We always bring our two dogs here and they stay in the Switzerland suite. They take the most amazing care while we're away and wouldn't trust any other place!!! Thank you Dog Resort!!

We had a great experience here with grooming for our little puppy Jaxon! The groomer Alejandra was so sweet, detailed, and gentle with our fur baby. In addition, the place is so clean and spotless and the front desk staff are attentive and answered all our questions. We are looking forward to our next grooming session here for Jaxon in May! Lastly, we toured their facility and fell in love with their dog hotel suites and custom-tailored offerings for each unique dog, so we booked a suite for Jaxon while we go out of the country this summer. We love that their suites are equipped with cameras so we can monitor and view Jaxon any time we want while we are away! I will update this review with hoteling experience after but I just know it will be a positive one

Since i ended up stopping by this place for the second time in a week for other reasons i decided to just go in. The place looks freat the snack section for the doggies is cool, though very high dollar. I still bought a few. The balloons they have outside is crazy. If i take a trip id leave my doggies here.

I've been using Dog Resort since the days they were located in Hollywood, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Their service has always been exceptional -- consistent, caring, and professional. My dogs are very large Borzois, and grooming them properly is no small task. Yet every visit, they come out looking absolutely stunning -- their coats gleaming, nails perfectly trimmed, ears and tails spotless, and most importantly, their spirits lifted. You can tell how much they enjoy the experience because they leave happy, relaxed, and confident. What sets Dog Resort apart is the staff's genuine love for animals and the calm, clean environment they maintain. They treat every dog as if it were their own, with patience and kindness that truly shines through. I trust them completely and wouldn't go anywhere else.

    Dexter my best friend

I'm writing this post to warn others about my unfortunate first experience at Dog Resort. I brought my 4-year-old healthy French bulldog, Dexter, in for overnight boarding from Friday to Saturday. Everything seemed fine the first day and night, but when we woke up the next morning (Saturday), we received a call from Dog Resort saying that Dexter had been found unresponsive and that we needed to get there ASAP. Because we were out of town, we booked a flight home immediately. Before we could even get on the flight, we received a call from the vet informing us that Dexter had passed away and that he was brought in deceased, so there was nothing they could do. Once we arrived back in Southern California, we went straight to Dog Resort and demanded to see the video footage. What we saw is what prompted this review. Dexter was taken into the playroom that morning with the other dogs, where he could be seen happily playing and running around. However, after about 30 minutes, it became clear that he was winded and hyperventilating from the activity, which is common for French bulldogs. A worker then removed Dexter from the playroom and placed him alone in a private, glass-enclosed room. While there, he continued to hyperventilate and vomited white foam five times within a span of three to four minutes. Several employees walked past Dexter during this time but ignored his condition. He eventually collapsed onto his side and appeared to suffocate on his own vomit. What frustrates me the most is that Dexter laid there deceased for a full 10 minutes before anyone checked on him, during business hours (around 7 a.m.). When I asked the manager why no one attended to him sooner, she stated that the other workers were cleaning and that they can't watch the dogs at all times. For the price paid, you would expect someone to be actively monitoring the cameras during business hours, but apparently that is not the case. I then asked for a copy of the video footage so I could review it myself to determine whether there was negligence involved. The manager said she would bring the request to corporate and follow up with me immediately. After several days passed without any response, I emailed again requesting the footage. Their response was as follows: "YES, SO UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE THE FOOTAGE. THE CAMERAS RESET EVERY 2 DAYS AND WE NO LONGER HAVE THE VIDEO. HIS STAY WITH US WAS FROM FRIDAY TO SATURDAY MORNING. OUR CORPORATE OFFICES ARE CLOSED ON THE WEEKEND, AND BY THE TIME CORPORATE RECEIVED THE MESSAGE, IT WAS TOO LATE." I also followed up via email requesting the incident report and the waiver I signed when dropping Dexter off, but I have yet to receive a response. Very unprofessional! I am sharing this story about my best friend, Dexter, whom I miss so deeply, and about the horrible experience we had here--hoping it may protect others from experiencing the same heartbreak.

I see my dogs on the camera, and one of them needs help getting down from the bed. Who do I talk to after business hours? Is anyone there for the dogs after the business closes?

I suggest emailing Dog resort and notify them of your observation and request!

    What are the boarding costs?

Our rates start from $75-$115 depending on room type.

This place is the opposite. We took our dog here for a second opinion and were met with vets and staff that are both professional and have great bedside manner. Our dog ended up having a torn ACL and needed surgery. The care and order of operations he's been given have been completely professional and timely and assured us during stressful times. Our main vet is Dr Talwar and she's both empathetic and professional. Like our past vet we've been to, all good vet offices are often very busy and not the most expensive but not the cheapest. Just bear that in mind when booking an appointment.

I left the previous vet because I didn't feel adequate care was being provided. The front office staff always seems pleasant. The techs and vets have been helpful and informative, in my experience. Scheduling may sometimes take a few minutes but it's not a long wait on the phone. Prices are a bit higher than other area vets, and medications seem to run quite high. These are minor considerations when the care meets expectations. I have noticed that when you are in the exam room, there is a LOT of ambient noise from both the customer and staff sides. Dogs barking, people laughing, etc. are all amplified. This made my girl extra antsy yesterday. I'm thankful for the care we receive at LSFAH and recommend them for your pets' care.

She came back relaxed, happy, and well cared for, with no soreness or stress -- which speaks volumes about the thoughtful, attentive care she receives. In…read more2023/2024 I found the dog resort extremely helpful as a day time dog sitter for 4-6 hrs at a time. My dog didn't seem to mind it and always came back calmer so I decided to leave him here for 9 days while I went away for a trip. I don't recall the exact costs. Probably between 900-1100 dollars for daily walks and his home provided food. I asked the employees to put on his sweater at night. It wasn't a question it was a very important task they agreed to. He was a very small 8 pound yorkie and was always cold. When I came back my dog was not his normal self. That already made me highly suspicious about getting his walks. He was coughing a lot, not sleeping but also lethargic. I took him to the vet and he had pneumonia. Meaning, he was cold from day 1 and got worse for the remainder of his stay and I never got a call from here. From there he got sicker and sicker and I had to put him down. I was devastated and desperate to get him back to normal for months! I recommend people never leave their dogs in places like this. Sure you save money and they may or may not have company (depending on their personality) but you're better off vetting a dog sitter to check in or stay with your dog at home. In the end you may save yourself an onslaught of vet bills from trying to figure what is making your dog so ill when back from a trip. At least with an in home dog sitter they're more like to stay alive and healthy. If you have a small dog with specific needs get someone who can cater to your dog with love and care. I highly suggest NEVER leaving your dog for overnight or extended stays. I hate that it took me so long to post this but my grief was too strong to do it before. I wanted to sue, I wanted my money back, but I was so sad and I couldn't bring myself to do much other than focus on him and move on with my life. I'll never get another dog after this experience.
