My little Maltese loves this place! They take care about dogs and they got skilled groomers. I've been going here more than 5years and I cannot think of other places to trust for my dog. Recently they moved in Fullerton and they got nice, clean and huge place for dogs to play. There are separated rooms as well so they can even separate dogs in case. Love love love this salon for my lasso pup's grooming. Third time being here! Brought him in with terrible matted fur and fleas talked with owner about concerns for my little guy, allergies and heart murmur, they took note and were very happy to accommodate his special needs giving breaks to not over stress him. Telling them no rush, take all the time you need. Very clean environment, they keep pup's in sectioned off areas when waiting for pickup, not small caged kennels which can be intimidating. I was a first timer to a pet groomers since I got my puppy and I was really hoping for a great experience. I had called on a Monday for a Wednesday appointment the same week and when I called to confirm my appointment the day of they told me I had no appointment and had to make another appointment. That was ok, no big deal and I made another appointment. Unfortunately, my puppy didn't handle the grooming well, she was terrified. They called me in less than 30 minutes to pick her up after a bath and didn't finish the grooming. I completely understand that and I am glad I went to get her. I wouldn't want my dog to go through this. They ended up charging me $30 for a bath that I could've done at home. Without hesitation I paid it because i was in shock and worried about my dog, but that really bummed me out to be honest. I ended up taking her to petsmart a few days later and she was handled so well and got her grooming done there with no problem. read more

We just rescued a bonded pair of terriers who were sorely in need of a spa day! They were greeted by friendly, dog loving staff! I loved that compared to a lot of grooming businesses, this place was immaculate. There is a large, bright area which doubles as a daycare facility. 3 hours later they were literally transformed. I hardly recognized them, with their sporty haircuts, nails clipped, ears cleaned and smelling so good! We received a loyalty card which gives you a free gift/bath after so many groomings. So glad that these other great Yelp reviews helped me find this place! Just brought my pup here today and had such a great experience. He kept getting bad reports from Petsmart and they were never able to fully groom him because he would freak out and get bite-y at them. I warned the lovely ladies at Doggi Dogi about his potential anxiety, but somehow and miraculously, he had none of these problems with them. It must be the wonderfully calm atmosphere at this shop as well as their individual demeanors helping to keep my pup calm and safe. LOVE Doggi Dogi Spa. I was looking for a new groomer when I happened to drive by this place. Super clean, super friendly, super quick, and can't argue with the pricing. Not to mention the dogs get to run around and play while they wait for you to pick them up. My favorite part about this place is that they ask you exactly how you want your dog's hair cut, which no one has ever asked me before. They were super kind and patient as they helped me make the decisions. When I went to pick up my dog her cut was even better than what I could have imagined. Also it took less than 2 hours! I was considering whether to post this or not for a long time, but I thought I'd share some of my experiences for others. To start off with the grooming skills, they're good. Always gave what we needed, and I am not here to criticize their grooming skills. However, I'm just unsure whether the staff truly likes dogs in all forms. Granted, my dog (15lb) is a little on a crazier side. I didn't want to put all the blame on the staff and I was trying to be understanding the frustration it can cause, until I tried a different shop today and they told me he was nothing but sweet, calm and lovely. Doggi spa would call us to pick up our dog immediately, saying how he's "too whiny" and too crazy. How is it that other shop that I tried told us to take our time as he is doing okay? We tried Doggi spa multiple times as we did appreciate how well trained the staff were. However, we had a final straw of feeling really unappreciated when we're the ones who are paying to go here. Im sure there are other owners who have nothing but pleasant experiences here and I'm glad, but I will never come back here. Beware if your dog is on a livelier side because the staff will make you feel like you never train your dog. read more

