Unfortunately, this time the experience was extremely disappointing. I first messaged Carlos on July 15th and received no response. I then called on Friday, July 17 to follow up, and initially got no answer. When I called on his cell phone again, Carlos answered and said he was driving and would call me back in 30 minutes. He never did. I called again later that evening, and instead of apologizing for not following up, the conversation felt dismissive and unprofessional. We eventually scheduled an appointment for July 21 between 5:00 and 5:30 PM. Carlos never showed up and never called to let me know there was an issue. I tried calling multiple times around 7:30 PM and received no response. At that point, I had no choice but to look for another groomer through Yelp. Ironically, Yelp also sent my inquiry to other providers and this same groomer responded first. Given that he had already failed to show up for our confirmed appointment and had ignored multiple calls, I told him I was no longer interested in his services. I understand that things can occasionally happen, but failing to communicate, not returning calls and completely missing a scheduled appointment without any notice is unacceptable - especially from a service that has already increased its prices multiple times. I had continued using Bark Barber largely because my dogs were familiar with the groomer, but reliability and communication are just as important as the grooming itself. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will be taking my dogs elsewhere. I have attached all the images of the call logs and messages with him as evidence.

After six months of silence, this guy suddenly messages me saying, "Are you still interested in…read morethis service?" as I received the message in SMS format - I had no idea what he was talking about - he messaged me without even mentioning what service he's talking about. Seriously? You think I've been sitting here waiting for you all this time? When I questioned him, instead of apologizing or owning up, he got sarcastic and told me I was being "smart & tough." That's his idea of customer service - insulting someone for pointing out how ridiculous his message was. And then I mentioned just because he has messaged me rudely now by saying that I am being "smart & tough" I messaged him back that now he deserves a rating on Yelp - and then he tried to justify it by saying he was "out of the country because of a sad family moment." If that's true, learn how to pause your business or set an auto-reply or reply from there in few days. Don't pop up half a year later acting like you're doing me a favor. Alina was very thorough when describing their services and process of what she does when she's grooming our pups. It was evident from the very beginning that her main priority was my (or any) dog's comfort and well-being through their grooming experience. She made me feel very comfortable leaving my fur baby in her hands! She did a great job and my pup looked happier than never to have pounds of fur off of her body (esp for the hot summer months coming)!
