously watched, as if the staff were waiting for us to finish quickly and leave. As a result, I was unable to fully enjoy or finish my meal.

My wife and I had an enjoyable breakfast experience, tasting some unique dishes that are worth coming in for. We had a real early errand in the Lomita area, so wanted to take advantage by trying a different breakfast place. They have a really informative website, explaining the owning family's participation and how some of their food is sourced. It's a brunch place (open from 8 am to 2/3 pm, Tu-Su), so needed to wait a bit outside (street parking only, found one hour free parking right in front since coming so early). Menus are available at the front counter, and you place and pay (clover) for your order first. The food came out soon after, delivered to your table. There is a self-serve water jug in the same area as take-as-you-need take-out containers (also saw a self-serve costco-size plastic wrap box for wrapping...such a Korean thing to do). Utensils and napkins are available at the table to take for need. I really like places like this that have optimized the service experience, getting what you need without having to track someone down. Forking Around's Filipino Burrito ($18.95) - a collab with the food influencer 'Forking Around' to put into a breakfast burrito, many common ingredients from a Filipino breakfast. This includes egg, garlic fried rice as base and a vegetable lumpia with longanisa pieces, wrapped in a good flour tortilla. Sides were both a cilantro lime crema and a well made sawsawan. The sausage was not too sweet nor too red (though perhaps a bit too meatloaf-like), and the lumpia in the burrito worked for me. Korean Breakfast with bulgogi and steamed rice ($19.95) - it was served in a cast-iron skillet and the pan had been heated up greatly...super hot when served and still warm by the time we left. The flavor of the bulgogi was solid, and I loved the presentation. Taco Truck Burrito ($17.95) - korean-style al pastor pork, with pineapple and kimchi fried rice and egg. It was good....forgot to ask if the meat was really cooked on a vertical rotisserie. Came with a good chipotle salsa and lime crema. We were done in 30 minutes, from entry to exit. It wasn't too busy, so asked the front-of-house lead where the longanisa sausage and lumpia were made...she stated that it was all in-house. That's really impressive, making an ingredient from scratch that is only used in one dish. This and the elegant presentation and longevity really shows that the entire team behind bites & bashes cafe (catering) knows what they are doing.

Although I get annoyed at ordering at the front, I will say they try and speed the process up as much as possible. I've tried quite a few dishes on the menu and still have a few left to experience, but my go to is always something with bacon. The potatoes are cooked perfectly, along with the eggs, and steak (I believe they are cooking sous vide so they turns out perfectly every time) They have outside patio section that is shaded, along with little fans to help in case flies get in the way. This is a perfect brunch spot or a place to take yourself on a solo date, or family that's in town.

Everything feels clean, classy and thoughtfully put together. When you first arrive, seeing the line out the door can be a little intimidating. Usually at places like this, I feel like I have to fight for my life to find a table, but thankfully that wasn't the case here. The staff was very kind and asks how many are in your party and helps you get a table, which made everything much less stressful. They also give you menus while you wait so you can decide what you want ahead of time. We arrived at 10:30am and our wait was about 30 minutes so by the time we were able to order at 11am, the lunch menu was also available. I ordered the tater tots, Cinnagave Shaken Espresso, Dutch Baby Pancake and country sourdough toast with jam. With tax and tip, my total came out to around $40. It's definitely pricier than what I normally pay for breakfast. Most entrées range from $17-$34 and coffees are around $5-$10, so you can easily spend $30+ for one person. In these hard times, that's not exactly ideal for me. I also wanted to try a pastry to get the full experience, but when I found out the small blackberry danish was $7, I decided to pass. I just couldn't justify getting that close to $50 for breakfast for one person. Now for the food! The country sourdough toast with jam was actually my favorite item. The homemade sourdough was incredible and honestly deserves its roses. It sounds like such a simple thing, but it was so well done and easily the standout for me. Visually, the Dutch Baby Pancake was beautiful and definitely impressive when it came out. I've always wanted to try one, so I was excited! I will say, I've read everywhere that Dutch babies are supposed to have more of a custardy center and even the photos I've seen look that way. Mine didn't really have that texture at all and tasted more like a crepe. Maybe it was a little overcooked? It wasn't bad, just not quite what I expected. Still delicious! Unfortunately, the tater tots were the biggest disappointment. They weren't crispy, didn't taste seasoned and sort of fell apart until they became one big potato mess. My cousins and I ended up not finishing them. One of my cousins ordered the summer peach and corn salad, which she liked! Just a heads-up that it's only available after 11 a.m. My other cousin got the skillet, she mentioned feeling a little disappointed since it tasted a little dry and didn't finish her plate. However they both ordered the Curious George drink and LOVED it! The Cinnagave Shaken Espresso was also fantastic. Coffee is definitely something they do very well here and I can see myself getting again. Overall, the aesthetics are adorable and I could see this being a great date spot. The coffee was fantastic, the sourdough was amazing, but the rest of the food was just okay for us. That was a little disappointing because everything sounds SO good on paper. Maybe we just caught them on an off day. The prices are probably the biggest thing holding me back from coming back regularly. Spending $30-$40+ per person for breakfast isn't really in my budget right now, but if this is within your price range, you may have a completely different experience. When I review a place, I try to take the overall experience, personal taste and effort into account. For now, I'm leaving Zuzu's Petals at 4 stars because the effort is definitely there, and what isn't my cup of tea may be someone else's liquid gold. I'd still give them another chance in the future... after I get paid!

Avoid ordering via DoorDash as the app charges additional fees. I placed a mobile order and picked it up at the Dog Haus Carson location. [Parking]: There's a designated parking garage, but it was surprisingly packed on Sunday morning and I barely found an available spot at 10 AM on Sunday. [Atmosphere & order]: Dog Haus Carson has three TVs, but all of them were showing a bluish display rather than true color. Customers can also place walk-in orders via a kiosk. [Menu]: Bad-Ass Breakfast Burritos serves breakfast burritos all day. According to DoorDash, the top three most-liked orders are the Haus Burrito, Bronco Burrito, and Wurst Burrito. *** Bronco Burrito (3 fresh eggs, smoked bacon, white american cheese, avocado, pickled jalapeños, crispy tater tots, cotija cheese & chipotle aioli wrapped in a flour tortilla then grilled - sunny side egg - $12.99): The bacon was a bit salty and the tortilla was mediocre. The fillings were good, but adding jalapeños felt like a questionable decision. Overall, it tasted too saucy for my liking and I didn't even touch the chipotle sauce that came on the side. *** This is one of those passable breakfast burritos you get because it is convenient and available all day. Personally, I am sticking to places like Phanny's or Brother's Burritos for breakfast burritos in the South Bay.
