We stayed at the Sheraton about one block down and were looking for a quick breakfast place--these guys got it right! For under $5 per person, you can get a breakfast sandwich made up of your choice of croissant, bagel, or English muffin, yellow or white egg, cheese, and sausage or bacon. I went in two mornings in a row and got in and out in a matter of minutes. If you're coming off the street from the corner of Union and 6th, you have to go into the courtyard and up the stairs. There's no sign out front so you actually have to go into the building and you'll see it, right next to Starbucks. PROS: fast service, very reasonable prices for breakfast (compared to a hotel room service breakfast) CONS: they were closed on the weekend. The first time I looked around for this place I walked around outside for a bit before finding out it was indoors and there was no sign out front (don't give up, you'll find it!) BOTTOM LINE: if you're staying at the Sheraton and want to grab a quick breakfast that won't break the bank, walk 1 block down here for a breakfast sandwich. read more

Walla Walla Farms is a good option if you work (or not) in One Union Square or Two Union Square building in downtown. They have breakfast (until 10:30am) soups, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, salad bar, loaded baked potatoes, chips, drinks and other little snacks etc. Line can get long at high noon so I've been going before that. Sandwiches and wraps is mainly what I go for and the few times I've been here, it's been pretty tasty. I like the Chicken Bacon Ranch Avocado sandwich and the Turkey Club Wrap. Both are made to order, most sandwiches are heated up in their little Quiznos type oven. All sandwiches and wraps come with a bag of chips of your choosing. Sandwich staff works hard to get your order going and have a good memory to what you ordered as they are totally multi-tasking as you are ordering. When your sandwich is ready, they will call your sandwich out loud, not by your name, so be sure to pay attention and stop staring at your phone. Paying for your food has been confusing and a bit of a cluster lately, there are signs that tell you to order here, pay here, but then direct you to pay on the other side near salad bar. Then now it's back to the original way where you actually follow the signs, but the people that have been going to pay on the other side don't realize it's changed back to the original way, but it's tough to recognize that as there is not always someone at the register to let people know it's the original way not the other way. Get me? Glad we got that cleared up. Anyways, good lunch option, staff is pretty nice, food is pretty good, and prices are pretty normal for downtown. They do offer discounts on certain days, holidays and offer lunch specials of the day. read more

Do not use the web order. I put in a web order early, then got there just as my pick-up window started. 20 minutes later they still had not started to make it. Many people had ordered at their kiosk and been served. Talked to them and my order was sitting on a printer being ignored. The web app for ordering isn't very user friendly either. The food itself wasn't bad, but I needed something fast so I could eat and get to an afternoon meeting. If you're going to eat here, order in-person at the kiosk. That seemed to be faster (although still plan for 15-20 minutes to get your food). read more

Pre-pandemic, I used to frequent here frequently for breakfast and the occasional lunch. Post-pandemic, I am very underwhelmed. I've gone multiple times, wanting to give them more chances, but for the cost, don't think I can anymore. The eggs have been bland, and the bacon (which they advertise as crispy) is typically soggy and/or almost non-existent it's so thin (depends on the day). I am happy they survived the pandemic, and hopeful they will up their prep/quality. If they do, I'll happily be back to support. read more

This place is okay at best. Salad bar is okay. Have had both okay and inedible soup. But this is the saddest "grilled" cheese sandwich I've ever seen. Scarcely grilled and soggy--literally the easiest thing on earth to make and they found a way to screw it up. The girl who answered was rude and didn't know anything about Yelp. The employees at both locations were rude and unhelpful in answering my questions. I placed an order for catering, got 2 confirmation emails for the order, when it was set to be delivered, nothing showed up. I emailed and called with no answer. Loved the salad bar. There were a lot of fresh veggies to choose from. my son had a really good bacon cheeseburger. We went around 11 am. There was no line and we got our food quickly. We sat outside by a really nice waterfall fountain. The kids played around on the steps. quiet area if you want to get away from the noise and crowds of pike place market. The only thing I had an issue with was the price for a gluten free sandwich. The sandwich was pretty small (as is always the case for GF bread) but usually places will charge a little more and put in two of the same (to make 1 bigger). I love this place! It's very close to work, so I end up there at least once a week, but usually more. I've been meaning to try a sandwich or baked potato, but always go with the salad bar because I love the variety. It's also 30% off the salad bar on Fridays, which is so great. Hidden gem! I saw the reviews on Yelp and had to try it. Initially I had a hard time finding it. So worth the treasure hunt though. I initially went in to order a sandwich I saw online but found they had incredible soups as well. Because I couldn't make up my mind she let me taste test every one I was interested in. Had to have a customer behind me help because I couldn't decide on 2 of my favorites. Ended up walking out with the soup and the sandwich. Yum! The salad bar looked amazing as well. I wished I lived close because I would visit often. When I do come back to the area it will be my first stop.