I am beyond pissed at this establishment! They nicked a big chunk of my puppy's ear off. The lady told me she would call me once they were done with his grooming, but she took forever to call me. When I arrived, the lady apologized and said she was sorry for cutting my dog's ear. She said that the cut wasn't that bad and that it will heal quickly. When I looked at his ear, it was scabbed and I couldn't see how bad the cut was. I paid for my services and left. When I got home, my dog wouldn't stop shaking and was very distraught. A week later his scab fell off and now there's a big gap where the lady took off his ear! She busted a Mike Tyson on my puppy's ear! My puppy was traumatized for more then a month! I asked her if its fine if I dropped him off early. She said yeah go head. Asked for his name. I arrived her since I live like 2 blocks away. The windows has blinds on them and it was super dirty and old. Coffee machine for the customers were dirty and had hair on them.. Most of the retail stuff was covered so the dogs won't pee on them. No one greeted me. Two ladies in the back was just staring at me. Dogs were barking non stop in the front by the door and even in the back. One lady came up and said oh and started to look for i guess the dog information which was in Korean.. Hello I'm American, I read English.. So I told her I'm leaving to go somewhere else.. When they were doing business at Garden Grove, I used to go there for my dog's grooming. One day I dropped him off for a grooming service and went back a little early to pick him up. I went in, and no one knew I was there. I saw my dog still in the grooming room (you can see it through the window). And I saw the groomer/owner yelling and cussing at my dog and treating him violently. I thought my dog didn't want to go there because he was afraid of scissors or clippers. But no, he was actually afraid of the groomer. Since then, I haven't taken our dog back. read more

This is such an amazing place to get your dog grooming! The place has a wide and large space with AC so that dogs can run around and stay cool especially in this heat. The prices are reasonable because they do offer a lot of services with the package and the workers are extremely patient and gentle with dogs- especially mine who has anxiety. Why take your pooch to PetsMart or Petco for grooming? I don't know what these pet chains do to my dog, but my dog is terrified to go there. and i don't think some technicians (stylists) are not being trained property to groom pets. they use the wrong size scissors or tools to do grooming! what horrid!! I've been taking my dog to Doggi dogi Day Spa for past few times here and she comes back more beautiful than Petsmart or Petco can ever do to my dog. AND the price is a LOT better too, and gets done faster! I have a toy poodle and they were able to get it done by 2 hours. the lady who grooms my dog is also very sweet. THaNK YOU!!! read more

I found out that my favorite local groomer recently closed and I was desperate for a new groomer for my dog Sam. Just got my dog groomed today and couldn't have been more satisfied with the service they provided. Usually when I pick up my dog from the groomers he's usually scared and want to get out of the place as soon as possible, but I can tell they treated him well since he was so happy to see me. We've tried other places due to distance but we were never able to find a groomer as good and caring. They are very meticulous, detailed and caring to say the least. Doggi Dogi was everything that I was looking for ! Found them here on Yelp , and decided that everything looked great and I would give them a try for Harleys first grooming experience. Having never been to the groomers before , Harley has only been used to my fiancé and I bathing and grooming her at home , this included clipping her nails and cleaning her ears. I feel that this really prepared her for being professionally groomed. I'm so glad that as pup-parents , we set her up for success because she had a fantastic time at Doggi Dogi ! Doggi Dogi is located in a nice spacious area , very easy to get to. Inside the salon is spacious and clean , very aesthetically pleasing ! Doggi Dogi is ran by the sweetest ladies that really love what they do , they treated Harley like their own baby . Before starting they asked if I had pictures of what I wanted her to look like (it would be helpful for them if you had some to show) I showed them a few and they will let you know if that look you want is achievable . I also had a few requests and they delivered ! It took about 1 hr 30 min to finish Harleys session , they let me know how well she did throughout her session and I'm so pleased with everything ! I am so sad for the first reviewer and her puppy. That is something that should not happen! Poor little guy... Well if I had read that review before, I certainly would not have taken my dog there the number of times that I have! He's been there about three times and I can honestly say that I am happy with the services. This is for a number of reasons: 1. The previous groomer that I have been very loyal to has been charging me more while giving bad, uneven haircuts. Doggie Dogi cuts my dog's hair smoothly and shampoos his face well. He smells nicer, too. 2. My dog always came home acting very funny after going to the other groomer. He would run around the house and try to rub his body onto anything and everything. After going to Doggie Dogi, he returns as his normal self. 3. My previous groomer would book appointments only weeks in advance and only admitted dogs between 7 and 8 am, which is really inconvenient for my schedule. Doggie Dogi is flexible with their scheduling. Overall, I am happy to have found a better place than the groomer I had been taking my dog to for years. But again, I feel so sorry for the puppy who got his ear nipped off. Hopefully, that's not something that will happen to my dog or anyone else's! read more
